Nothing basic about it. This gym is a great place to really push your limits. The people there have a good balance of being friendly and pushing you to do your best with roughing you up. The coach is the realist in Redding, telling you what you need to improve on rather then telling you what you want to hear, nothin to it but to do it

Thought he was a good coach at first. But Cory doesnt work with the individuals abilities. Does not correct mechanics, teaches a one dementional style, that is best suited for a faster shorter fighter. Also gets mad at questions and clarification of drills, that just have made up names, Cory dreamt up. Dont think he is truthful about his experience level, as someone with a 191 pro fights should have more than a single verifiably fight online, which he lost by the way! Also found in his own words on Facebook, he was not boxing for at least a decade, that spans 2005 to 2015, maybe a little longer. I first boxed in 1988, does not mean I have 30 years experience, because I have long stretches where I was not boxing. Really in the end, I think Cory Rhoades been selling a lot of Wolf Tickets
