Craig came out to inspect my trees and provided a quote within minutes of leaving - he was very knowledgeable! Kelly and Peter came out to trim my trees and did a fantastic job. The tree I had trimmed was a very large oak tree with branches extending over my roof. Kelly and Peter were able to remove the branches without and damage to my home or porch. After they finished, they did an excellent job cleaning up, which I really appreciated. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services, and Leaf & Limb will be my go-to in the future for tree trimming services.

Had to have a 120+ 60+ year-old pine in a tight corner removed from the back yard, near a shed and two fences, plus a lot of neighbors. We did have the luxury of having the lot next door vacant with permission for access, so we had to move a fence, but it gave them great access to the tree in our back yard. Also had to have an out-of-control crepe myrtle taken down and its stump ground. Greyson called ahead and showed up as promised for the quote, and was able to fit us in within a week or so. He answered all our questions and concerns and the quote sent to us had great detail with pictures and scope of work listed. Their email communication was prompt, and clear, with caveats for weather delays spelled out. The crew showed up as promised, even though we had had enough rain we thought theyd have to postpone. They were courteous and spent time analyzing the pine and the best way to get the pine out of there. Unlike other tree crews weve seen in our neighborhood, these guys were very methodical, careful, and analytical about taking the tree down, and fastidious about safety. They limbed it from the bottom up, then felled it section by section. They were a joy to watch. The tree was so large, it took all day. They were able to take our 20-30 foot high 40-year-old crepe myrtle down in about 30 minutes and left the stump. They cleaned up with a blower and rake afterward and left. Except for our moved fence and some woodchips on our shed roof, you wouldnt have known they were there. That day, I received an email that the stump grinding would take place a few days from then. True to their word, they showed up, ground it into a nice little pile, cleaned up and left. True professionals. I highly recommend!!(Photos before it was finally felled)

Leaf & Limb knows trees and does really good, careful work. Their estimator Zeb was thorough and very courteous. I learned so much about our trees from their visit, which included work on red maples damaged by storms a couple of years ago, turning a young double trunk tulip poplar into a single trunk and trimming back an old Bradford pear. They worked morning to mid-afternoon and cleaned up everything. No trace they were here besides the beautiful work they left behind.They could have made extra money by also removing the overgrown crepe myrtles wed like to replace. But Leaf & Limb apparently wont cut down healthy trees! If you want people whose work is focused on keeping your trees healthy, and not just cutting them down, these are your guys.

Leo took his time to explain everything that was going to be done, and explained the care they would put into the service they were going to provide. We had to make a few decisions about certain aspects of the service, and Leo laid out all of my options, and worked through them with me. He gave me a great sense of security through his professionalism. I know I will be equally happy with the end result. Our experience with Leaf and Limb was excellent from start to finish. The estimator who came to our house was very polite, professional and knowledgeable.The tree removal service went very smoothly and we are very happy with the quality of the work.During the job one of their tractors made a muddy mess in our driveway, but before we mentioned it, they offered, and at their expense, had a pressure washing service come and clean the entire driveway, as well our sidewalk and porch which had not been messed up.They were very good at communicating to us about when the service would be performed. Their office staff was very friendly, efficient, and organized.We are very pleased with the service and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

This is the only company I would call for tree work. They know what theyre doing even in difficult situations. Having certified arborists on hand gives me confidence. The cherry trees they pruned last year are doing much better this spring.

After reviewing several companies, these guys not only had the best prices but also the most courteous staff. They removed 4 trees and left the yard better than they had found it, removing some additional branches that had fallen and taking care of all the fallen leaves - you couldnt even tell the trees had been removed. Insisted on making sure the ground was dry so the stump grinder didnt wreck the lawn. I recommend them to everyone. This kind of excellent service is rare in todays society!

They answered all my questions at the home show, quickly contacted me a free estimate at my home. Everyone was very friendly and the customer service was excellent. I was also provided a few options to fit into my budget which was wonderful. My tree trimming was done shortly after and they did an excellent job! The best tree service and first people Ill ever call when theres a tree issue. They had a crew at my house immediately after Hurricane Florence ended taking care of a broken maple tree. Couldnt ask for a more responsive company. They have good crews that know exactly what they are doing.

The guys that came to my house were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable in their expertise and the job they were about to undergo. They were very careful while removing trees that were over hanging my house as well as very close to my house. The post work clean up was amazing, it was almost like they were never here. During the work they gave me some great advise and information on the health of other trees in my yard, plating new trees, etc. The most attractive thing was the price. I had about 3 quotes and they beat the price by at least $1,000. If you are looking for tree removal service, I would highly recommend Leaf & Limb.

Yesterday, 8/27, Charlie and his team (Craig, Cody and Chris) did an outstanding job. They took down 3 trees while carefully protecting our fragile and dense landscaping.Clean up was meticulous and Charlie was very accommodating with leaving fireplace sized rounds for me and my neighbor. I chose Leaf & Limb primarily based on all of the good reviews online and their prices seem reasonable. Colin came out to do the estimate and was very personable, professional and is definitely someone I would feel comfortable doing future business with. The work was completed as agreed upon and the crew hardly left any sign that they had been on site that day. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of some confusion during the quotation process, and I was not contacted the evening before the job as promised. Neither of these is a huge deal, but were enough to knock the rating down just a bit. Overall I would definitely recommend Leaf & Limb to others and plan on using their services in the future.

I needed a Red Maple re-shaped and trimmed correctly after utility company came through the neighborhood. L&L came by and told me what needed to be done to preserve the tree and to make it healthy. Excellent service. They kept me up to date each step of the way of their service which I really appreciated. I highly recommend L&L for your tree needs.

From start to finish, my experience with Leaf & Limb was excellent. I had four dead gum trees in my back yard, one of which was several stories higher than my house, threatening to come down with every storm. I got several removal quotes in the same price range but went with Leaf & Limb because of their thorough website, courteous office staff (Andrea), and straightforward onsite free estimate. The removal crew (Hunter, Bobby, Oscar) was polite, safe, extremely talented (we watched the climbing and cutting like it was a circus act) and much more thorough than I had anticipated. They took great care to protect my house and yard and cause the least disturbance possible. When they were done, they removed everything: shredding, loading, chipping and sweeping until the only evidence they were here was the clearly marked stumps for the grinder to get at a later date. The stump grinding guy (Mitchell, I think?) was just as polite and thorough. Both teams laid down plywood to protect my yard from their equipment. I finished up with a friendly, no-issues payment with Andrea and will definitely be going back to them if I ever need more work.

We used Leaf and Limb for stump grinding at our house. We got quotes from a number of places and they were the most timely in replying to our requests and also had the best quotes. They were able to get to us within a week, called the day before to let us know they would be there and then showed up promptly.They did a great job grinding the stump without damaging anything else.I would definitely use them again.

All the employees I came into contact with were professional and helpful. The estimator and the workers both showed up on time, actually a few minutes early. The company responded very quickly when I contacted them. The employees seemed to genuinely love their job. I plan on using them again in the future.

The experience with Leaf and Limb was a good one. The service and price were excellent. The technicians were honest and came to my home on time; when they said they were scheduled to do the job. I also received a reminder phone call prior to their arrival. My yard was left clean after the job was done. The only complaint I have is that initial communication with someone at this company was delayed. I had trouble getting a response to my initial inquiry. And hearing back from them about scheduling was delayed as well. I followed up with them myself to find out when they had my job on the schedule. They were one of the only company to respond to my request on Yelp to having a large stump ground. The price they quoted was reasonable. The only drawback was it being springtime, it took almost 4 weeks for the crew to show up. However, the crew was presentable, respectful of my property and worked quickly to remove the stump. They left the site as I requested and did not damage the lawn nor any adjacent trees or shrubs. Overall I was very satisfied and would hire them again not only for grinding stumps but for having trees removed. Very professional.

I absolutely love this company! Theyve done a good bit of work at our house over the past two years, including removing dead limbs from some 80+ year old pines, fertilizing shrubs, pruning out limbs that are too high to reach, and removing an unhealthy tree.I honestly cant speak to the affordability compared to other tree services because I was so impressed with their customer service in the first quote I received that I didnt look anywhere else. One of the arborists spent a good hour walking around my property with me, since wed just bought the place. He was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot by picking his brain. I email him occasionally with questions and he responds promptly, even though theres usually not any money to be made in his answers.The crews always arrive on time, and usually early. The administrative coordination from the office is excellent, so I always know what to expect. The crews take safety seriously and wear proper head and hearing protection. Theyre courteous and professional. The work that I ask for gets done properly and with amazing speed. They clean up after themselves. Ive NEVER had any collateral damage to my other plants from work that theyre doing, even when removing an entire tree that had saplings and shrubs underneath.I dont think you can find a better tree company in the Triangle.

Being in contracting, Ive dealt with many tree removal services on my projects, although this was the first time I ran into Leaf & Limb. When I needed a few trees removed at my house, I asked for pricing from a few of the tree removal companies I had previously worked with, and ended up calling Leaf & Limb just so I had one more price for comparison. They ended up having the best price, not terribly cheaper than the others, but very competitive. I ended up using them and, suffice it to say, I was very impressed with them. They were great with communication, especially in regards to scheduling issues. I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have trees removed.

I cannot say enough about this company. From my first contact, to the walk around the property, to re-scheduling due to my conflict, to re-scheduling due to weather, the experience was seamless. Up front Ill say I didnt actually use Leaf&Limbs services. Heres why. I had a tree fall down in my hard during a recent thunderstorm and onto my car. I was looking for urgent help so I could free my car and get it repaired. The lady I initially spoke to was nice, I emailed some pictures and they emailed back a quote. $2100 for emergency removal of one tree that was already down. Emergency meaning it would be 1-2 business days AFTER you approved the quote/job. No big deal, its just on top of my car. I do hope if the tree had been on my house they would have found a way to tend to it sooner. My biggest gripe is the price. I wasnt expecting it to be cheap but 2 grand? Seriously? I found a company that came the next day and removed the tree in approximately 1/2 hour for $800. My message is this: shop around!

Leaf & Limb Tree Service is truly professional. I was so impressed with them. I hired them to grind two stumps and they arrived on time and left the work area very neat and tidy. And they were very easy to get on the telephone and through email to answer my questions and were always very courteous. I would most definitely hire them again without fail.

Leaf and Limb was the third tree removal service Ive used and their service was head and shoulders above both of the other companies. They removed five medium sized cypress trees located very close to a fence and ground the stumps of each. From my initial contact until they finished the job the staff was responsive, knowledgable, on-time, and communicative. The job site was cleaned up after each visit and they didnt damage any of the surrounding area or the fence. I highly recommend Leaf and Limb.

I called Leaf & Limb after attempting to cut down a large tree myself and ending up with a leaning death trap in the back yard. I was able to email photos and they quickly replied with a quote. A couple weeks later they came out and promptly and safely took the tree down. The price was exactly as quoted. They were professional, courteous and worth every penny. I will happily use them again next time I have a large tree to take down. Lesson learned, leave this kind of work to professionals.

Once again, a great job by Leaf & Limb. A winter storm uprooted five of our Leland cypresses. We contracted with Leaf & Limb because theyd done good work for us in the past and their quote was reasonable. They cut up and took away the fallen trees, leaving no debris.They came a week later to do the stump grinding. My husband said it was really cool, done with a robotic arm controlled by their tech inside the truck. Again, they left the area clean. Very pleased with their service!My husband asked me to add that the guys doing the tree removal gave very helpful suggestions for restoring the now-treeless space.

Leaf and Limb Tree Service did a fantastic job cutting down my tree. It was a very difficult cut. The tree had grown up between mine and my neighbor’s house. Plus it was entangled through our power lines and right beside of a chain link fence. To make matters worse it rained the morning they took it down. They showed up on time, cut the crown of the tree out without incident and took the trunk down in sections with no problems. They cleaned up the whole area as if the tree was never there. The crew was friendly, courteous, and very professional. I usually cut down my own trees, but this was beyond my level of comfort. They did the job for much less than I expected to pay. I would strongly recommend them.

The day we closed on our new home a tree fell in the front yard. We were able to clear the tree ourselves with no problem. However, the ugly stump in the front yard posed a problem. We called around to a couple different companies and Leaf & Limb Tree Service was the first company to call us back with an estimate. They were able to grind the stump into nothing but a tidy pile of wood chips without ruining the rest of the bushes in the area. They were easy to work with, prompt, and very flexible. I would use them again for any stump grinding needs!

I am friends with one of the men that cut down trees for Leaf and Limb. I called and spoke to a female a month ago to schedule a crew to come out and cut a tree down and grind the stump. I was hopeful that they would have an appointment available soon, but the lady told me they were booked over a month out. She was not very polite, but I made the appointment because of my friend anyway. I also called Landscapers to have an island and sod put down where the tree had killed the grass. I made the appointment for the day after Leaf and Limb removed the tree. No one within the company told me that a business man in a suit would be popping by my house on my appointment day for a few minutes and then leaving. On the contrary. The appointment that I made was to have the tree removed on the 30th. That was my full understanding. If a quote was needed first surely someone within the company had time within the month to swing by my house like this guy did to look at my tree and give me a quote. Or I could have emailed a photo to them! I was forced to cancel the landscapers for the 31st and paid a $100.00 cancellation for not giving a 7 day notice because it was a large job! My belief is that they didn’t schedule things properly and that noone was available to do the work on the 30th so they sent someone to the house to fake getting a “quote” instead. I called to speak to a manager and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail and never got a call! THIS COMPANY MADE ME MAD YALL! I do not recommend.

This is the second time I used Leaf & Limb and it certainly wont be the last. Each time from the front office to the guys doing the job they were courteous, on time and most of all left our property like they had never been there. I recently had a tree that was severely damaged and was 90 tall. I had asked them just to take it down and I would take care of the rest. I expected some damage to a retaining wall and some vegetation and told them this was OK. When the crew came out to do the job they were so skilled they were able to dropped the tree without doing any damage at all.If you are looking for the right tree service look no further. Leaf & Limb called me back right away and scheduled an arborist to come out in a reasonably short time frame. They also worked with me to schedule removing a tree and grinding its stump before my yard was scheduled to be seeded. Everyone from the office personnel to those who did the work were responsive and committed to doing an excellent job, and Im very pleased with the result.Right now many tree services have lots of work and dont have to add clients to stay busy. The first tree service that I called didnt respond to my internet request or my phone calls for almost two weeks. They tried to assist me by exchanging photos but also couldnt schedule an arborist to come to my house for over a month. The contrast made me really appreciate that Leaf & Limb is busy but still recognizes the need to return calls and to be staffed such that they can come out in a reasonable time frame.

Ive been using Leaf & Limb for years for all my tree needs. I have had 4 trees removed, one tree trimmed, and a tree planted in my front yard. My experience was always great. Experienced, professional, and fair, which is why I am let down by my most recent experience. It started in October 2014 when my wife was contacted because one of the guys who planted my tree noticed it had a lean and there were a few issues he wanted to make us aware of so that our expensive tree does not die. I thought that was great and refreshing. Problem was they never came back when we accepted the offer. Fast forward to our last snow storm when one of my pine trees had enough damage for me to call them up for a quote as well as to finally get the newly planted tree checked on. The first appointment (which took weeks by the way) was missed due to a poor communication that I do not blame on them, but when I called for a reschedule, I was a given a day and time that was never recorded so I waited around for nothing. When the gentlemen finally came by today he rushed, barely looked at my tree they planted, and then told me they cant come out for anything less than $250 and after I told him I got a quote far less a week ago, he said anyone who does simply is not insured. I found that odd because they have come out in the past without raking me over the coals. When I told him that he brushed me off and was already heading to his car. I dont know what has happened? I have been so impressed in the past and my loyalty proved it. Unfortunately, it seems that like so many business interactions nowadays, Leaf & Limb has succumbed to sub-standard customer service and unprofessional practices in a dog eat dog environment. He offered an apology and showed me the professionalism, fairness, and appreciation for customer loyalty that I have been used to by him and his company. This company is so professional! I am so impressed--not just some drive by guys with a chain saw who knock on your door and try to get you to hire them! They were next door taking down my neighbors dead tree with a crane when I asked if they could remove a tree from my yard with their crane. The response was immediate, got me a quote on the spot (saved me because the crane was already on site), and lifted that tree right over my fence and chipped it and carried off the chips. They did not want payment on the spot; they invoiced me which I paid online. And as promised two weeks later their stump grinder came by to grind down the stump. It was a task to get that machine inside my gate but by taking off extra tires to narrow it, the guy did an amazing job. Cleaned up after himself with rake and blower and left the rich mulch at my request. I cannot recommend this company higher!

My mature holly shrubs were severely damaged by heavy wet snow two weeks ago, and needed urgent help. Based on all the positive reviews I decided to do the right thing and use Leaf and Limb company with certified arborists on staff instead of a neighbor with a chainsaw. I clearly described the situation over the phone to a nice customer service representative, and asked her to make sure my shrubs are taken care of as soon as possible. I still had to wait for two weeks, and finally one of their arborists paid me a visit today. Never in my life have I seen a contractor less interested in gaining my business. He could not have cared less about my shrubs, and told me that their crews are booked for a month ahead, and they wont be able to help me with pruning. Admittedly, he did spend another 5 minutes answering my questions about DIY ways to prune shrubs, but I am absolutely back to square one, with two weeks wasted waiting for this nonsense visit. I absolutely would not recommend this company, they have plenty of business as is, and dont need yours.
