We had a tall dead tree in our yard, and some other trees that needed to be trimmed back. They came out and gave us an estimate. The arborist who came out was friendly and willing to explain what they were recommending, they quoted us a fair price, and they came out and removed the dead tree and trimmed the other trees without a lot of fuss.They also had an on-line billing system which was incredibly easy to set up and use.Of all the workers weve had over to our house, from yard maintenance to contracting and the like, they were the best people we have ever dealt with.

I live in an HOA neighborhood. This company was chosen by my HOA. I was in my living room located on the second floor of the townhouse, when rocks and wood was hitting my windows. When I went to look to see what was happening, I found my car and my neighbors car completely covered in small rocks and wood pieces. Apparently it’s a great idea to use an air compressor to dig out a root 6 feet away from my car and not even bother to knock on The doors closes to see if the cars can be moved. I went downstairs to check on my car to find a chip on my windshield! The worker brushed me off by saying that the HOA was ok with him not bothering to inform ppl that their cars are about to be covered in a massive amount of dust and possibly sustain damage. After speaking to the HOA, that is false and was a complete lie. They encourage me to contact the company to get them to fix my car windows.They are completely careless for people property! In the last image you can even see rocks flying towards my car as he is working. A telephone conversation included them not understanding how they could have caused my chipped windshield, when I literally have images of him using a compressor on dirt a couple of steps away from my car, with debris flying at my car. They are coming to look at my car tho, that gives me hope that they may try and make this right.

I have a Yoshino cherry tree that is about 7 years old and I have had some fungal issues with it in the past. I hired Bartlett to treat the tree an try to maintain its health. This is the first year Ive done this and so far I am pleased with the results. Nathan Cenis has been very attentive to my concerns and is responsive and timely. I am very happy with him and his team.

We hired Bartlett Tree Experts because we wanted to have someone give us an honest assessment of the many trees we have and where they are with either not being safe or needing attention. We did not want someone that is just interested in taking down trees and costing us a lot, rather an actual arborist that loves trees as much as we do and helping us make the best decisions based off their expertise of the heath and safety of the trees.The Bartlett team that arrived gave us exactly that – only removing the trees necessary (that were unsafe or dead already) and then climbing high in the trees to take off strategic limbs to allow for the tree to correct itself or allow more light for its health. The conversation was very professional and courteous, and the team was very respectful on what we were looking to have done. They were very efficient, skilled, and made us feel extremely comfortable with what they were doing.Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the service from Bartlett Tree Experts at a cost that we felt was very reasonable. Best contractors we’ve ever experienced. First, communications with Allen was incredibly easy. Dude replied in a timely manner and each time was courteous in his responses. Then four guys showed up on time and were professional and courteous. The crew was careful with our property. They must’ve taken a picture of our little ornamental frog and mushrooms display before they removed them, because they put them back exactly as they were prior. They removed and blew every bit of debris and wood chips. And the stump that remains is ground-level and cannot be seen. Look no further, just call them now

We planted a number of new trees in March and noticed at the end of June one tree was not doing well with leaves turning yellow and falling off. Called the Bartletts office the next morning and spoke with Meredith who was very kind and understood my urgency as we were concerned that it was a fungus or another disease that could effect the other trees. Meredith reached out to the arborist for our area, Jared, who squeezed us in the next day. Impressive!! Jareds expertise was immediately apparent and he found the problem immediately and showed me the issue. Jared designed a custom plan to take care of both the new & old trees in our yard, and his team was out within a few days preforming needed treatments and bug prevention.Just a few days ago, we noticed two old trees with yellowing leaves, and while it has been a very hot summer, thought it best to consult with our arborist Jared. Sent him an email this morning, asking if he could swing by when he has time and take a look and for recommendations. Jared ran by at lunch time and said everything was fine and we did not need to do anything! Impressive integrity and honesty!! We have full confidence that we are doing all possible for our trees with the honest advice & incredible service from Bartlett Tree Experts!!

A tree fell on my dads house in December last year and we used Bartletts to remove it and leave the tree in manageable pieces so we could just put the tree pieces in the woods next to his house. They did a fine job on removing the tree, but left far less than manageable pieces in his yard. The picture I have included is the current state of it...this is after I used a dolly to remove the pieces that wear around 100 pounds to the woods on my own. At this point, we are going to have to either move this ourselves or hire someone to do it. My sister wrote them several times about this, and even though they did come out again to cut the tree in manageable pieces (it was much worse than whats in the pic before), we still have pieces that are probably 500 or more pounds that we cannot move. I hate to leave a negative review because they were really the only ones we could get to respond to us and they did get the tree off the house, but I just dont feel we got what we paid for here.

From the initial consultation through to watching the trucks leave my yard, the service was impeccable. Everyone was courteous and on-time. The crew working in my trees was safe, efficient, and always had what was best for the tree in mind. I was consulted three times during the day to be provided project updates and ask if I had any questions. They cleaned up everything as if they had never been in my yard. There is a HUGE difference between hiring someone to cut trees and hiring someone to provide advice and service for trees and bushes. Hiring Bartlett was yard-changing for me!

Bartlett Tree Repair has far exceeded my expectations. I called to get a certified arborist to come out and give an opinion on whether a tree needed to come down in my yard. Robert came out the same day and answered all my questions. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. My particular situation did not require their service at this time. but if I had a tree that was diseased and needed attention and guidance to preserve it, there is no way I would call anybody else. We were very satisfied with the Bartlett Tree Service Team that came to our house. The guys were courteous, polite, and professional. After reviewing the work to be done, they kitted up and began trimming and cleaning up the storm damage. They worked nonstop until the last pile of debris was cleaned up. Even the little sticks and leaves were cleaned up with a rake, shovel, and leaf blower. I was impressed.I highly recommend Bartlett and especially the team that did our work.

We got multiple estimates on having a dead tree removed from our yard, Bartlett was superior by far. They were the most professional and were able to advise us on caring for some badly pruned crepe myrtles! We will bring our business back again!

Bartlett safely took down a very difficult tree. A very large tree had fallen and hung up in another tree in a gully behind our yard, but threatened our property if it fell. The area was not accessible by equipment, so the work was all done with ropes. It was amazing to watch the climber work off ropes belayed between 2 trees. He was like a dancer with a chain saw. I would recommend Jared and the Bartlett tree team without hesitation.

Bartlett is a national company but has local expertise. In fact they were recommended to me by a friend who works in horticulture at NC State and said Bartlett hires a lot of NC State alums. My original inquiry was about potentially moving a tree, and even though they dont perform that service, someone came out for a free consultation and checked out all the other trees on our property. He discovered a pest problem with one of our giant oak trees that potentially could have killed it, and had a crew out within days to treat it. He found a few other less urgent issues, and developed a full plan to help take care of all the trees on the property. Super friendly and professional.

Only positive things to say so far. Our arborist has been professional and personable. He explained the issue and treatment in simple terms. Additionally, he has been quick to reply to emails.

I had half dead trees all over my yard- totally figured Id have to replace them and had no idea why. Robert came out- immediately identified the problem - even told me how I could fix some of it myself- and gave me a reasonably priced menu of options. I was happy to have someone else do my tree work :-) A week later and one of my trees was blossoming- I didnt even know it did that. Such great work.

On July 8 Bartlett Tree company came to do a project on treework and Yardwork. This contract was not fulfilled by terms of contract. Had Allen arborist come and review incomplete contract. This was never fulfilled. Bartlett never resolved this. I just received a bill including a late fee. Do not send bill when contract not fulfilled much less with a penalty fee!! Have your billing arbitration department contact us after they review the contract terms. We are NOT happy with your incomplete project. We have video of project term violations. I had ruptured discs in my back so could not get outside and spent time with Allen to have it clearly written and still was not fulfilled. I also had been speaking by text and email mainly with Allen to have this clear. Allen was doing well with this until I wanted project reviewed and he darted over and rang doorbell making dogs bark when I still was unable to get to the door. NOT NICE.Have your arbitration department contact us. Not happy with project terms violated. This is poor service. You used to have good quality. What happened?!Jeanne Leitner

Punctuality is very important to me so to have the crew show up on time was very impressive. I had expressed up front that I work nights and sleep during the day. The crew worked so quietly that when I woke up, half of the job was done. We all know how loud a chain saw can be. They had a method that was quieter than most tree equipment and also what I was used to hearing.Then the crew provided courteous, professional, and efficient service. I’m a nature person, so when I saw the finished work, I can tell when nature is smiling back at me. I will,!! keep their number in my contacts.

Appointment was easy to set up and rep was on time. He quickly analyzed the problem with my cypress tree and recommended a treatment. Second rep was on time and sprayed tree to prevent further damage. Both reps were courteous and professional and will surely call them again if other tree problems occur.

I called back after getting an estimate to have them come to do the work and they said Someone will call you in the next day or so to schedule something After almost a week passed I called again and asked if/when someone was planning to come out and they said oh yeah they will be out tomorrow. No one showed up. I am completely unsatisfied and would NEVER recommend them to anyone, Their follow up and professionalism was one of the worst I have seen.

I didn’t use Bartlett, but that’s the point. They came out and assessed my situation and told me if they did anything it would be a waste of money. It’s good to know they’re honest and have integrity.

Called to schedule tree removal. Receptionist told me their arborist for my area (27609) was not accepting any new appointments. Asked who else they would recommend, and she said she could not give out any information like that. Completely not helpful and do not recommend based on this experience. Sounds like they need to hire more arborists!

Called Bartlett to diagnose my oak tree that had spots on it- they did, sent a rep who drilled into my tree with some substance, that did absolutely nothing. Had spots for the next 2 seasons. Spots are back again this year. Also, owner promised to come out and retreat for free, but did not- and just ignores emails. So am looking for another company. This company may know how to cut trees and prune, but they do not know how to diagnose and heal sick trees.

We had another tree service lined up for a large poplar killed by lightning. After two months of delays and lack of call back, I shopped the job around to other local firms. Bartlett is a larger company, so they werent my first choice (keep it local).However, the sales person Allen met with my wife, gave us two pricing options (they clean up or we do it after the fact) and even though they were substantially more money, I am totally happy with the work they did. The crew arrived within an hour of the estimated time, they immediately started the work, they did exactly what they said they would, and the job went exactly according to plan safely.That was money well spent and a good choice -- from a guy who prefers to do his own felling work. The crew was great.
