Larry is as good and trustworthy of a mechanic as you’ll ever find! Our family has been working with him for years and have never been disappointed. My most recent experience with him highlights the importance of having a trustworthy mechanic under your belt. I got a quote from a different shop out of town claiming I needed nearly $1700 worth of work done. The place felt slimy so I left and brought my car to Larry the next day. As I expected, the other shop tried to rip me off (while obviously pregnant, with a toddler and dog in tow I might add). I only needed $350 worth of work done, which he finished that day. I’ll never take my car to anyone else as long as he’s in business!

Did a great job repairing my older Ford Ranger that was running rough intermittently. Fixed it quickly and at minimum cost. Replaced an O2 sensor (1 of 4). Replaced only what was needed, and even talked me out of replacing the other three as a precaution. Ill be back!

Called in on Monday since my car wouldnt start, they were able to store my car at their shop until they were able to get working on it. Fair and fast quote! Very helpful and friendly. They replaced my starter and an oil change for me. My car runs smoot hill y ! Will be taking my vehicles back here.

Ive been in the auto business for 12+ years now, and deal with a lot of different shops. Larry at Puyallup Auto Tech is hands down the best place to send your car. I recommend him to all of my friends and family and have not once heard a bad experience for any of them. Larry is the only one I trust to work on my 80 series Land Cruiser or any other type of specialty vehicle.

Called 3 times and no answer so left message and still no call back. Guess they dont need new customers. Very disappointing. Ok this was originally done in Oct 2020. Went in and they had been overwhelmed and therefore unable to take new customers. But did finally got in by walk up and Larry took good care of the issue (rear main seal) (radiator) and done in a timely manner. Best repair shop in Puyallup. Will do business here again.

Larry and Glenn are HONEST. Multiple times now Ive brought my car in thinking it had one issue and when they get in there its another (usually simpler and cheaper) problem. I can always trust them to do great, honest, affordable work. They truly have their clients best interests at heart and are out to fix the problem, not make money off you. Took my Camry to another 5 star shop in Puyallup, they quoted me $1600 for AC Repair. Auto Tech took the time to run a few tests, bottom line was $400 later had ice cold AC. I appreciate the effort they put in to save me a buck and not just throw money at a problem

Been a customer since 1994, always been honest. Larry and his team are stand up guys, and take care of their customers. Moved up to Everett for a few years, brought my car all the way back down here a few times. Couldnt find a shop I liked up there. Larry did some work on my 1968 Barracuda as a wedding present, so we could use it at the wedding. Cant say enough about these guys. Thanks Larry :)

So my car just stopped coming up 512 and I thought it was the transmission cause I just bought it cheap a few months before. I was fully expecting to pay 2000 plus for repairs but the guys at this shop told me it was a minor issue and only charged me 48 bucks. Im not mechanically inclined and they could of easily gotten me. I know where Im taking my car for repairs for now on. Customer service was great and Larry was really nice. I will be taking it in for a tune up and break changes next week. Thanks again!!!!

Best place to have your mechanic work on your car

Brought my vehicle in let them know what the problem is and had faith that these guys could fix it since they own a shop that has no other purpose but to fix cars.Well what happened is they over charged me for something that was completely unneeded to be done then told me my car should have no problems after that. That evening I drove to work ( at this point its barely starting again)When I was going to drive home from work the car did not start at all. Now my car is stuck far away with me having no way to get it.I called hoping the said mechanic could give an idea. Instead GLENN blamed to issue on meWhen I told the mechanic about the problem prior to this he told me it wouldnt be an issue. Instead he created an issue and refuses to help or take responsibilityThe old men and kids are incompetent and thieves
