Been a customer for a long time now (10 years?) and never had any problems, but recently they started nickeling and diming for every little thing and last bill was over $100 for our normal 1 large can and 2 small ones weve always used (our own), when its normally $50. I can get a 2 yd dumpster for that price. Dont put our cans back anymore, either - worse service for twice as much? No thanks. Im shopping around for a new service. Beware of these jokers now, theyve gone downhill.

Absolutely awful We paid 250 EXTRA dollars to take a bunch of extra garbage. And they took the money immediately but when trash day came, guess what they didnt take. And of course they dont answer the phone. They say they close at 330 but dont bother calling past 3 they wont answer please dont give them your money

We have been customers for years and have NEVER been disappointed with A-Affordable! They are professional and polite on the phone and are much cheaper than waste connections. Also, it’s important for us all to support locally owned small businesses and A-affordable is a rewarding way to do that!

They charge way too much for how much they complain. If youre one bag over the limit they either charge you more or do not take your trash basically they hold you for ransome EVEN IF you have already paid the bill and the lady I get when I call Melissa is very rude

After our move, we chose to switch from a national company to a local business. We are so glad that we did! The customer service is wonderfully refreshing, from the office to the drivers. Everyone is personable and professional. They definitely go the extra mile. Highly recommend.

We have used a few trash companies here in Pueblo. A-Affordable is reasonably priced compared to the competitors and the drivers have always been super nice for the last 10+ years. They return my trash cans to the side of the house and will even take some extras outside of the main trash can (within reason). They are my go to for a trash company hands down.

I am making it a point to review this company because I’m really impressed. When I moved to Pueblo and learned that there are options for who to choose for trash service I noticed they didn’t have the greatest reviews but I went ahead with them since my landlord recommended them and I’m SO glad I did!The customer service is so friendly and the service is really wonderful! They even bring my can into my driveway after pick up! I’m surprised they don’t have more great reviews because they are the best trash service I’ve ever had.

Driver leaves all the work to one person driver never leaves the truck they don’t even put trashcan back like I used to I used to give them tips stop giving them tips would offer them cold drinks in the summertime but stop doing that because they can’t do their jobs like they’re supposed to I watch them drop trash all over the road they takeoff and don’t even clean it up very poor service

They offer a discount if you use your own container but if it says waste connections on it they wont pick it up. The lady who answers the phone is rude . Now waste connections can have my money instead of these clowns.

I just started service a few months ago and was not given any notification about holidays. I didn’t even think to ask at the time so I missed my pickup at thanksgiving and they charged me $25 to come and pick up. Now I can see the charge if this was a regular thing and they let me know the days but neither of those things were the case. To top it all off, the lady in the office was super rude about it. I will be looking for another trash provider and I would recommend the same.

I have had this service for several years now. The first couple of years, they would exchange trash cans at least once a year so it was cleaned. Up until recently, they always brought my can back into its space near my garage, but Monday the driver was pulling them to the middle of the driveway and leaving them there. I had to leave my car half in the street, get out and move my can to get my car parked. I realize that moving them back into the yard is just a special touch and I dont even expect, but dont leave them in the middle of the driveway...

The trash people have emptied my trash for many months. I am thankful for there smiles and hard work. I have interacted with several men and they truly care about getting the job done right. Thank you for hiring these respectful and caring people that I had the privilege of interacting with and please consider promoting some of them. Thank you.

Because of the virus we got hit with with only one income. Was sent to collections. Not knowing this has happened, I paid the amount in collections and after doing so my services were discontinued and was left wondering. Pretty disappointed. Now I know why the reviews are bad. I have lived in many places and this is by far the best waste disposal service I have ever had. They are consistent in pickup times and their prices are excellent. They bring your trashcan back to your house which is not only extremely nice but also beyond helpful if youre planning to be out of town on trash day. I recommend them to anyone who asks.

Stay far away from This rip off Trash service!! I and many people I know canceled this service because of the total lack of professional business tactics and overall lack of care for their customers! I was sent to collections for a 5$ Bill I didnt owe during this pandemic and I even tried to go pay at their office but they were closed to the public...... now its inflated from 5$ to 43$ from collection though I tried to go pay the false bill I got for 5$ and couldnt because they were closed..... called and tried to get it takin care of and got a total lack of regard for the situation.... Tooo many good Trash service companies as competitors for you to treat your customers like this....

Previous company always had excuses in why they couldnt show up to get my trash. I hired a- affordable and explained the situation. They agreed to come the next day and clean up anything the previous company didnt. Right on time they showed up and took care of me. They even put the chain on my containers as I asked them to do my cans dont blow down the street. So far so good. Thanks.Update: After using a-affordable for a year I would like to report they are still a great company. They did chain my toter up in the beginning but that quickly fell away. No wind has blown it down the street so I let it go. They are still on time and reliable. I can call and get approved for pickup of extra stuff no problem anytime. I think Ive seen one rate increase of a dollar a month in the last year. Thanks for the continued great service.

I am a recent customer (3 months) with A-Affordable and must advise that the drivers on my route are the most conscientious men I have ever had who picked up my trash. They are friendly, thorough and always on time. I have a steep driveway and also have a prosthetic hip which makes it difficult to bring the receptacles up and down. the driveway. These men have always made sure my receptacles are brought up the driveway and placed next to my house even though Ive never asked them to do so. They are an asset to their company and a blessing to me.Many, many thanks for a job well done. Ill certainly stay with A-Affordable Disposal indefinitely.

A Affordable is one of the best trash service companies that I have had. We always appreciate the guys taking time to return the container up to the house. They always come on time the day of the service. we are moving and unfortunately not in the Pueblo area. They have the very best prices and service in Pueblo West.

I have been with a affordable for 10 years and during those ten years Ive had several issues with this company. today was the last straw again they leave my trash can in the middle of my driveway and I have to get out of my vehicle to move it to park. They must have high turnover or not understand customer service because they were very happy to lose me as a customer because I was upset about the service. I highly recommend going somewhere else today was just the last straw over a 10-year struggle. As a company they suck.

Its not a clean site when they leave your spot you will have to pick up trash that they leave and bottles that they bust

Great service. The first time they got our trash I noticed the can was up by the house. I thought wow some nice neighbor did it. Well turns out its them very nice. With them its always taken care of no issues

The drivers and staff and very friendly,I wasn’t able to pay my bill due to extra medicine and I called and they let me do two payments, that’s very nice to do to keep a customer happy.I would recommend them they are fair priced and always on time .

We just signed up with A Affordable a few weeks ago and it’s been great. I even forgot to bring my can to the curb one week and they came and got it and still dumped it for me. The little things make a big difference!

This is how they clean up the trash. Just dump it on the floor and notify no one. I called and talked with a lady that said they are not responsible. I would not do business with someone that doesnt take care of future clients. 6 bins 2 pick-ups a week just lost that business. Thanks

I spoke to the owner of A Affordable waste collections about my trash not being picked up, not only was she extremely rude but she didn’t seem to care that I was having problems with her business. The entire conversation she was acting as if I was Inconveniencing Her with my phone call and my concerns were invalid. I will NEVER use A-Affordable disposal again!

Have had their service for years! always friendly on time love they bring your trash can up away from curb,reasonably priced.

Keeps increasing the prices, doesnt give much for service options, and doesnt give services if you are late on payment, but disreguards timeframes that they dont provide service. There are better cheaper options in town.

After reading some of these reviews I decided to go with Waste Management. I dont think its right for a worker to talk about a customer or recent customer when the review site is for the customers to give feedback about the company, And it sounds like customer service needs to be improved!

After our services have only been picked up 1 time in this entire month. I decided to call I talked to them yesterday the lady insisted that the trash was not close enough to the road. Its not even 3 feet away. The lady I spoke to said she would have someone pick it up insisted it would be picked up. That was yesterday today we went to throw our bags in and see that its still full, well my boyfriend called today since its in his name and instantly got transferred to the owner who wouldnt even let him say what he needed to say. She looked in the notes and blamed me for saying that I called and said our trash wasnt even out there but come pick it up. My trash can has been sitting in the same spot for 3 days. I have been using affordable for years but when we are getting yelled at on the phone by the owner saying shes going to cancel our services because we called them out for not picking up our trash and asking them if 3 feet from the road is to far for them to pick up the trash then good riddens Ill take my money somewhere else.Thanks for taking the time to respond to my message but if you must say that hostility is the reason, anytime that I have called to talk to someone or pay my bill so Im not sure hostility has anything to do with it. Today while you were on the phone with my boyfriend he couldnt even say a word to you because you were busy interrupting up and if anything being hostile yourself. As for myself yesterday yes I was frustrated considering I called to ask a question and I get the oh well your trash wasnt out. Had trash service for over 8 years not a one trash can broke. Been with these guys the past three years and broke all three that I have then wont take the trash after they broke the trash cans. They suck.

I paid every notice I received the moment I received it yet they claim I was a month late. The notice says I still have another month before collection would cease on 9/27 yet they stopped service a month early and refused to come and pick up the trash that was now piling up without a fee. Ive never been late with a payment in the 5 years Ive been a customer yet they refused to do anything for me. I cancelled right away that is not acceptable customer service for an issue that was their fault!

They liked to leave my trash bin in the middle of my driveway, and on at least one occasion never picked up my trash, and then said theyd charge $20 to make a special trip to come pick it up.

Office personnel needs customer service training there was a $10 fee for a return to Routt they said I agreed to I was unaware of from the previous billing cycle didn’t make sense to me so I questioned it and I was told I had to many complaints if I had another they would cancel the service We’re going to save them the trouble despite that mess I was pretty happy with the drivers they did do a good job

I see many others get their container moved to the front of the driveway. When I asked why mine wasnt, I was told it was a courtesy, and that it was because I had called about it before. I will admit I used a profanity. I am disabled.
