I have been working w Keystone for over 3 years now. I started off with Lori Allen at Remax Associates and finally had had enough- so I reached out to Keystone to manage my rental in Pueblo. I have been so happy with their level of service, to include their response time, their managing tenants on my behalf and all that goes into a being a good property manager. I would absolutely refer them all day long!

Sylvia, Ann, and Susan are all really wonderful ladies. Wanna give a shout out to Mike as well. Theyre all always on top of everything and getting things done that need to be. They make sure the tenants are well taken care of. I urge everyone not to go off of the negative comments, but to try for yourself. Ive only ever seen positive come from this company and the people who work there.

Be aware!!!! I gave one star because there is no zero star option! We were the first one to see the property and to fill the application (that is what we were told), payed the $80.00 got approved, received an email from Mrs. Sylvia at 3:59 PM asking us to pay right away the deposit of $1,750.00. My husband replies at 6:24 PM (same day but we are out of town so different time zone) asking for the contract, this is the first time ever we are required to pay a deposit without seeing the conditions or rules that we should abide by. Mrs. Sylvia never answered our email. Next day we received a voice message from Mrs. Sylvia at 9:14 AM mountain time stating that they already had rented the home since we did not pay the deposit soon enough. Really?!!! For sure not a professional way of doing business. I am glad the true colors of this office showed pretty soon because we do not want to be stuck with a contract with such an unprofessional service.I will say of your response that you are just confirming what I wrote. Your office was expecting a deposit in such a short notice without sending us the contract for reviewing. If others have such a confidence to give away money without seeing a written contract, well, that is not the way we do business. Didnt he mention he was out of state in a training? He answered as soon as he could. May God, who over sees everything and sees all intentions of the heart be the witness and judge in this situation. Today you have the upper hand with a quick moving rental market may God continue blessing your business in the same way you treat prospective tenants and tenants in general.

My business is to provide affordable working-class housing without government support. I began it 6 1/2 years ago in Pueblo and my realtor referred me to Susan and Ann Sanders of Keystone. Since then, Keystone has been an outstanding. They always find the best clients and really pick up the slack for me, since I am not in town as much as I would like. I have to compliment Sylvia, too, for her exceptional work as receptionist. Keystone has helped me to maintain and upgrade my properties, without pushing the rents of my tenants through the ceiling. They have been especially helpful in finding the best contractors around. I would recommend them to anyone.

The realtor stood in a corner during my walk through . I had to approach her. The house was extremely outdated and not something you would want to have your children live in. Maybe that’s why the realtor wouldn’t move from the corner . She scheduled another person during my appointment as well. I called about my application to inform them I did not like the unit so if they could pull my application and the receptionist was extremely rude and sarcastic. They originally said they would hold it until I looked at the unit so I could get a refund Incase I didn’t like it. Then the receptionist said they don’t do refunds if I paid through the portal. I had a bad experience start to end. I was really disappointed .

I’m already disinterested in services from here because Sylvia scheduled me to view a property that was ALREADY in the process of being rented so just a couple days later I received a text saying it was canceled. I could understand doing multiple showings to find the best tenants but after just 2 DAYS getting a cancellation that soon means they were well into the process of renting to someone else when I was scheduled to view the place. I’ll probably get another cancellation text here soon for the other property I wanted to see. It seems like ALL realtor companies in pueblo love to get peoples hopes up. I haven’t been able to view ANY properties because they’re either already rented despite showing available on their websites or get rented the next day.

Poor service from the start! I turned in an application on a Tuesday and was told it would be only a couple days. Two days later there was a change in my income and I reported it to them and they continued on processing the application. After waiting the rest of the week and weekend to get an answer they told me they would not rent to me because of the change in income (even though it was more). They did not even call my employer to verify anything. Also if you were ever in a situation where you rented two different properties at the same time you would not qualify or meet their standards ! Sylvia was extremely rude to me and did not seem to care about my situation. I asked questions to further explain why I was denied and they were short and not willing to thoroughly explain why these were reasons to be denied. I am currently living in a motel with my 5 month old baby and a trailer packed of my belongings. They wasted my time and SYLVIA seems to be pretty inefficient and heartless. Would not recommend any one to deal with this company. Especially since renting is a hassle in the first place- they make the experience worse.

DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY FOR AN APPLICATION! These people scammed my Son in the worst way! They take your application fee but have no intention of renting to you. They are a scam. They keep properties unrented so they can collect your application fee and then tell you it was already under application or someone else already rented it. Why are they taking applications on properties that are already under application? SCAM

From an owners perspective, Keystone has proven to be extremely responsive and detail-oriented. Ive been in the office when potential tenants have been there filling out applications, making arrangements to move in, paying rent, etc. and have always been impressed with the friendly atmosphere Sylvia, Ann and Susan have created. I recently moved to the area, and couldnt find a rental in my price range anywhere. I felt like every company that I contacted was almost making fun of me because of my move-in budget, and made it known that I was wasting their time. When I contacted Keystone, they were not only helpful, but never made me feel like the others did. They were honest with me and told me it would be a struggle to find a place in my budget, but continued to work to find me a place. When I finally got the call that they had found a place, I was so happy. Not only was it a place in my budget, but it is very nice.I would like to thank the ladies in the office for being so helpful during a bad time in my life. I read some other reviews that said they were rude, and I dont see that at all. They went over and beyond what I would have expected, and helped me find stability during a rough time.I would recommend Keystone to anyone looking for a place. They are 👍👍👍

Went to see a rental a few days ago and when it came time to get the application the lady said it would be double the deposit! Really?? On every single website and Facebook it says NOTHING about a double deposit! It simply says move in is first months rent which is $1000 and a deposit of $1000.

LEAST COMPASSIONATE MANAGEMENT:SYLVIA disproved my application because of a miswrite on there that she felt was too dishonest. I wrote that Ive been with my job for 6 months instead of 3. My 2 year old son, my fiance and I are living in our jeep at the moment and were counting on moving into one of the properties that they had available (one of which she informed us had already been rented, which was a lie), but are now out $80 and a place to live, because of her unnecessary hatred. SYLVIA I hope that someone shows you kindness when this happens to you, because I assure you, you will be caught in a little white lie, and someone will treat you exactly how youve treated us. I hope that you and your family are never in the situation me and mine are in. STRONGLY urge all you people out there looking for compassion, DO NOT COME TO KEYSTONE, THEY ARE HEARTLESS, EVIL PEOPLE WHO WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH IN YOUR FACE.

I lived in a home that this company managed for 2 years. Various times they took their time making repairs to vital parts of the home, such as heater and air conditioner. The heater was leaking carbon monoxide and caused health issues and they refused to help with my medical bills. Then they did not fix my heater all winter (October to January). After that they gave me 2 space heaters to heat half of a 5 bedroom home. The other half was central heat, which was gas. So both my gas bill and electric bill skyrocketed. I begged and put in multiple requests to be fixed. The company agreed to help with my medical bills and then backed out, even after providing them with my medical bills and my HVAC techs findings and then complained that I was late with the rent. Which I was late with the rent to pay my medical bills. I kept arguing that I needed things fixed and finally in March they half fixed the heat. Found out from my own HVAC tech that it was leaking carbon monoxide into my room the entire time because they had no outside vent for flue gases and that the repair they had done was illegal because they did not seal off the vent into my room nor create a vent to go outside. So it is still dangerous. I let them know this and still no help with my medical bills and they still did not repair properly. Then in April of this last year notified them one of the swamp coolers was not working properly. They never repaired that either so it left my home unbearable all summer. I got caught up on rent anyway and was notified they would not renew my lease in July. At this point this was fine by me, since it was clear to me, they do not care about tenants, I had a newborn grand-baby in my home and I had neurological damage from this leak and that could have been my grandchild. I was moved out on time and someone broke into the home and vandalized the property and now they want to charge me for the damage the person did. I have a police report and notified the company right away of what I knew. They also tried to charge me for clean up from the damage the vandal did, when I had spent hours cleaning the home and even sent them photos and have witnesses of how I left the home. I have been speaking with an attorney but thought the public should be aware of what you are dealing with here. Let me be very clear, I was never late on rent until my medical issues and was a good tenant. They even said so upon inspection the previous year. Do not rent from them!

I had the worst experience with these people. My father co-signed with me because this was my first time renting. They said we needed to give them his proof of employment- which we did. Since he has his own business they didnt think it was a reliable source of income despite the fact that we proved he makes 3 times the rent in one week. They were extremely rude to us when we explained he was self employed. The way they handled the situation made it seemingly impossible to give them what they wanted. Not to mention the apartment was super crappy with boarded up windows, holes in the walls and smelt really musky. It was way more trouble than the apartment was worth.

Worst experience ever. We moved fromout of state and had family go look at the property for us and Submitted application & app fee online. We were assured that there should be no problem getting into the house since I have good credit. There was a false eviction on my report so I was told that as long as I could prove it was false then everything would be ok. So I had the landlord call them and explain that he had my file mixed up with the upstairs neighbors file and sent paperwork to his attorney to have corrected. This was a week & a half process. That doesnt seem long but it is when you have to pay an additional 630 for the haul (ontop of the 800 already paid) and hotel fees while waiting because you were told after proof was presented to them everything would be ok. I called AGAIN to check status of them recieving documents and speaking with landlord again and the girl says unfortunately even though you have proof it still showed up on your report so we cant rent to you. Had I been told that the 1st time I would have saved 3000 and got the place that I have now and not been hurt financially. I have a 10 year old kid and this happened several months ago and Im still trying to recover from it. Unfortunately I dont qualify for food stamps so its been rough. Thanks Keystone.

Sylvia was always rude regardless of why you needed to call.Upon move out I was charged to replace the carpet that was noted in my lease as stained by a previous tenant.Property was in terrible condition. If you can, rent anywhere else.
