After my father in unexpectedly passed on October 17, 2020 I really didn’t quite know where to start except that his home had to be sold so that his estate could have some kind of funds in it . My fathers handwritten will just wanted to be sure that my nephew received money from the sale of his home because my sister passed away in ‘97 when my nephew was only 1 years old .Feeling very overwhelmed with so many strong opinions in my fathers extended family and really hoping that I didn’t have to endure a new Probate case as my mother passed in 2018 and it took almost until 2020 for it to be finished .I had seen some kind of online ad cash for houses . I went in knowing that to sell to a cash buyer would mean selling it below what the fair market value of the home per the current market . Greg and his associate made me a truly reasonable and fair offer from the very first time they viewed the house and we had all briefly met .The other associate was kinda just in and out and onto the next one . Greg stayed behind and asked me some questions and informed me that indeed probate would have to be opened . I searched through lawyers in the area and he told me he was going to contact someone he knew about probate . Although the first person he contacted couldn’t help Greg took the lead and spoke to an agency for probate and he even assisted me with the retainer. Probate is a long process , Washington county courts are the slowest , and put all the closures and restrictions of Covid into the mix and just to get the court to allow me to sell my late fathers home took an eternity .During the many months of waiting Greg off and on would check in with me see how I was doing and if I needed any assistance with anything .When my probate case was filed through the Washington county court I suddenly became a person who received at least three calls a day from other people claiming to do exactly what Greg does. They would ask if they made an offer higher than the one I had verbally only if I would consider theirs. Honestly I was always very upfront we these people and tried to kindly decline . A few of these people would not let it go and felt like maybe they could wear me down by calling a few times a week with insane outrageous cash offers that I knew were a bad situation or deal.Greg is quite professional , he’s very mellow and knowledgeable, he is quite respectful not to you but in understanding that the only reason you are speaking with him is because of loss of a parent or something similar . Greg never gave me the impression of “ like a used car salesman , he really did and followed through on all that we discussed . I honestly was a bit fearful of his integrity because you simply only see this on a very rare occasion esp when it comes to buying homes as investments . Because of his integrity more than anything else I made sure that he was def the only one I even considered selling my dads house to .I am please to say that as of Feb 12th Greg is now the new owner of my dads old home and the home I grew up in . I would recommend Greg to all hone owners that want to sell their homes in the PDX area or even beyond if he buys from other areas .
