I really enjoyed working out of here with a hot desk membership. Met some great people and felt part of the community!

WeWork US Custom House is excellent! Great people (members and staff). Great facilities. Just a great space all around. For anyone wanting a desk downtown, this spot should rank high on your list of possibilities.

Come join me and work at an inclusive, entrepreneurial, and otherwise creative and awesome space. The decor is fabulous, but the people inside are even more fabulous. Whether you need a simple desk to work at or a private office, WeWorks got you covered. There are events happening every week for networking, public speaking, mindfulness, you name it. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Location is prime with metered parking in front and great eateries all around. AND its affordable, all things considered. Strongly recommend poking your head in and taking a tour.

Sure, it feels like a hipster zoo but its literally the best option in Portland for small biz office space. Everyone is doing cool stuff in this easy, laid back, and well considered conversion. The building used to be the old Portland customs house so has a lot of that old federal building scale and charm.

Hands down the best co-working space I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. If I didnt have my own retail/office space available I would definitely be taking advantage of either their hot-seat plan for entrepreneurs or maybe even renting a space. The view is awesome from most of the units and I could not have been made to feel more welcome by staff.

Lisa Siems is so helpful and really gave me answers to questions I didnt have. She knows everyone by name. Not just the businesses but staff that work there as well. The space is open, clean, crisp, fresh and is a perfect addition to the Pearl District. The staff on hand are very helpful and answer any question we may have in the moment.Since I have a podcast, the soundproof booths are perfect for what I need and the amazing free coffee keeps my wallet happy. All and all. If you are looking for a new, clean and clear space. This is 100% your style.

I really love it here. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful and the coffee is always really good. it can be a bit loud, but I personally work better with ambient noise. A great place to go when I need a little external energy to motivate.

One awesome space! As a collaborative work space, they have the right formula. A beautiful interior, lots of space, beer on tap, couches, ping pong tables...oh yeah, and they have office spaces -- both open and secluded style. Excellent facility, great staff, good networking capability.

My son has an office here and I was really impressed. You can feel the creative energy as you wander the floors while sampling beer thats on tap. Each floor has a different brew. Theres fruit and vegetable infused water on each floor, coffee and tea with real mugs. Even has a decompression room with lots of Redbull! There are plenty of sitting areas with modern furniture and theres even a foosball table. Its just a cool space that has kept a lot of the buildings original doors with lettering still intact. Theres a massive safe that has been converted into an office, there are built in phone booths and hundreds of different sized work spaces made with glass panels that are half frosted to give some privacy. The cost to rent a space seemed pretty reasonable given the location.

Yes, it’s a very beautiful building, but it’s also an absolute accessibility nightmare for any disabled person, and the administrative staff (who are often condescending anyways) are unrepentant about that fact. They are completely indiscriminate about who they allow as members; unsavory characters are fine as long as the check clears. They are uninterested in real diversity, inclusion, or safety (you will often find homeless people wandering in and out of the building.)

Transformed old building for coworking space. Only visited the common space, has descent internet connection, good projector, couple of phone booth, one worth checking out. Plenty of tables and chairs.

While the spacious old halls can echo a bit, theres comfy couches and plenty of interesting people and ideas floating about. Regular meet up events engage the entrepreneur and creative community, and dogs are welcome at WeWork.

Really smart use of an iconic Portland building. I visited for a day, and found the space to have a ton of resources for independents and small business alike. Beer and coffee at the ready. Copy, scan and print services. Conference rooms. Im interested to see if they utilize the courtyard when the weather warms up. It seems like a decent value for people who would normally work from home, but cant afford a dedicated office, or want to be surrounded in a larger office environment. I imagine the cost for companies becomes less worthwhile when you get past a certain number

I would not recommend this facility for temporary office space. This is a very old building with high ceilings. It looks nice but the acoustics are horrible. Every morning the WeWork staff fill up the ice water dispenser from the ice machine and the noise is deafening in the work spaces. It sounds like a rock crusher. The individual work spaces have 4 walls and a door but it open on the top from 8 foot to the 12 foot ceiling. The noise from anyone or a loud discussion just bounces around the walls. The conference rooms have the same issues. They are all hard walls with tall ceilings. The audio for a conference call is almost unbearable.

Glad WeWork has been able to preserve the best features of such a beautiful building. The meeting rooms are old bank vaults.Like other WeWorks theres coffee, tea and a revolving set of beers on each floor. Rentable meeting rooms, podcast space, a photo studio, fast internet and a handful of fun/educational workshops throughout the week. Its a great option for small companies - but be warned, if you dont like dogs, noisy spaces and some occasional weirdness - this isnt the place for you.
