I had CenturyLink for many years. It seemed wonderful, until I had to move. At this point, I have been without internet (during a pandemic & working from home) for about a month. All calls to CenturyLink have consisted of being transferred multiple times, over the course of hours to people who ask the same questions and DO NOTHING but transfer me to another person who cannot solve my issue. This happened for multiple days in a row. Still no one could help, or knew of any of my previous interactions--I literally spent hours regurgitating the same information to different people scattered around the world. It should be a crime to waste peoples time so flagrantly as the people at Century Link have wasted my time over the past month. I have never felt so enraged by a company. Today, I was finally supposed to have a technician come out and install my fiber line, however I received a call that the road was blocked so he couldnt make it. After cancelling my services, he showed up. I will not be returning to CenturyLink. They had nice internet, BUT horrible customer service. The actual technicians are AMAZING, and the one star is for them. I hate giving my money to people/companies that do not respect their customers or their time.

Scheduled with centurylink a month in advance for install. Called four times in the previous week to confirm install for today 9am to 5pm. Got a robocall two days ago to confirm the install for today 9am to 5pmI work online. So I took the day from work to sit here for 9 hours waiting for this guy with no internet.I call at 4:30pm where is our guy?They say theyll get more information but hang up on me. I call back, they say theyll transfer me and call back if we get disconnected but hang up on me.I call back a 3rd time, by now its 5:30 pm and the installer has cancelled. I say why wasnt I notified? he says hell check, im put on hold, he then comes back and says the installer is coming to my house now.Installer is calling other line, so i switch over. Installer says well if i come now then ill be there at 6 and wont leave till 10. I say GREAT NEWS SEE YOU IN A HALF HOUR! Then he says oh i cant come today. that isnt gonna work for me so youre telling me ive now sat here for 10 hours waiting for you and you couldnt even f****** call me to tell me that youre not going to come.So the installer is going to come back tomorrow. And when he gets here im going to tell him no thanks, now get the f*** off my property.

There modem return is a straight up corporate scam to take money from anyone who leaves their service, hope somebody has the time and money to burn them someday.
