Equipment barely worked. We rented a 10kw generator and had to clean out all the hoses before we could get it to work properly. Just figuring out what was wrong with it took us 4 hours. Even after that it continued to shut off every 2 hours or so in which we had to continue to put in time/work to fix it. I asked multiple times if we could get some kind of reimbursement for the time we had to spend fixing it but the staff never got back to me . Im sure for the most part theyre a good company but I wont be renting from them again due to bad equipment and no communication back from staff.

Every bad costumer service, the guy in charge was very rude and unprofessional. After exchanging words he left and didn’t finish the job! They made a mistake and didn’t want to own it ended up paying more when it was there fault. Rented from this location multiple times and this is the first time I get treated like this. Honestly not going back!

I had a good experience here! Pretty straightforward, rented a rototiller to prepare my garden, returned it on time, everything was good! Ill be back if I need some other equipment for another future project!

Very poor experience. Rended pressure washer. Didnt work. Guy brought me rubber ring for the nozzel. Worked for a about 2 hours then back fired and wouldnt run again. When I took it back I was still charged 35.00. and had to listen to Fox False news while I was charged. I would never go to the business again.

Strong recommendation for this place. We took down a tree and needed to rent a log splitter... Multiple times in fact. Portland Rent All was reasonably priced, staff was friendly and knowledgeable over the phone, and the process was very smooth and relaxed even though I now have a metric butt ton of firewood. 👌

They dont maintain their equipment. We had the breaks lock up on a trailer rental, and had to disable the electronic brakes just to get home, which took a couple hours, and they still wanted to charge us for the delay.On the same trailer, we almost bagged the trip because the brake rotors were rusted almost beyond recognition (we should have stopped then!).We had also hopped to rent a walk-behind forklift, but its down because the batteries are shot.Ive rented that same exact trailer when it was newer, and things worked great, this place just doesnt seem to take care of their gear.They do have things that no one else in town carries, but if you rent from them, inspect it carefully and plan to be disappointed.

Its great to support a small local equipment rental shop as opposed to big box chains. The pricing was better than the big box chains too.

Ive rented various pieces of equipment over the last 10 plus years and each time has been a good experience. Most recently I bought a mini excavator from them. It being my first excavator I wasnt familiar with the operation and they had me bring it back so they could check it out for me. Nathan was patient with me as I was super excited to have the machine and kept bugging him. Thanks guys! I highly recommend them!

Ive rented stuff from many places as a contractor over the years, especially Home Depot. HD let me down big time when I rented a faulty piece of equipment and it did a ton of damage. For the same price or a little less I went with Portland Rent All and I was very pleased. It was hell the project I took on, cutting windows into a basement. Andrew was the guy that took care of me and he was very understanding, kind and seemed genuinely concerned. Ill definitely be going back to these guys again! Thanks Andrew!

Nice staff! I rented a box trailer for a week to go camping with the family. Uhaul wouldnt let me rent a trailer for more than 3 days.

Rented a flatbed trailer, On the way to pick up the load the axle Loosened up and almost fell off! When I contacted them and told them what happened they did not want to refund me on anything. I had to pay for a tow truck to tow the trailer back and pay a tow truck to tow my load. Worst place ever! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody!

This place is amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. They even have a weekly rental price! Weve already done business with them several times so evidently we will be going back!

I went here to rent equipment for moving a piano. In the course of talking with the helpful staff they pointed me to superior tools for the job than what I had envisioned. I would have failed at my mission without their wisdom and am eternally grateful. At a great price too! Their ramp was less than half what the competition offered. Highly recommend

I recently visited the store and rented chairs, tables and table cloths for a July 4th wedding event at my home. Carol assisted me and she was very helpful with my needs.With the unpredictable Oregon weather I inquired about tent prices if the weather was poor. Carol said she would note a rain clause on my quote and explained at the time of delivery if I decided I wanted the $300+ tent great. If I decided not to use the tent there would be a 25% fee due to the fact that they would not be able to rent the tent. I agreed.Due to some unfortunate circumstances the event was canceled. Today, 6 full weeks to the event when I called to cancel I was informed by Carol that policy states that I will still be charged the $80 fee. I feel that 6 weeks is enough notice to cancel and gives the store plenty of time to rent the tent. I would like to get a response. Thanks

I have been going to this rental company for over a year now. They are ok in my book decent 👍 rates and they open early

First off these guys tried renting us a drum sander that had broken and messed up wheels on it. Then they rented us a different one that wouldnt sand right at all and left whats called extremely bad chatter lines all over. Took it right back just to have them try telling us that it works just fine and that they used it one time to sand a floor. When you have a customer that has been doing a skilled trade for over 18yrs you dont talk to them like they dont know what there talking about... plus they said in the being that theres no deposit they just hold your card and charge it when you are done .. complete lies because after returning the sander after an hour we found out they already changed $120 to our card and said we wont get it back for 4days to a week.. will never go back there for anything and will tell all the other trades I know about it..

These guys are top notch when it comes to equipment rental. I almost rented some equipment at a certain big orange box store across the street once and then I decided to drive over to this place. The customer service and pricing was superior at Portland Rent All. These guys know their equipment in and out and have a much more specialized knowledge than the big chains. If they carry it, rent it here.

Very unprofessional service. I rented a man lift from Portland Rent All for the day (24 hours), and the salesman informed me that Id need to return the lift by closing time that day since it was reserved for the next morning, which I agreed too. At that time the salesman only charged me the 4 hour rate since I wasnt allowed to keep it for a full day (24 hours). When I returned the lift another salesman helped me an insisted on charging me the day rate. When I complained the other salesman got Oscar the original salesman to address my concerns. However, Oscar grew angry at my challenging him on the reduced rate until the other salesman left the room, at which time Oscar commented that hed have given me the lower rate if the other salesman hadnt intervened. I couldnt believe what I had just heard. If you like to deal with professionals that have integrity go elsewhere.

I dont usually write reviews but when I call Portland Rental All asking to rent the 22ft Deckover trailer I saw online, Nathan told me that if I wanted a smaller one I could talk to Lewis Rental. I only needed a 12ft trailer and sure enough Lewis Rental had it. Saved me $35 and the hassle of a bigger trailer. I did not become his customer but that is the customer service that will have me call Nathan at Portland Rental All first again.

Odd neighborhood rental place. Not near me but the only place I could find a drop bed trailer. Make sure to check out the equipment before you leave. Not the best maintenance on items I rented.
