These guys are awesome! My four year old started clicking on things on my laptop and next thing I know my computer is locked up with a screen blaring at me telling me to call some 800 number. I called and they told me it was a well known virus and to bring it in. The next day it was ready and the price was very reasonable. They are life savers, I wouldnt call anyone else!

Called them about an issue with my laptops fan. On start, a message appeared that the fan was malfunctioning. I mentioned that fact in my initial contact with them, yet they failed to act on it. Was that because they were under the impression that I was not intelligent enough to know what I was talking about? Or perhaps a feeble old woman? Maybe replacing a fan wouldnt pay that well? In any event, I have ordered a fan and will replace it myself. Received an email from them; claimed they didnt receive the message on the laptop. Well, that just returns to the was that because scenarios. The fan was less than $30, so I guess that answers the profit question. They did do some work for over $300, but not what was needed.UPDATE 7/15/20: Purchased new fan. Opened up laptop and they HAD NOT CHECKED THE FAN AT ALL. It was caked with dust. All it needed was a cleaning. THEY NEVER LOOKED AT IT!!!On top of that, they kept an old laptop without asking if they could. Not cool!!!

I recently spilled a drink on my new Macbook Pro. It definitely fried everything in my computer, beyond repair, except for my hard drive. So, I turned to Peoples Geek for help in retrieving my data. They were awesome. They took the computer apart to evaluate the situation and tried everything to get a device to save the data including calling their competition for suggestions. The thing is, Apple is super proprietary about everything. Apple basically made this task impossible to do. So, yes, the story sadly didnt end well for me. Peoples Geek solved problems with my desktop PC and provided great customer service. This PC started as Windows 8.1, had multiple upgrades to Windows 10 and has issues with apps/utilities not functioning at each stage. Josh and Ben from The Peoples Geek saved me hundreds if not thousands of hours in lost data and work by recovering files from my fried hard drives, as in THREE hard drives. My internal hard drive and my two external backup hard drives all failed in two weeks. Without the Time Machine and Carbonite backup that they installed and the work they did recovering data from the fried drive, I would have been out of luck. I got back 99% of my files, my emails, fonts, and contacts. They installed the software on my computer, taught me how to manage it, and stepped me through the recovery process. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I am very indebted to them and highly recommend them.

I had made an awful mess of my 27 iMac trying to revert to Mavericks from El Capitan, because after installing the latter, my printers were acting up. Because of that experience, I just had him install 2 new printers for me--its not like it used to be--there is a lot lot more to installing now--firmware, WPS, all kinds of things that will drain your mind!
