We have taken two trips in July in Portland and had a great time. The dock crew is awesome and give good clear directions on how to operate the boat. The boats are clean and comfortable and seat 6 comfortably. As it’s electric, you don’t have the power that you have with a gas powered engine so you have to be aware of other big boats going by that cause wakes. We steered it bro the wakes so they didn’t rock the boat as much. The quietness of the motor, ans lack of smell, was really nice.

What a lovely evening we had cruising the river! The boat was immaculate, and the zip up windows are really clear and clean (and kept us warm). The guys had it all cleaned up and ready for us and were watching out for us the whole time. We will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed the 2 hour ride across the beautiful bridges of Portland. Very easy to navigate even for first timers. Friendly staff and clean boat provided us comfort. Pricing a little on the higher side.Will definitely go back.

Great, relaxing time exploring the city from the river. Plenty of room on the boat for a group. Bring a snack as it has cup holders and a table. Very clean and very fun!

Quiet and relaxing trip around the Portland area. We had 9 on board and had plenty of space. We packed our dinner along and enjoyed the river views while we ate and visited. Slow boat that anyone could drive.

We had a great day out on the river with these boats. Really easy booking process, friendly staff, and the shaded boats were perfect for a couple hours on the water. We had a busy weekend with a group of friends in town and this was definitely the highlight. Will definitely be booking with them again!

Everything about this experience was awesome! We went for fathers day.. They were really friendly and the boats were REALLY nice! I 100% recommend this to anyone, AND I absolutely plan to bring more of my family and friends back!!

My friends and I had a great time with PDX Electric Boat Company! We had a quick training for our captain before we headed out and the instructions were concise and very easy to follow. They provided a map with time approximations for how far we could go and when we should turn back. We will definitely recommend them to all our friends!

We rented an electric boat for 3 hours last weekend. It was a lot of fun. We had a total of 6 adults. It was fun taking a self guided tour of Portlands bridges while we dined on a fancy picnic. :-)

Terrible company be aware.... charged my credit card 28 days after my trip saying that I broke a prop.... apparently their plastic props break when their OWN EMPLOYEES RAM THE BOAT AGAINST THE DOCK ON THE PRE TRIP. Merchant gave me the wrong phone number to contact them after the fact. He will respond to google but not your phone calls. He emailed me after posting this reviewAaron I have both professional and personal boundaries. You crossed them this morning. Do not try that again. Never have I ever had an owner of a company threaten me.STAY AWAY!!!

Excellent experience! $125/hr with a two hour minimum and it’s absolutely worth it. The boat is easy to drive, spacious, and takes the wakes well. It was a little confusing getting to the boat. The owners meet you at the top of the marina ramp, you sign some paperwork, and then do a quick driving orientation. Perfect sunny day activity!

Chris the owner is a great guy, the boats are clean and safe and it was more fun than we thought it would be. Definitely will do it again!

Great folks and great experience. We rented a boat for 2 hours on July 4th. It was $125/he with a 2hr minimum. While we definitely enjoyed every bit of the 2 hours, I think we all could have done 2 more considering how great he weather was.Communication was consistent and smooth from beginning to end.The safety walkthrough was reasonably quick while being thorough. I had never driven a boat before and with some great instruction by one of the owners, we were sailing within 5 minutes of getting on the boat.The boat can seat 10 comfortably even with a cooler under the table. The cover on the top is particularly nice for a sunny day.They dont go fast, but for a nice cruise up and down the river, its a great use of funds and time.

Booked a boat for our bachelorette group and we thoroughly enjoyed it. They were very nice about accomading our group for a time that worked for our schedule. Even if you’ve never had any experience sailing a boat, they teach you well and help you dock the boat. We all visited from out of town so we grabbed a cooler and drinks from the downtown target, which is ~10 Lyft away from the dock! Definitely a fun way to spend the afternoon out on the river.

We rented this for my Wifes Birthday and it was a blast!
