We strode up and requested the 2 seater for half-a-day. The friendly guy who checked us in commented that most people dont make the first hour, we laughed. We told him wed go for 4 hours...he told us hed charge us for 1 and if we want to stay out longer hed settle up when we come back. Thats fine, we thought. We lasted 39 minutes. Good call. EXCELLENT service and great fun!

You can rent 4-person bikes next to the waterfront. So beautiful to ride and for only $36 an hour. Great fun for a family! There are also extra seats for younger children. Although ages 7-9 might be a weird in between stage where they are too big for the kid seat but too small for the adult seat. We made it work for my 7-year-old cousin though but seats were bit small and she is very healthy seven year old.

Our family had fun doing the tourist thing on the waterfront. The staff was efficient and very pleasant. . Our take-out came without utensils and he lent us his personal forks. What a nice thing to do! Wish Id had $ for a tip...a thank you to the strawberry blond good guy will have to do😃

The only spot to get a bike for riding and consider that all profits are sent to the Albertina Kerr foundation that cares for adults and young people with developmental disabilities. So, when you have to put up with the attitude of the teller, remember this. :)It costs $35 to rent a double surrey for 6 adults (that fits 4 only, or 6 extremely skinny).... If you just go with your significant other, the $25 two-adult surrey is the way to go.All the gear is well taken care of and you can buy a snack there if you feel exhausted after riding... Soft drinks, ice cream, popsicles, and chips.You can also fix your bicycle here for free, which is nice. If you bring your bike, you can park for $5 all day ($4 on Sunday) at the World Trade Centers parking lot

What a great idea! The waterfront is so perfect for bike riding and then Kerr Bikes pops up and we have options for renting bikes we can all share. I love the canopy bikes the best. And the prices are so affordable. Best thing? I know we are helping people with developmental disabilities when we rent because the whole operation is a fundraising arm of Albertina Kerr Centers.

Went with a bunch of friends for my birthday. What a blast! 6 of us fit on one bike. We went to Saturday Market and looped around the East Side Esplanade. No better way to see the city.

I got a flat tire on my way home from work. This shop stayed open to help me out in a pinch. Great business and great people. Thanks!

Kerr Bikes supports the Albertina Kerr Foundation here in Portland. Their rental rates are comparable to private shops. My only complaint was my bike had only 7 gears, but it was a good ride with a padlock and helmet included.

Always good experience with these business, bikes well maintain and good service.Im giving 4 starts because on 1/28/18 we found the waterfront shop close even we checked the web site business hours.

Quality of the bikes is not good, but the main issue is that they are not well maintained. Far better option are the Biketown bike stations all around town.

Not open during rainy days we came and nothing was open when the website said it was

They lost my drivers license. Found itthe next day.
