My husband and I rented mountain bikes and were very pleased! The customer service was very genuine and positive overall. The worker even helped us put on our bike rack, put on the bikes, let us test ride, and ask us if we needed any recommendations on where to go riding :)We also had to return our helmets the day after they were due, with no issues!Bikes were also very good for the rental price!! Excellent customer service! I took one of their 29er hardtail Haro bikes out for a few nights bikepacking and it was perfect. Did that thing have a motor? It flew up the hills! Perfect gearing and no mechanical issues. Cant wait for my next trip to the PNW.

My cousin came to town and wanted to check out Gateway Green, we dropped in to Everybodys Bike Rentals, Ryan and Jonathan set cousin up with a KILLER Fuji Bighorn hardtail. Dont convince yourself the hardtail option isnt a quality bike! The big horn came with a SRAM eagle build, Teatro hydraulic brakes, and a buttery smooth 150mm dropper. The Bighorns modern trail geometry with short chain/sest stays is INCREDIBLE. If I could give a 6/5 I would!

My brother and I Went to Oregon for a week to do some camping and decided to rent two mountain bikes while out there. Found this place online and I am very happy I did! We rented two of the Haro Hardtail Mountain Bikes and they were Amazing! They shifted great and it only took a little work to go a long ways. On top of that I believe his name was Jack( will update the name once confirmed) provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help us out. This is our 3rd time with Everybodys Bike Rentals. The last time we used EBRT, our girls graduated the 8th grade. Now were back after they graduated high school. It was another super duper experience with the EBRT crew. From Mechanic Ryans bike-outfitting to Tour Guide Briannas informative Beyond Portlandia Tour, it made our trip even more memorable. Wow, what a great way to see the city. My husband and I had a great time on our tour. Our guide was extremely patient and turned into a total badass when my husbands bike got a flat tire. We saw so many different sites and parks we wouldnt have otherwise if we didnt take this tour. It was so fun to learn about the community of Portland. Their shop has a great set-up and a huge selection of bikes to chose from. The entire staff is patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband and I havent ridden bikes since we were kids so we were a little shy about starting and it took a huge amount of pressure off us when they were having just as much fun helping us as we were just being there. I even got two free stickers when we left. I would HIGHLY suggest anyone taking this tour. Even if you live in Portland or just visiting it really is one of the most fun and unique ways to tour the city without feeling like youre a tourist. It made me want to move to Portland. Id definitely go on another tour in a heartbeat.

I had rented a bike for a few days during my stay in Portland (first timer) to get around the city. I had called and spoken with a gentleman named Dan who had told me to swing by the shop. The location was situated quite well and was really easy to find, and in no time at all Dan had set me up on a City Comfort bike that was pretty well set up. He relayed all of the information I needed to know (locking up, taking the lights on and off, how to change the gears) and was able to do some quick adjustments to better help with some pains I had been experiencing that day. The bike was economical and affordable, and was extremely reliable for my needs to get around the city. He was even sure to give me a pamphlet, and although I was a little reluctant to take it, I had actually used a couple of the recommended spots to see on it, so it proved to be quite useful. All together, a great experience and I would not hesitate to rent a bike from this shop again. Thanks for the awesome, friendly service!

These guys were great. I got a solid bike, which fit my needs at a really reasonable price for three days. I really took advantage of it and rode to a number of breweries and restaurants with my brother-in-law (safely at all times!). And it was great to be able to bop into downtown Portland and back from the Mississippi District within about 15 minutes and back. I was able to hit up Powells and some other great Portland locations without needing a car at all. Theyll fit you for the bike. Comes with a helmet, lights and lock, so youre all good to go.

I took a great group tour - Beyond Portlandia - that really showed me a lot of areas of NE Portland that I wouldnt have found on my own. Good guides, squishy comfort bikes, and an easy pace for my slower family member. A few days later I rented a high-end carbon road bike from them. It wasnt brand new, but was in great condition and rode very well. They took the time to get the sizing right, with adjustments not just to the seat but also the handlebars and stem orientation. They gave me easy directions to a really nice cycling area, and I had a great and comfortable day on their bike in the hills. Ill rent from them again, and Ill seek their advice again on where to ride. Great shop!

We had a great time with Dan exploring my new city! As a local now living in South East Portland, I was eager to discover niche neighborhoods in North/North East Portland and learn about the history of the community beyond traditional downtown tours. Our tour included one other couple, which gave us plenty of time for conversation and questions and Dan even extended our bike tour a half hour so we were able to take our time at each of the stops. We were disappointed with our experience. BUYERS BEWARE: if stolen back tire you are liable, 80 dollars. Unfortunatley front desk personnel gave impression (upon probing question): We asked what happens when stolen? Desk personnel responded we have never had anything stolen that was locked properly. The locks provided do not ensure safety of back tire. What they failed to tell us, if back tire is stolen we are responsible. We were wondering why they remarked, never had anything stolen. Given correct information, we would have return bikes in the evening, given back tire is very liable. Apparently it is in the contract we signed. Whole scenario came as a shock, given how they set us up for a rosey reality! Upon calling shop, we were surprised by their lack of integrity for their spoken word.

Wonderful people and wonderful bikes. They even throw in bike lights and a sturdy u-lock for your two-wheeled journeys! I highly recommend.

Great bikes!! We did a tour which includes rentals for 24hrs. We took the bikes for the day before the tour and got almost 35 miles out of them with zero problems. It ended up being a great deal since the rental includes everything you need (even rain gear!), whereas the streetside ones are around half the price but the bikes are subpar and dont include helmets or locks. Overall great service, tour was fun, and we will highly recommend to friends or family visiting

Very disappointed with this place. I reserved a bike for my visit to Portland. I had to pay in full when I reserved it. Unfortunately I became very sick and had to cancel my trip. I called to cancel the reservation and asked for a refund. I was told that since I hadn’t cancelled at least 48 hours in advance that they were unable to give me a refund. Rude!

Came into town for a conference and I was so glad to find Everybodys Bike Rentals. I rented an awesome Bridgestone steel frame road bike that fit me perfect. The rental came with front and back lights as well as a U-lock. Really nice frames and components in small sizes. Hope to rent from them again next time Im in town. PDX is made for biking! So happy I didnt rent a car instead.
