This is our neighborhood tire shop and staff treat us like great neighbors...not just next in line. Friendly, reasonably priced, accommodating, clean and hospitable waiting area and, of course, excellent work. Overall, great place to do business. I prefer parkrose point S over other competitors for the sensible and friendly customer service.

I had gone to Les Schwab on Mill Plain Avenue for my vehicle’s needs but the last time I went there the service guy lied to me about what was needed for my truck. So I went to Brown’s and they were honest with me and have been every time I’ve needed services. It is becoming more and more rare for honest workmanship these days but Browns has and continues to deliver high quality work and integrity. I don’t take my vehicle s anywhere else.

The people working were polite and professional. They sold me a warranty without mentioning that I was buying it, which I didnt love. Im not sure if thats customary in the industry or not. Even so, the warranty seems to be a reasonable value so Im glad to have it.

I called for tires they did not have and they had me in by the next morning with my tires ready to go. Being my main work truck for my landscaping company it was a blessing to have such a quick and painless process. They also completed an alignment on my duramax and it rides smoother and straighter then ever before. Big thank you to Kelly and the guys at browns point s tires. You guys run a tight ship!

I had a leaking tire and got in the same day during the worst of the smoke in the air and the shop was closing early to respect the employees. I was helped in good time and the tire repair was done by the time expected. The price was very fair and much cheaper that Jiffy Lube, Les Schwab, or a private auto shop.

This is the only place I trust with my car! They always do a great job and make sure you are in the best of hands!

My father Darnell Lucas. Has been going to s point trying to get a noise fix in his car. He has had shocks replace with new ones. Motor mount changed. Ball points changed. Bought new tires. 2 out of the 4 new tires he bought had to be replaced and even though theres a warranty on everything they work on for you. They still charged him an additional $100 for fix 2 of the tires he just bought.The list goes on. He has spent over $5000 and one of his tires wiggles over the speed of 65MPH and he still has the knock noise.Extremely disappointed with the investment with a point.

I went into Point S at Parkrose today, because I had a tire light on and many different lights activated on my dash. I was provided prompt service and I was treated with respect and problems with my car were explained in detail. I was impressed with the mechanic, Adam, who came out to the lobby to speak to me personally. He answered many questions for me and explained the concerns with my car in language that I could understand. He assured me that my car was safe to drive. Adam provided amazing customer service. Give this man a raise.

Easily the best experiences Ive had for tire shops in Portland. Knowledgeable and friendly people doing good work. When my car needs tires, alignment, etc... I know itll be done right.

I got an alignment done here a week ago. Well they did the alignment and thats it. They said everything was good. Turns out I need outter tie rods. I had to firgure this out myself. Their website states that if you need any alignment parts or if they are worn out they would let me know. I feel they have no concern for my safety. How do you align a car without noticing it needs tie rods? I went here because of all the amazing reviews. Im very disappointed.

Ive been getting my tires and wheels here for years, back when it was Bob Brown Tires.( Some of the same employees are still there ) Recently priced out custom rims for my 68 Firebird and they were extremely fair on the quote, but there service is top notch which is way worth any price difference from their competitors.

The service they provided was prompt and efficient. I was quite pleased. We called Browns Parkrose Point S Tires and they scheduled us right away. We brought the car in at 8am and were out of there by 11am. Great service, great fix and great timing. I highly recommend them if you want it done right and in a timely manner and at a fair price.

My daughter was having problems with one of the air pressure sensors and I didn’t have time to look at it. I sent her to Browns and they took great care of her. Fixed the issue and sent her on her way! Great service and a great team. That’s why I go to them with all of my vehicles.

Ive been here twice, and the customer service is outstanding. Theyre fast, and do a great job. I had a low tire pressure warning light, and the technician did the dunk test and didnt find a leak, so he took the tire off the rim to check the inside of the tire. Found nothing, so he remounted the tire, aired it up, reset the TPMS, AND CHARGED ME NOTHING! When I need tires, Im coming here. These folks are great.

I needed to check my front brakes and was removing lug nuts on the right front wheel when two of the four studs twisted off. I immediately called Brown’s to see if they could replace them. They were extremely busy, but were able to squeeze my car in and had it ready by 3:30p. I really appreciate their willingness and great attitude to get me going. Thanks for their help and reasonable charges.

Excellent service! They have the best prices in town and quick turnaround! They took care of me - from needing new tires and wheels. Thru also replaced my alternator that ended up being dead. I’m thankful I found them. I highly recommend this establishment!

Theyre honest, polite, efficient and respectful. When I needed new tires they showed me the cracks in the old rubber and even let me know which ones were fine. Also, when WalMart cross-threaded my oil cap after an oil change they replaced the damaged cap, showed me how WalMart ruined it, for super cheap.

Great Service. Easy to communicate with over the phone and set up my appointment. Dropped the car off for a quick fix along with an oil change. Had the car back in about an hours time. I work close by so I did not sit and wait but if you did they have a comfortable sitting area with magazines and a TV. Would recommend! Will be doing business with them again in the future.

Where to start.? Ive been doing business there 20 some years, I never have had a bad experience. From thechoice of many brands of tires totheir outstanding service. Recently I needed a battery for a large V8 powered vehicle. Searched all over this city for a battery like l yuste to buy. IE. one witha warranty of 85 month. There all nowlowered to 36 months around the city. Not Browns Parkrose shop, they still sell real 85 month long term no maintenance batteries. I am again very pleased with this shop. In all the years, of multiple different services or repairs I have never had to return to this shopfor a come back. Things were repairedcorrectly the first time.Alan RohrPortland Oregon

We have been going to Bob Brown Tires for a decade or more for our tire needs. Recently we got 4 brand new tires for our Escalade, which were not cheap, over $1000. A few days later, one looked a little flat, so we took it in. Apparently the tube had been installed wrong and needed to be fixed. They did fix this for free, but it was a little alarming it had been done wrong to begin with.A week later, I took my car in for 4 new tires which was close to $700. The tire light was on immediately upon leaving. They stated it was a dead sensor and would be $240 to replace all 4 sensors. I chose not to replace the sensors since they said the tires were fine, just a faulty sensor. 2 weeks later, I had a flat. They said since I didnt get the extended warranty only the basic warranty, this flat wasnt covered and Id need to buy an entirely new tire. After 2 weeks!!!!!!Im a little sad, because this place I once trusted has completely lost my trust. I will need to find a new tire shop. I find it upsetting after buying 8 new tires here, both cars had problems, and my tire only lasted 2 weeks before it went flat, and they basically said tough luck.The crew there have always been nice and welcoming, but when I drop nearly $2k on a store in a month, I dont expect to have a flat tire that same month.Im not sure if changing hands or name had anything to do with it, but I would be weary of the work and the customer service here at this point.

Ive been going to Browns for years, and theyre consistently courteous, and as fast as they can manage to be. My most recent visit, they fixed a slow leak in a tire on a vehicle Id never brought to them before, and not only was it quick, but they refused to charge me for it. Its things like that that keep me coming back!

Called them to confirm theyd swap around tires and monitoring units. Dropped in on a Saturday and they had it done in a little less than 3 hours for a good price. They saved me money by reccomending I not balance. Everything is great.

These guys were fast and friendly. I do love the popcorn machine they have. My girls and I ate like 3 bags until we felt guilty of eating too much. Next time 4 bags. They honored a coupon to rotate my tires and change my oil. Great price. I will now be taking my Infiniti there from now on and add my Kia to the oil change lineup.

Very nice staff, pleasant and professional. Went for my Lyft certification and they took care of me with no issues in a timely manner.Only thing I was surprised at was the fact that we now have to pay $14.95 for the certification. No fault of Browns though, they said Lyft had just instituted it a few weeks earlier. Prior to today, Lyft had covered the fee.

I recently took my older Dodge Dakota pickup in for an alignment check. I had Browns Point S put new tires on it and hadnt had an alignment for some time. I left it there. They checked it and it needed an alignment so they did one. It was ready within a couple of hours.I have done business with Bob Brown Tires since I was a teenager, (which means since 1973?). They have alway served me and my family well! I love their Cooper Winter snowflake tires. We have used them for years on different vehicles for skiing and winter driving. I always appreciate that I can trust the folks at Brown’s to take care of my wife’s car just like family. The showroom is clean & comfortable, the work is done in a timely fashion & the prices are always reasonable. This is my “forever” tire & front end store! I did prefer the clean-shaven look that they used to have in the “olden-days”, though.

In response to your response to Gene Kelley’s review you might want to rethink your 4/32” assertion. State of Oregon legal requirement is 2/32” which coincidentally is the same depth every tire manufacturer puts the wear bar depth.And don’t even try making the argument that the tread is measured to the wear bars, because it’s not. It’s measured to the bottom of the tread groove as per federal law noted in the second picture in this review.

Went for an oil change and tire rotation. They got to my car right on time. There is a comfortable waiting room with complementary water bottles. The bathroom was spotless. The smell of rubber is a bit overpowering but the service was excellent. I will continue using them.
