CARSTAR did a terrific job with my Honda Element after my catalytic converter was stolen. They fixed my key cylinder which had been tampered with and installed a catalytic converter shield for me very quickly. To my surprise, they also cleaned my car! Really did not expect my experience with a body shop to be so painless. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They communicated with my insurance and the rental company so I really didnt have to do anything. All in all a surprisingly pleasant experience and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

I was in an accident which totalled my car. BUT... Before my car was totalled, the staff at Bob Thomas CARStar assisted me in getting the vehicle towed to their shop, took time to call the rental agency and drove me to pick up the rental, and everyone was super friendly and very helpful in walking me through the steps of how to deal with the loss of my car. My car was smashed by a tree during the Labor Day windstorm. The entire trunk/spoiler/and more were badly damaged. My insurance company recommended this shop (which made me nervous), but based on reviews, I decided to go for it. Im very glad I did. Stephen Marshall was absolutely great to work with: hes professional, respectful, and personable as well. He understood the importance of this car to me, and worked with my insurance company to get the work done, and done really well. Communications were timely, accurate, and I couldnt be happier. Recently used Bob Thomas Carstar to fix a dent and some scratches in the front end of my CRV. They were kind, professional, flexible, and fixed my vehicle within the timeframe they provided. They handled all of the insurance and gave me a ride home after dropping the vehicle off. The car looks fantastic after the work they did - looks brand new. Will use them in the future for any of my car related needs.

This shop is phenomenal. They kept me in the loop throughout the repair process. Stephen went above and beyond (shout out to you if you see this! Haha). He went totally out of his way as they noticed some other issues with my car and ordered extra parts + did extra repairs after I gave the go ahead. Top notch service and I saved money in the long run with them already working on my car and doing the extra fixes. I cant recommend this shop enough.

My car was side swiped and had damage all down one side of it. When the people working at Carstar learned I would be happier if the car wasnt totaled (older car, but low mileage), they worked to replace what was necessary. They put in the effort to polish and paint over the surface damage so that the car wasnt totaled. I appreciate that concern for the customers satisfaction. The repair they did to the body and the paint job looks great.It was also finished sooner than they told me. I was grateful to have it back sooner than I expected. They also did a great job of explaining what they were doing and walking me through the process.

Pros: the body work is excellent. The cost appears to be fair. Excellent cleaning interior other than the mirror damage.Cons: 1.poor communication. I had asked the contact female Stacy to text me as I have. Robo call blocker on my phone. I made calls to car star over2 weeks but they never texted me. On the day it was to be ready for pickup I again reaffirmed I need a text rather than a call. That was Fri. Now Monday I call again and am told Stacy called me Fri. No text. The car was ready on Fri. I went and picked it up this am.2. My mirror is damaged. It appears perhaps a cleaning chemical got on the mirror and some areas where should be mirror are black. I have not contacted them as yet, however I will do so, as I am not hopeful they will contact me.

Highly recommend. I usually go to the ford dealership for work on my Fusion. My insurance sent me here for an estimate on the heated rear view that was smashed in a hit and run. Their estimate was below my deductible. After the work was quickly done and it looks great, they billed me 20% less than they had quoted because it was a quicker job then estimated. I’m having any body work done with these sensible and professional experts in the future. Plus the customer service was great!

After some dingbat (who took full responsibility) hit my wife who was driving a 2018 Subaru Outback, Bob Thomas Carstar made it all better. The “fixed by” date turned out to be accurate and you could subscribe to email updates to learn of progress on your car. Bob Thomas worked easily/seamlessly w the other drivers insurance. Jeff Smith, on their staff, was super helpful and accurate in his predictions.The end result was superb. Also, I felt completely safe w their Covid-19 precautions during the two times I needed to go to their location. Nobody wants to go to a car repair shop, but Bob Thomas Carstar is the place to go to if you have to!

Recently took my 2010 Highlander in for body work. The service I received was excellent. It started with Karen, who greeted me at the front counter and assisted me with filling out the paper work and then with Katie who provided me with the estimate. Katie then did a great job with keeping inform of how the repairs were going. I feel they did a great job with the repairs and felt the price they charged was very reasonable. In addition, upon picking up my vehicle I discovered they had even done some what of a mini detail on my vehicle. So again, I couldnt have been happier with the service they provided .

This was my first time ever taking my car into a shop and it was the smoothest process ever, the people there are so friendly and helpful, and they went beyond my expectations on my car, not only did they fix the dent/scratch but they gave my car a makeover, and when I had a schedule conflict with work on when I’d be able to pick my car up and they offered to stay open later just to be able to get me my car, I’m so happy i went to them.

Our insurance sent us here, and they handled all the payment so I cant speak much to that. The job seemed to be well done. Parts came in late so our car was in the shop an extra week or so, and no one called us to let us know the progress of that, which was a tad annoying, but overall pretty satisfied as our smashed in bumper looks brand new, and they gave us some extra paint they had left over in our car color in case we needed it for touch ups.

Took my van in after being rear ended. Courtney answered all my questions and made the estimate process easy. Once I brought it in for the actual repair, I got texts every day updating me on findings and progress. When they discovered damage inside, they took care of extending my rental car and called to explain what they had found. It was even done a bit early too. When I picked it up, both the inside and outside were spotless. My friend was just rear ended last week. You can probably guess where I told her to take it.

Used this Carstar location in the past, and they did really good work. They also completed the repair in a timely fashion. Would suggest them for body work.

Very professional people and was done faster than I expected

I personally was helped by Karen and Randy for my collision repairs. There was a few bumps in the road due to the at fault drivers insurance company. However, it had nothing to do with Karen or Randy and they did the best they could to smooth out my experience. My car was also a mess when I dropped it off. But when it was returned to me, they vacuumed and wiped down the interior so well that everyone thought my car was brand new off the lot lol. I hope I dont have another accident, but if I do, I know exactly where to go!! Thanks so much for helping me!!!

Oregon Mutual arranged for this company to fix my car. The very first time I was there I asked a someone if one of the bays was where I should park for an estimate. They were extremely rude but ultimately I did get it figured out and got an estimate done. When I later tried to schedule a time to have the car repaired I was first told theyd need to check for parts availability and would call me back. They never did and when I followed up they tried to schedule me two weeks out without ever looking up the car or what was needed. I had a bit of back and forth with another rude person and ultimately told them Id find a different shop. Cant say if the work they perform is any good because they are to rude/incompetent to schedule the repair.

My name is Zach and recently I was involved in a Hit and Run accident in my brand new truck. After getting bad news that the vehicle that hit me wasnt going to be found, I was also told that I had a $300 deductible to pay and in the back of my head was the fact that my vehicle has now depreciated because it has a carax under 15,000 miles. I chose Bob Thomas Carstar hoping that some if not all of my problems would be be handled. My vehicle was painted beautifully, parts were replaced and repaired flawlessly, and the truck was even detailed to look brand new. A few problems arose including one of the headlights replaced started to show signs of condensation on the inside, there was a few small pieces of tape on the truck that I didnt notice when I picked it up and there was no windshield wipers on the truck when I picked it up. Small problems that were overlooked when the truck was going through Final inspection. I called Bob Thomas and talked to Katie who is an amazing, organized woman who will fix all of your problems, later I received a call from Jeff the Owner of Bob Thomas who told me that he was going to do whatever he could to make the fixes easier on me. Jeff organized a rental for me, picked up my vehicle and personally took time out of his day to help me get my car fixed. Upon returning the rental vehicle which went flawlessly thanks to Jeff and his Wife Karen. When I got my truck back not only was every concern of mine taken care of, the truck was cleaned, and damage from another incident from 4 months ago was polished buffed and waxed. The professionalism portrayed by this business, their owners and their high caliber employees is what other businesses should strive for. If I ever have any fixes that need to be taken care of on my other vehicles I will make Bob Thomas my first choice. This is not a company that will treat you like a customer. Bob Thomas carstar employees, Owners Jeff and Karen and the extravagant employees who took care of my vehicle treated me like family, made this hard time easier and I will be recommending them to friends and family for as long as im around.
