Scheduled an appointment to tour the place, got there early and waited till after appointed time. No one shows up. And the strange thing is, you just press 000, the door will open after a few rings. It got me thinking how well the security will be if I decide to live here. No thanks.

The apartment is fine if you are okay with thin walls, cheap floors, tiny kitchens, and no storage.Management and security are the real issue. The bike room has been broken into and a bunch of bikes were stolen. There has been multiple car break-ins both out front and in the parking lots. When the snow storm happened in February 2021, we lost power which made all of the door locks not work so doors were taped and propped open. Management never came to check in or de-ice or even send an email about it. There are barely any back up lights so when the power was out, you were walking through pitch black halls.Management is a mess. It takes months to get maintenance projects done. When covid hit, they checked out. Never saw them, never heard from them, nothing. They took 4 months to figure out how much rent I should be getting charge (missing utilities, forgetting parking). Nothing gets done here unless you ask repeatedly.THIS PLACE IS A DISASTER. Also they way overcharge for the area. They apparently follow market rates. Not sure which market though because if you check any other building in the area you can get the same thing for about $300 less. SKIP THIS PLACE. DONT LOOK AT IT. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM.

Every thing done real cheap and if it i was running that job and i would make them tear out and redo it and most of the newer apartment in portland are build cheap

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN LOOK INTO THIS APARTMENT BUILDING! Looks great from the outside and thats the ONLY positive thing. First of all, we were tricked into sending in a NON REFUNDABLE deposit for a junior 1 bedroom when we specifically asked their incompetent management team over the phone and email that we were looking for a TRUE one bed and they refused to send us a floorplan at least to get an idea before signing on. I had no choice but to take the risk as my lease had ended and i was staying with parents for a couple weeks so if you’re in a rush for housing do not count on these people to be honest or helpful in anyway. Once we moved in we quickly realized how cheaply made this entire building is. For $1300/month you too can have poor ventilation, the thinnest walls on earth (i can hear all my neighbors on all sides left, right, above and below!), everything will start falling apart my boyfriend and i joke that you could simply breathe on this building and everything will crumble except for the DANGEROUSLY HEAVY SPRING LOADED FRONT DOORS. I almost lost my big toe to my own apartment door! If you live on the side of the building facing morrison be ready to be terrorized by a household in that neighborhood who allow their kids to jump on the trampoline screaming at the top of their lungs all day long. Their mother i assume also homeschools them in her backyard and we have to listen to the ugliest high pitched voice from 9am-3pm even with windows closed. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON TRYING TO GET STUFF REPAIRED! They will respond to your email but wont show up to fix for weeks or months without gentle harassment. Just take a look inside the apartment and you will see that it was constructed and is currently run by a bunch of stoners with no vision or care for their fellow humans in need of peaceful, functional housing.

If Google would allow me to make this review zero stars I would. This is an awful place run by disgusting NEW Portland developers. You should never rent from this company (Apartment 5). They didnt have the building even close to done when they started renting it. They didnt have the amenities finished for 5 months after we moved in and they turned out to be sub par at best. This place was thrown together and rented at premium rates for an already premium neighborhood. They promised it would be sound proof and I could hear my neighbors brushing their teeth. They promised a vent for upstairs air conditioning and it wasnt installed when we moved in. Despite countless requests it was never installed and the upstairs was a sweatbox all summer which was really awful because my wife was pregnant. A week after the birth, with no warning, a construction company came and began tearing out all the concrete behind our apartment because it was installed wrong. With a one week old, we had to relocate out of town until the work was finished. They reimbursed our rent for those days but it was an absolute nightmare. The icing on the cake was that one of their representatives (Michael, who later lied about it) told us we could change the lease to month to month at any time. They did not honor his promise and charged us over $6000 to break the lease and move out despite the fact that we were unsatisfied the apartment and with their broken promises. This is a warning. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LOCATION OR FAUX MODERN LOOK OF THIS PLACE. This is a ruthless company who does not care about the people that inhabit their building.
