I lived in one of their apartments for about 3 years- the price was very affordable with 0 or $25 annual increases. The unit was very basic and mold was often a problem. They would come out and fix things when they broke though. The shared laundry room needed some repairs. The thing that shocked me most, in a good way, was that they returned the full security deposit. Ive never had that happen even when we left the unit in perfect shape. Overall, good price and basic necessities were covered - it was a good experience.

Most of my experiences with landlords over the years have been mediocre at best so I consider myself pretty skeptical when Im looking for new housing. Brooke, Latrell and the whole team at 23rd Ave have been much better than average. Operationally, theyre super responsive and accommodating. I also think their properties are reasonably priced which is rare to find in Portland. Would recommend!

Very Rude Staff. The short guy that works there does not know how to handle situations properly. Felt very harassed and unwelcome. Dont come here!

Just finished a 1 year lease in one of the Raleigh Hills units. Although were moving to a new property I wouldnt hesitate to rent with 23rd Ave Properties again. Neighbors were friendly and respectful, and the building was well maintained. Kate and Brooke were nothing but helpful as long as weve been their tenants. They run a good operation.You can submit maintenance requests and pay for rent online - very convenient! Our maintenance requests were dealt with promptly (only had a couple over the year). Highly Recommend!

I have lived in one of their properties for a couple of years - the staff is readily available, my building Superintendent is the best I have ever had, and the building is well taken care of. Ive met the ownership and would say that it seems to be a great bunch top to bottom. One of the owners actually looked up my number and called to let me know that my Jeep was going to get towed a year or so ago. Dont know many property owners that would take the time to do that.Additionally, they dont pull the vintage card, and charge through the nose, they actually update and maintain things. (WOW)I regularly recommend their company to professionals new to the downtown Portland area!

I live in the Katherine building on NW 23rd and I have to say the staff is amazing. Clean building, quiet neighbors, speedy maintenance fixes, and awesome location.Highly recommend this management!

If I was just rating the apartment, I would give it a 4.5. The one I lived in had beautiful, turn of the century interiors, a gas stove, bay windows. Ample amounts of light flowed into a living room and it made it very cozy. The only thing I would ding is the poor paint job. What brought my review down was the landlord. She was difficult to reach, and if we did get in contact with her, she was angry and always spoke cynically and sarcastically, as if it was a crime for disturbing her day. After the last rent check was deposited, she ignored all maintenance issues and repeatedly lied through email that the maintenance guy would be there the next day.
