I made a mistake when I reviewed this store and I am so sorry.. I thought I was reviewing one that I went to in Michigan.This is my go to store. Everybody is very helpful and do their best to accommodate us. This store did not run out of phones! Please accept my apology and I have deleted my former review.

Update: Was contacted by David W., I assume in response to this review, and offered a refund finally. I’ve updated the review from one star to four stars. It could have been five but they offered the bare minimum after all my trouble and didn’t go above and beyond in any way so I’m withholding a star. Everyone I dealt with was friendly.Original review: Bought an iPhone SE. When offered to transfer data for me I declined since Im more comfortable doing it myself. About three weeks go by and Im looking through my receipts and I notice they charged me a $29.99 data transfer fee. Thinking this will be easy to resolve I head back and speak to Alex D., the guy that sold me the phone. He acknowledges the mistake but says Im past the 14-day refund period. Thats great and all but Im not asking for a refund since I was never provided the service I was charged for, I want my money back that was overcharged by accident.Anyway, Im told I need to speak to regional manager Mike Vladimir. Ive put in two messages to him over the months and never got a response. Its now been almost a year and this receipt is still on my to-do list and still no one has got back to me.

I call the store to get information on my account so I can access it and change my pin. I was trying to explain the situation to the girl and she kept cutting me off and told me to call 611. I dont have an active email address at that time nor can recieve text messages. She was very rude and my faith in Verizon is failing. The customer service has gone down the drain at this specific store. I am looking at other carriers to replace Verizon.

I had a great experience working with Robyn and Chris. Chris was very helpful with guiding me through the upgrade process for my phone. He pulled up specifications of phones so the i could get a better handle of the capabilities of each model I was considering. Robyn was able to easily let me know the exact price changes to my bill with the upgrade to my phone and change to the plan. Both were very professional and easy to talk to. We even carried on about new tech and things we liked about newer phones. It was a fun and rewarding experience.

Jeff is the best Verizon rep weve ever had. We met him several years ago at the jacaranda location in Venice and it was top shelf and we were sad to find out that he was transferred.We made several attempts to work with the staff there in Venice and they were never good experiences. We were thrilled to find him and we will make the trip to whatever location hes at because he gives us the trust and the customer service that we deserve as well as anyone else. Robyn was so helpful and polite, before us she had another customer who was having difficulties she took the time out to explain the issues and remained calm. She then took care of us helped fixed our phone and explained everything wrong with it. She was great, we will be seeing her more in the future. They helped me out in ways unexpected, putting the customers first and ensuring everything was in order despite them getting off work late. I walked in fully expecting to buy a phone and a data plan, and I walked out with a data plan and a plan/great advice for my credit that would allow me to receive a phone payment plan later on so that I don’t pay a large sum of money up front. These people are amazing, and will make sure you are satisfied before you walk out the door.

I have been to other Verizon stores in Port Charlotte and would not recommend any of them but I would definitely recommend the Verizon at promenades mall!

As someone that has worked in telephony for the past 24 years, I was greatly irritated how the owner LIED to my wife and convinced her to take was he said was a FREE tablet (TAB A) because we have a corp. account which we do not. Once we got the $300.00 bill for the Free Tab A plus a monthly fee, I returned the item. Grateful it was within the Holiday extended return window which he first stated I was past that time, then found out I knew something he wasnt willing to mention. Then tells me all charges have been removed. Today I called Verizon and they removed $278.22 from the account. This guy is a franchise (retailer), this is NOT a corporate store which is why he gets away with this. You better know your stuff or this guy will rip you off!

Not enough people working, one was new, so a lot of pressure put on Jamie, he has much patience. Long waits for everyone. Disappointed to learn that these phones are being made cheaper, so they really only last a couple years, yet you want us to improve your business by rating people ! The only reason I give this store 2 stars is not because of the service but the attitude of the store manager ( I think its the store manager, the guy worker). The young ladies that work in the store are pleasant and know what they are doing. The manager (I think, the guy) seems to be annoyed everytime I walk in the store and have an issue to be resolved. Doesnt he like my business. Maybe he doesnt like my face, I have no idea but a word of friendly advice, Treat Your Customers With Dignity and Respect. You should have a welcoming attitude and a smile on your face once in a while. If youre wondering who I am, I am the customer who came 2x today ( Sunday) about some of my photos not having been transferred from my previous phone to my new one. EvertiEveI walk in the store you dont seem very happy to see me. What is it with you? Words like, You Again, Whats Up Now, What Is It Now. Manager ( I think, the guy) I live in the area near your store and I recently moved to Florida from NYC. Thank you for your not so kind welcome. I will try to come in the store again if need be but if your attitude stays the same I will take my business elsewhere. Complete waste of money. Turned in a phone I completely paid off for a new phone. Was told just the taxes needed to be paid. But wasnt told I got charged another $1,000 for that phone. Why would I pay another $1,000 for a new phone by trading in my old phone that was paid off? Complete and utter rip off. Never. Never buy your phone from VERZION LIARLESS ever. Never turn your old phone in. They even told me 99% of customers do it. Ridiculous.

Robyn I great she helped me lower my bill an get into a new phone plus she was able to get the information out of my broken iPhone 4!! Shes magic! She even made the process fun! Instead of being overwhelmed and fusterated with the broken phone she knew we were Harry potter fans so she made Harry potter jokes and conversation! It was actually a present time and fun!!! Never thought that would be possible in a phone store! I wish I lived in Florida so I could visit this store every time I had an issue!!! Thank you verizon for having such a great manager!

My Verizon horror story... I was a brand new customer looking to get new phones for my fiancé and I. I was talked into an LG but they could only give me one in the color I wanted. I had to wait 1 week to get the second phone in. Once receiving the phones I saw a promotion on TV that the phones were part of a BOGO deal that I wasn’t told about in the store. I went back asking to be signed up for the rebate program described. They applied for me and my rebate was denied without any reason why. They re-applied thinking something wa sinoutwd incorrectly and I also applied for 4 applications total over several months. All came back as a no with no reasoning. The manager here even pretended to be me and contacted them through multiple means to try to find a solution to the problem considering we couldn’t figure out why the claims were denied. She was given no answers and could not help me. After 6 months of back and forth and a call to the district manager I was denied the BOGO deal as the manager stated it’s not there problem and I needed to go through the rebate department. I asked about trading the phone in after one year or even giving the second phone back. They stated that my type of phone was not qualified under any trade in and that only Samsung and IPhone were able to be traded. I was forced to pay $1200 for two phones we barely used. Eventually both phones ended up in a drawer after 6 months of use. Without being able to trust Verizon we leased new IPhones directly through Apple instead of going through Verizon. This was the best thing I ever did. Verizon punished us by charging us more per line to have an IPhone over other phones and we were charged $60 in upgrade fees to get them despite paying the balance on both existing phones and being out of contract.We’ve had Verizon now for 3+ years and we have never had good service. I constantly see claims of Verizon being the best network available with the fastest internet speeds. Without WiFi our IPhones refuse to maintain any strong connection. I will be in the middle of Sarasota with 3 out of 4 bars and my phone is unable to even play a 1 minute video online. If it weren’t for our WiFi we would be unable to use the phones. Even our navigation while on the road consistently looses connection. I know that verizon prioritizes there customers so I must’ve been thrown into the bucket of rejects for internet speeds. I’ve never had a more frustrating experience in my life. I would not recommend Verizon to anyone at this point and am seeking a new service provider this weekend. I pay entirely too much for a phone out of contract that never receives consistent signal.

Vena and Robyn are both such a pleasure to work with! Always smiling and ready to tackle any problems I occur with my phone! Vena helped me find the the right phone and plan for me! And both her and Robyn were able to fix my apple id! I had been to several locations about this problem and they all told me i had to go to an apple store! The girls solved the problem in under 10 minutes saving me over an hour of a drive! I will never shop at another location again!

Have not had positive experiences with this store. Besides the undeniable touch of arrogance, they are not particularly knowledgeable of iPhones. During my first experience with this store I was sold an iPhone 5 with only 6 gb of memory when the sales person knew I used ITunes quite a a lot when questioned about this I was told “ that’s what all iPhone 5 s have. Before I learned this was not true it was too late to trade up and I was stuck with a phone that was inadequate for my needs. Subsequent visits have not proved to be more positive

My work phone wasnt working, i brought it into the store for help after i spent hours working on it, robyn was able to fix my issues, very quickly, she noticed my phone was much older, and recognized the issues i was having was coming form old software, she suggested a newer model, which i agree with, she offered to reach out to my company and explain to them this issue and try to help get me a new model! WIll always go back here, she was very kind, quick and smart!

NOT ALL VERIZON STORES ARE CREATED EQUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Before becoming a pastor, I work in retail for over twenty years. I like Verizon as my cell carrier. However, my contract was do to be renewed this January. So my wife and I started to shop around to see what was out there. Our final call was to an Ashley at Verizon on Kings Highway in Port Charlotte Florida. This individual could care less and was rude and of no help. Matter of fact her attitude was so bad we almost left this company.However, I came out of the gym one day and went into a Verizon store next door. There I met Vena B and Robin J. Now I had an intense workout and was very sweetie, but that did not matter to these two ladies. They were respectful, kind, and tremendously helpful.Not only did I not leave Verizon, but ended up buying two new phones and renewing my contract for two years. They took the time to find out my needs, got me the best products for them, and help explain everything to my wife and I.Vena was excellent in her customer service each time we went in after the purchase, we never felt like we were bothering her. Here is why - she had been WELL TRAINED. Vena had a great personality, incredible focus, and understood the importance of the customer.We did not get some special deal, we just got the best deal for us. Robin (The Store Manager) loves her Job, her staff, and yes even her customers. She has been there for over six years, which says a lot for an industry with a high turnover rate.I also watched as they treated each customer that came in with the same loving respect, and caring attitude. Many stated they were her customers for life. As long as they work for this company, I will be a customer for life.So if you are looking for a new cell carrier, or its time to renew your contract. I would encourage you to seek out this store. Go in and ask for Robin J or Vena B, because as I said before not all Verizon stores are created equal!
