800 call service is the poorest I have ever experienced from any company by far. Numerous times have been told by phone representatives that somebody will call you back ASAP or be out to install and you never get a call back. At least at a store you got friendly service but now they have closed stores. Would not recommend this company. We are on our 2nd service ticket and almost 3 weeks and 12 reps later with no response.

Ive been trying to set up service for a new house for MONTHS. Ive had tickets declined with no notification. Ive called and been told theyre creating a ticket only to find out one has never been created. Ive been told so many different things by different representatives about why I cant get service, and now its clear to me that no one there knows their own policy. Ive had to call multiple times and Ive dealt with multiple rude people. Ive asked to speak to supervisors and been denied. At this point, its a joke. I cant move because I work from home and I need internet to do my job. They have wasted more of my time than anyone ever has before. I recommend any provider over this one. If this is how they treat people trying to give them money, goodness how unprofessional they are when theyre actively getting it.

Ive never had bad service at this center. Everyone is always very nice and courteous and even if theres a line it doesnt last long. Prefer to go in person and handle my business than over the phone with someone not even in the country.

This is the most un professional company I have ever dealt with.we have been trying to get it installed. They don’t show up. They don’t call back, when you do get some one on the phone they say they don’t know what your talking about. These people are horrible at there job.

RUN FOR THE HILLS. IF you do not require fast internet, RUN. This company is the most frustrating monopoly out there. NO ONE can give you a straight answer, my account was deleted three times, the techs were rescheduled twice & when they did get out there... they tried to leave early without completing the job. (15 minutes after arrival & 40 minutes late.... dont worry... the techs were sure to send their supervisors an on time arrival even though they were 40 minutes late.)Seriously though people, I have nothing to gain from this and unfortunately require high speed due to work and my purchases of smart home equipment so will be staying until someone else comes along with the same speed offers or something faster than 15 mbps.....

I need an Xfinity Service Center open in Charlotte County. Every other business is open. I need service and equipment replacement. Xfinity wants to change $15 for me to send them the equipment that is in poor repair. I should not have to drive 45 minutes to an hour to Cape Coral to get service. Open the Port Charlotte office please.

Comcast is the worst service ever. Always loseing service. Not just once in awhile, but every single day. The weather is awesome here in Florida. And yet for no reason I lose service. Internet and TV. Just not a reliable company at all. And their customer service is just as bad. They lie to you every time you call. Im thinking, they are taught to lie from this so called company. And yes a lot of you, mentioned the cost. Its trouble. Just keeps going up and up. And the service keeps going down and down. Please someone else come to town that can give us a better deal.

Consistently, repeatedly the most God-awful customer service experiences ever known to the universe.Internet service drops several times a day. Attempting to get someone on the phone requires the same time commitment as reading a medium sized novel. Today, I spent almost an hour navigating first the voice prompts, which then led to text messages, that then sent me to an online chat, that provided me the same phone number I started with! Absurd! When I finally got an apparently breathing human on the phone I downgraded to the least package available. Said breathing human had little concern as to the reason for the downgrade, and positively no interest in actually helping a customer.They have a monopoly and fully behave as such. If you have any other possible option for data transmission, use it. A telegraph would be less frustrating.

It wasnt too crowded when I went. There were only 3 ahead of me. It didnt take long and the equipment exchange I came in for was easy.I did drive past the their building because it is not well marked. Some sort of more prominent signage would be appreciated.

Im not a big fan of any cable or satellite company but the guy who helped me when I went into the store was awesome. Got me taken care of quickly and besides being efficient and smart he was funny as heck. I cant remember his name but he was about a 32 32 year old black guy who evidently has worked there for a while and I love how he took care of me. I hope if the company sees this post they know who he is and give him some credit

All the customer service representatives I dealt with were courteous ...using the machine for payment was meant to be user friendly, and might have been if I had kept my account information up to date. Once I got that situation remedied the process went very smoothly.

Poor service, and when you have trouble with your service you will have to wait for hours to talk to a representative. Comcast has been known for cutting back on people for customer service and going to machines that can NOT help. You will be very frustrated with their service and their very bad customer support.

We were disappointed when we drove all the way down to the business just to find out they dont carry anything in stock. Their website lists Xfinity mobile as one of their store options but when we got there all they can do is activate a phone which can be done online anyway. They need to be more specific on their website. We would have called first but you cant get through to local offices. The phone number takes you to the customer service line with no option for local stores.

I was in and out of there in under 25 minutes. The waiting room was full when I got there at 4:30 and was back home by 5. Very pleasant Customer service people, apologizing for the wait time. It was an unexpected quick visit to the Customer service Building on Edgewater to switch my boxes for the more updated ones. Thank you Comcast/ Xfinity for making our lives a little bit easier.

Went in to talk about cell phone service and dropping service altogether. Learned it costs $10/mo until your contract is up unless you keep at least one service. Cost of Wifi depends on your current speed.

Wendy came out to install my xfinity cables after the previous technician told me I had to have an electrician come out and run the lines through the attic. I advised that technician that I wanted the line outside under the eaves. He said he couldnt do it. Wendy looked at the house and said it was not a problem and proceeded to install all the lines. Very happy with her.

Comcast is this WORST company to have. There are always extra charges on the bill that no one can really explain. And for the last 3 years my internet will cut out for 20-30 min at the same time everyday. I have called on multiple occasions. It works for awhile. Then it happens again. Unfortunately Comcast is the only company that comes out where I live. Otherwise I would switch in a HEARTBEAT! I don’t recommend this company to ANYONE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

They may have good customer services but in the end they are expensive and when you don’t pay your bill they suspend your account until you pay it and when you can pay 624.00 and the past due amount is more money and you can’t pay it they pick up all the electronics and when you pay the 624..00 they will not turn on your internet and home security and tvs. They say we are loyal Comcast customers when all they want is there money. Well Comcast go ahead and take my whole good damn Paycheck from d.

I was greeted by Lewis and the room was busy. He was friendly and very helpful and was directing traffic. I was promptly assisted by Jackie and he answered all of my questions accurately and quickly. I was in and out in less than five minutes, I was returning a modem. I was scared to go in from all of the reviews!

This is the most frustrating disservice to encounter. I called because I have an outlet that isn’t working and one of my DVR’s locks up and the young man tells me there is a call scheduled on my account (which I did NOT schedule) and they can’t remove that call or schedule another one until the outside service call is resolved. Which, by the way, is next Friday.I want to know where this great service is that we hear on TV all the time?

Staff at Edgewater Blvd Office location were courteous, professional, competent and extremely helpful.However, Comcast rates were excessive and manipulative when we wanted to add and pay extra for one(1) additional specific channel not available in our package.We were advised to change to an entirely different package which provided more channels which we did not want but included the one(1) channel we wanted and at a substantial monthly increase in cost.We declined their offer to change package because of the extra cost of $30 monthly.I think this scam of forcing customers to pay an extra $20, $30, $40 or more monthly to buy a different and more expensive package just to access an extra specific channel should be prohibited by law.The policy requiring upgrading to a more expensive package to access an extra specific channel is simply a way to gouge customers financially.Shame on this Comcast Policy. Never a problem with Comcast. Great in the lobby service, and phone tech support. I have not found hidden fees like other customers. All fees are disclosed, and you do need to ask questions, like anything else.

While this review does not pertain to the local service center it does address Comcasts customer service culture as a whole. Every time I call the customer service line I spend multiple hours being transfered to different representatives. EVERY time they correct one issue they cause another issue which results in another call. The reps call the same plans by different names and no one can explain the services correctly. I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH THE IRS, A USED CAR SALESMAN OR HAVE A ROOT CANAL THAN DEAL WITH COMCAST.

First visit was to return one piece of the equipment that customer service had told me I needed to return,on cancelling service, the rest was mine since Ive had it greater than 30 days (2 years) only to be informed by service representative in office that I also needed to return the rest of the equipment or else Comcast will continue to charge monthly service fees! Second visit was to pay a bill that was never sent for internet service...just an FYI, payment center, though has a person physically present, you pay by machine and will not give change and Comcast apparently doesnt credit your next bill! The 3rd visit was to pay my internet service as I was going to be outside of the country for the due date, only to find the payment center door locked, went into the equipment return office and had to wait while others returned their equipment and low and behold they will take cash but dont have capabilities to give change!

My issue was not resolved and I need further assistance. I have just learned that the contract I agreed to is not being honored by Comcast. My Netflix that was included at the time I agreed to my contract was just dropped because I moved and transferred my service. I was told everything would be the same including Netflix. I hope to hear from someone at Comcast who can resolve this issue because I feel they are very wrong and if they want to help resolve this with good customer service I have all my notes of who I talked to and when.

I have called and spoken to 5 different reps about fixing my bill , i am on a promo for 24 months and they said it was expired after 6 months. i have been battling for 3 weeks to get this corrected and all they keep saying is your are all set, then when i call back they apologize for the previous reps mistake, then they go a head and do the same thing, it is good i have screen shots of all chats with reps and also have had them go back 3 times to my recorded conversations., but again still not resolved. if i could get any other cable company i would right away .

This place absolutely does not have enough workers in place and when you grab a number it should go in order with that number. However we watched a gentlman that worked there take his friends regardless of who was in what order and they just so happened to be after us...because of what he did, they left 45 minutes before us! Came in simply to pickup a modem. Forget the fact that you have to wait behind a lot of people arguing over their bill etc just get a device you already paid for! They dont have modems... they have massive (television sized) all in one devices that arent customer configurable. They also wont sell coax by the ft. So, if you want a 6ft cable (too big 90% of the time), or if you need something longer, youre out of luck.PS: They were rude as well. I mentioned how I didnt appreciate waiting in line for nothing and they refused to acknowledged I was speaking.

Comcast, in general, is awful for performance and customer service.ie - They place popular channels that had been in basic service, into Premium tiered, so you now have to pay for it - yet, they give me several non-English speaking channels which no one in my household can understand for which I have to pay. No one can explain that.However - back to customer service at the Port Charlotte, FL office - I had to replace a remote control that my dog had eaten. Someone was outside the door to greet me, took the destroyed remote, brought back a brand new remote - in and out in less than a minute. Hope they do the same today, when I take in my cable box that died the other night.

Have had Comcast internet since 2002. I am rating them 5 stars only because they have upped their customer service game in the last decade. Still rely heavily on cable lines (slow and worse broadband capabilities) and still price gouge customers (a feature of all Telecoms).Fios has stayed ahead of Comcast since its unveiling by Verizon. If you have the option for it, always go Fios. Unfortunately it is not available in SWFL.

I have been trying for 16 years to get Comcast to fix my speed issues. I work from home and have to have a direct connect cable connection. Today again I am unable to work as I cannot get enough download speed to keep programs running. Keep losing connection with the servers. I have called for 20 minutes this a.m. and all I get is circuits are busy. This is affecting my contract with my employer and if it continues they will terminate it as I am not meeting my requirements. Any suggestions. Nothing else has helped so I thought I would post on line.

This company is a huge rip off. I actually get better speeds from century link. Less hassle and when my line was struck by lightning, century link had a guy out next day, instead of 2 weeks from never. I was flat out told by a Comcast service representative that the previous rep I spoken to a week earlier , had lied to me to get me off tje line. Comcast owes us money, and refused to credit us for it and then sent us to collections when we threatened to speak with a lawyer. Absolutely the worst company ever. Must be nice be nice to have the FCC so neatly tied up in your back pocket while you rip off your customers on a daily basis.
