One of the best place to go in Port Charlotte Florida. Great place to sit inside and look at all the old antiques. And Mary Jo and the others are awesome in there with kids. You can also get your kids first haircut there and get a certificate for it. You must go. Its the only place that you will get a haircut and not walk out with an itchy back as we all know that. Trust me when I tell you this Ive been going there for over 20 years.

I was assisted beyond my expectations. Done visiting Mom in Florida I had to get a haircut not only did they help me shift around my appointment hey also assisted me with the style I usually dont go for and also trimmed my beard along with my hair for an out of towner that doesnt know the area Pops barbershop came thru. Great place to get a fresh shave and haircut! Mary Jo is my barber/hair stylist and has been since I was about 10 years old. Im now 26 years old. If that doesnt tell you that you should come here I dont know what will... Oh ya I do... it is next to a bar, if you wanted to get a quick bite to eat and a drink before or after your visit .

My first time at Pops. I waited about 4 minutes for Amanda to finish up with a customer. After cleaning up I was invited to the chair. She asked, Just a cleanup. I said yes. We had some small talk and I was feeling like family. She was Polite, Professional. She did a wonderful haircut in a few minutes. She now has a customer for a long time. Gary

I have been going here and having my haircut for over 20 years. Andy is not there but the girls know how to cut the hair just like him. When you can walk in sit down and enjoy the environment an the old antique items that is in the barbershop to look at every single week. Take your kids there they will love it its educational at this barber shop for the kids. Once you take your kids there and the next time you tell them its haircut time and were going to Pops Place watch them run the truck, on their own...........

Quality is the word for this local place. Great job! Bring cash or a check, no cards taken. On my Dads recommendation, got my hair cut and a beard trim. Rick is semi-retired working Tues-Thurs only. Lindas chair was open so I took a seat and was VERY impressed. Lots of good tips for keeping the beard in check. Will go back!

If you need a hair cut and youre in or around Port Charlotte, Pops is the place. A friendly atmosphere and a quality coif. What else could you ask for? And no appointments are necessary. Mary Jo is pretty busy, but well worth the wait, and one of the other chairs is usually free. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. And the local gossip flows freely from chair to chair. All in all, if you havent been to Pops you dont know what youre missing. Of course, when you leave, youll be missing some of your hair.

Sadly I havent had the pleasure of visiting this establishment due to them closing early every Saturday. Ive tried to get my boyfriend in for his haircut for weeks. Ive even called well before closing time & asked when theyre closing time was they said they were closing at 1pm.Ive gone there at noon multiple times and no one is there. Completly a waste of my time...
