Best in Port Charlotte. Hands down. Every barber in there is great at what they do, and I can personally vouch for Vinny. If you’re in the Charlotte county area in need of a haircut, don’t hesitate to stop in Upscale Barbershop. 10/10

Posted hours seem to be little more than a suggestion. They are supposed to be open on Sunday but youll have better odds flipping coin.

I always get a fresh cut for about 25 dollars when I pull up here. They often change barbers, but seem to hire ones that know what time it is and how to give good service.

Barber didnt show up to appointment he arranged with me ..he returned my call arranged a appointment wasted half my day. ...unprofessional...upscale is not like it use to be there

If I could give them no stars I would.Went here for a cut with my four boys. They lost electricity and had us waiting for hours. They only had one barber. When it finally came to my turn the guy used uncleaned/ unsanitized clippers and bit me all over my neck and face causing irritation for over a week. Extremely disrespectful. Couldnt pay me to go back.

Everybody is very friendly, sanitary and professional. For my first time being in a barbershop, my experience was amazing and its such a good price too.

Went in for the first time. The place as recommended by an acquaintance. The cut was $25 but only worth about $7.00. They had filthy music blasting so it is surely not family friendly . Save yourself some grief and cut your on hair with a Flowby if you have to but stay away from this place.

Very unprofessional, scheduled a cut at 10:45, owner texts me telling me barber won’t be in until 12, come in at 12 and now I’m told that barber isn’t coming in today

Waited 2 hours and when asked for a specific hairstyle it wasn’t right. Now I have to find a barber that can fix the mess they made. The cost was expensive never again

Never a dull Moment here while you’re waiting for one of the 7 barbers to cut your hair next. Appointments always available, it’s a busy shop but that’s just because you’re waiting on good quality haircuts.

I’ve been looking for a barber after moving from Atlanta and my search has finally come to an end. The young man at the third chair gave me exactly what I asked for and made sure I felt at home in his chair. I will be returning to Darwin he’s the modern version of your classic barber and I can tell he puts care and effort into his craft.

Came by at 1:15 to get a haircut and the doors where locked and there was no sign saying at lunch or closed...dont know what is going on with this place but I do like the barbers when they are open.

DO NOT GO AT THIS TIME, upscale is currently down due to being under construction. Figured it was better to try and tell people instead of them driving all that way

No respect at all for clients day or time spent waiting. We have never waited less than hour. Would be fine if they were respectful for people waiting, but they will stop mid haircut to chat about shoes or game scores forEVER. Have come here at least 5 times to give it a fair shot and will not come back after today!

Keep in mind, this was my first visit. I stopped by on a whim today, and I was greeted promptly. The guys asked me if I was waiting for anyone in particular, I wasnt. Gentleman whos got the chair closest to the door had me sit down. He wasnt very talkative, but hey, Mondays... I got one of the best haircuts Ive had in a long time!! Im very happy with the way he cut my hair, and he spent at least 45 minutes on me, getting it just right. Going in blind, no appointment, this guy never seen me before....I got a great cut. And for $15 bucks?!?! Ill be back!!!!!!! Well done guys.

Absolutely love this shop. Two guys did great with my boys. Dont quite remember their names but last chair and in the fifth chair. I will continue to bring my boys here. Thanks guys for the wonderful cuts.

My son has autism and has a really hard time with haircuts the guys are great and understanding we I would never take my son anywhere else

When I entered I was excited about the experience. That quickly disappeared. I saw several employees working on other customers and they were doing a wonderful job. I got a white male with dreadlocks. He was more interested in playing with his phone than taking care of the customers...me. I had to have him do three times and even after that the cut was uneven. Never shaved my neck. Never asked to cut my sideburns or good tee. I was extremely disappointed. Wish I had another barber. Stay away from this guy.

Darwin was and still is the only barber who can cut my boyfriends hair exactly how he asked. We were actually told by another barber elsewhere that the cut he was asking for “just can’t be done” with his hair-type. Well, if that’s the case, Darwin’s a miracle worker. I’m a happy wifey lol, my man looks great. Thank you!

I never get good hair cut but when I went in there today, I honestly felt amazing about my new look. Thats something new to me and it meant a lot to have a quality haircut for a reasonable price. Very, very good

When I first went in there it smells like weed ghetto as hell ignorant run down ass people I sat there and waited forever these dude for letting other people stick before my kid just because they knew them and they was cool with them BS never go there I like Easy Clippers these guys are cool humble laid-back good people great prices yeah you have to wait but its worth it!! Now this is a real time barbershop not a place where they hire people who have just graduated from school. The barbers have been there for ever and they do a fantastic job not a shop where you are in and out in 15 minuets or lessThanks for the great job guys.

Upscales is the best barbershop in town. Wyms and Angelo are the best barbers in town hands down. Dave and Levi holds it down. White, Black, Spanish, CHinese, young or old they got you.
