Ive known Dr. Frahm for many years. He is an amazingly skilled therapist, and also just a kind, compassionate and caring human being. Over the years I have referred dozens of clients/patients to him (including other psychologists/mental health professional who needed couples therapy for their own relationships) and they have always given me great feedback about their work with him. I recommend without any hesitation......he is great both at making people feel heard and understood, while at the same time getting to the root cause of difficulties to help change more permanently than just a temporary improvement. He is a very insightful individual with a ton of integrity.

Im so grateful for 2 years of consistent and patient help; after a half dozen sessions, hes helped me reshape my self-understanding and then he helped create positive long-term strategies while navigating on-going life ups and downs. Also a few marriage counseling sessions.I had struggled to find a therapist I connected with, trying 2 others prior to Dr. Frahm. He was thorough in understanding my perspective and struggles, not jumping to preconceived ideas.

I have a friend that came to this guy and she was experimented on with therapy that made her feel incredibly uncomfortable. He tied her wrists with rope, made her feel uncomfortable, and didn’t apologize and proceeded to tell her that she shouldn’t voice her concern or anything about it because it can ruin his reputation. Be aware of him and how he takes advantage of some of his clients regardless if it is ethically correct or not. Then tried to tell her not to out him to the world. She posted a review that has been flagged and taken down from google reviews and so that’s just completely outrageous. My recommendation is don’t come see this therapist.

Working with Dr. Frahm has improved my life in drastic ways. He has a warm and intelligent presence that just makes you feel comfortable opening up to him about anything that’s troubling you. He is extremely non-judgmental and offers amazing insight into finding real solutions to difficult problems. I’ve never met someone who can make a concept so clear through descriptions and analogies. He always made me feel like I could change my life myself no matter what situation I found myself in. That was a powerful thing for me and lead to me becoming much more positive and assertive.

Please stop silencing your victims. My friend came here in hopes of finding a therapist and ended up leaving with the trauma of being tied up and told that she shouldnt share her experience. She left a review and was silenced once again as her review is no longer up. On top of that, someone basically mocked her in their own review. No victim should ever be blamed for what they went through, and what shes being put through for speaking out about a situation that was in no way her fault is absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. I highly encourage that you take a moment to actually think about what youve done and what youve caused her, and I genuinely hope that you wont do this to anybody else, either.

Incredibly insighful. Dr Frahm is patient and ensures everyone is given a chance to speak and contribute. He is especially talented in helping you feel comfortable and validated while helping you recognize what is preventing progress. I cant say enough, if youre looking for a caring, involved counselor then he is absolutely the best!

Ive been seeing Dr. Frahm for nearly 5 years and have found him to be a caring, sensitive, open, nonjudgmental, knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathic professional and, more important, human being. His professional ethics have been beyond reproach. With his help I have realized long buried truths I avoided my whole life and have gained much needed insight and emotional balance. I trust him and have always known my sessions with him to be a safe & healing place.

Dr. Frahm is someone who I look forward to seeing. Initially, I never wanted to go to our appointments. I thought it would be like my experience with previous therapists where I would struggle to find the words for how I was feeling and leave feeling worse. Dr. Frahm has been able empathize with me in a way I have never felt. My husband and I are so deeply connected now because he was able see us without judgment and teach us to see each other the same way. When Ive been in a crisis, he has made himself available to my whole family day or night. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Frahm and the gift of healing that hes given myself and my family. Oh and hes pretty funny too! 😊

I initially thought he was an insightful therapist but realized after “an experimental therapy session” that he’s woefully ignorant about professional standards and ethics. Without my consent he bound my wrists with rope as part of an “alternative therapy” he was trying with me. He asked me not to tell anyone but truthfully it was a traumatic experience. He was my first therapist and I was happy to have found an empathetic therapist but his empathy seems inauthentic after experiencing having my consent taken away from me. He never acknowledged the wrong or apologized after the session. And he asked me several times during the rope-tying session to not report him or tell anyone about it. I obliged out of guilt and out of confusion but I no longer feel guilty or confused. He clearly crossed an ethical line and he’s fortunate I’m not reporting him but I’d like others who are considering getting therapy from him to heed my warning. In the end I didn’t feel safe in a therapy session with him.
