Horrible waited 10 hours at shipper and 8 at receiver. Called in prior to going into detention and was told to make surevin and out times were on the BOL. Did just that after waiting 2 days to get a hold of someone about it, we were told we had to wait 2 not to mention the total amount they are saying they requested from the customer is a total of $279 ($154 from shipper & 124 from the receiver). BOGUS!!! Spoke to Olivia 2 days ago at the 14 day mark she said it would be paid the next day or the day after. I waited until the day after to hear from her with no response to my email also not responding today! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENT! THEY ARE NOT TRANSPARENT WHEN BOOKING LOADS....After inquiring about this situation multiple times, I was told the particular customer takes weeks to pay them then they pay the driver. I told her they need to inform people of that upfront when people inquire about the load so people can have n educated decision or whether to book or not and I told her I didnt agree to No such thing, she said its in their contract with the customer. I told her thats not my agreement. I told her we have ran Landstar loads before and had detention paid out within 48 hours to us. Whatever they are making up at this Gwynn location is far off from my experience with good agents!

I am shocked that a Landstar Agency, Gwynn Logistics LLC, did not pay detention time despite the Carrier being on time and waiting for hours to get loaded. The carrier even provided evidence to prove the truck driver was there on time and had to wait for hours before leaving with the load.This is unacceptable. I am surprised that Landstar would affiliate themselves with a company such as this one.REPLY:I’m not exactly sure what carrier you’re referring to, and what information you used to reference my particular load, but my driver was on time. For future reference purposes, you might want to confirm information before associating my contact info with another carrier. Please keep in mind it does take 15 minutes to get to the dock from the check-in area. Also, please keep in mind the security guard takes 20 to 30 minutes just to check you in and the guard does not allow you in before the check-in time on the rate con.

Worst logistics company to do business with. Beware.
