Every Spring we would get infested with ants. But since we started using Terminix, this year I havent seen ants in my house. Our tech, Dvir, is friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the treatment was done outside our home, which is also a good thing. I am beyond thrilled.

Carlton is a terrific tech. For any company, the customer facing employee is the most important to its success, along with its products. So far what he uses and how he treats the areas have been very successful to eliminating ants that were troublesome in and out of my house for several years.

Terminix sprays around my home quarterly because I have had problems with carpenter ants. Darrin is the technician who services my home, and he is pleasant, competent and professional. He came into my home years ago for the initial visit and found the nest the ants had built in the wall. He took care of the problem and the quarterly visits keep them from returning. Terminix is a big company but I appreciate the personal aspect of having the same technician come to my house all the time.

Edgar Sanchez the Terminex tech has responded on multiple occasions to help rid our house exterior of multiple problems. Each time we contacted him he was prompt with a response and was always on time. He also handled the insect problems in a professional and .very safe manner for all concerned.

Terminix is pretty inexpensive, but you get what you pay for! Generally I don’t like using the biggest companies because you are one in a million to them, and it really shows with terminix. Not a fan.

I got my 1st treatment for mosquitoes on 5/27/21. Even though we did not have too many mosquitoes yet, I just grabbed the promotion because it was about to expire. We had almost no mosquitoes until 6/15 (it could also be because it was not hot enough fir mosquitoes, yet) and started getting mosquito bites again in my backyard. Trying to reach someone for re-service, now. But after you say you are calling for re-service, youre placed on hold and no one gets back to you.Will stop this service immediately.

Had a lot of spider crickets. Tried everything to control them and then had terminex come to inspect. They gave me tips for outside my home to prevent bugs and rodents. They helped with the cricket problem and come every 3 months for maintenance. When I saw a bee hive in the soffit outside my bedroom window, they came within 24 hours and removed it. On todays inspection, they told me I have a birds nest in my upstairs AC and advised me to call the 800 number so they can send wildlife professionals to remove and place them elsewhere. As a homeowner, having a Terminex account is one of the best decisions I have made.

Devir is always on time and thorough. Being that I have a small child he makes sure where ever he sprays is safe and out of reach of the baby.

How would this company charge over 600 for a service that they did NOT fully perform. They did NOT spray the whole house. Only sprayed in certain areas & when I requested for the representative to spray the entire house he told me there was no need to. I paid for FULL SERVICE / SPRAY THE WHOLE HOUSE!Don’t be selfish with the spray! He was a nice staff member but did not do the job that We paid for.It cost us too much money for nothing. I spent an additional 40 to do the job myself because the 600 job I paid for did NOT happen! 😡When I called to speak with a manager, no one answered nor did a manger or customer service representative call me back.... Instead— the company had the representative that came to my house & did the half job -text me. I specifically asked for a manger to call me back. Why would I speak with the rep that didn’t do the job correctly?!?! (He was a nice person but Did not help me with the issue at hand by not spraying the house properly)I am really upset with this whole experience!Trying to get a representative on the phone is the worst! I’ve been trying to speak to a manager or someone to fix my issue for over two weeks now and counting now. 😡

Mr D told me when he would come to spray for crickets and other cralling insects.He was very efficient and got the job done.I was very satisfied.

I scheduled an appointment for them to come spray for ants. I was told that they would spray inside and outside a 2400sf house for $299. The guy came and told me he can only spray one room for $299 because its illegal to treat the entire house unless i sign a contract. I called another company. They did it the next day. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

There are many pest control companies. I interviewed many. Terminix is the most responsive. Their prices are fair. They are very responsive and honest. I wouldn’t trust any other company.

This branch doesnt honor the price offered by the corporate. Im a customer of terminix with another property from past 5 years and never had any issues like the one in New York. Terrible service. Never go with them and waste time. Who ever is posting 5 ratings are friends and family and paid reviews.They just keep the reply as if they are concerned im updating this review since no one reached out to me. I went with other company Orkin and they are real professional and much cheaper and treated the complete house with the price quoted.

The scheduled inspections according to the plan we subscribe to have all been conducted in a professional manner by a representative who states his name in a phone call to us a short time prior to his arrival and the inspections have been thorough as far as we can ascertain.Should the technician find that he is going to be later in arriving as was agreed, he has phoned us earlier to let us know of his estimated time delay. We have been satisfied Terminix customers for twelve years beginning with our initial casita, then small house, and finally to our larger permanent home.

Great when you first call and pay for contract. After that your on your own. On hold for over 1/2 hour waiting for a representative...completely unexceptable customer service. Dont use them if you dont have to. Call another company!

We received the absolute worst horrible customer service over the past two days. We were given false information, treated disrespectfully, degraded, and received completely unprofessional customer service. To the point that we cancelled our contract with them, I would NEVER recommend to anyone to get this service. How can a company this large and nationwide be so bad? We spoke to three different managers, the district manager, and we were given different information every time. They had been working on my house for years but never fixed the problem and when I called them to come again, they said the contract that I had does not exist and wouldnt allow me to pay because my credit card expired, despite having a new one. I have never ever experience this level of disrespect, and I hope no one has to go through this. PSA to single mothers all throughout LI, you will be spoken down to and degraded like you arent even a person. I dont know how this place stays in business when the customer service is nonexistent and so blatantly rude! 5 different people yelled at me after I told them I have proof of being hospitalized with cancer, but they responded by yelling at me and telling me its my fault I could not stay on top of my finances at the time... Please save your time and money and go to someone who cares about you. IF my card did not work because it expired, shouldnt someone have reached out to me to tell me that they need a new number? But no, it is continuously my fault. They couldnt even find my contract with them even though I have had one for 10 years, they did not care at all that I was hospitalized which was the only reason I could not pay. Again, 5 different men were talking over me and yelling at me. I am so saddened and disappointed that a company this large has no idea how to do customer service.

The first time we used Terminix we had the inside treated for possible fleas and had the outside treated as well. It was a stressful time given the situation, but the technician eased our minds and provided us a lot of insight and helpful tips. Since then we have not seen any live bugs of any kind. Very professional staff and helpful customer service representatives.

Addam is a fantastic technician. Always has a moment to say hello, ask if we have any issues, and to give the dog a pet. He has an answer any time I ask a question and has solutions for any problem that comes up.

BUYER BEWARE: Be careful if you use Terminix! If you want a somewhat decent job done, and thats the best you can ask for, you have to literally follow the technician around to make sure that they do their job. I decided that their pest control service was too expensive for what I was getting. Although I terminated my contract, they sent someone days after I terminated it to do the service, and then wanted to charge me for it. After speaking to the technician about why he came out, he admitted he did nothing, yet the company still wants to charge for the visit. Perhaps they should make their anthem MONEY FOR NOTHING by Dire Straits. They are very opaque about contract termination dates. Make sure you get something in writing about that. Also, make sure you get the guarantee in writing (if you use their termite service), although it may not be worth the paper its written on. Although I asked for this numerous times, they never sent it.

I had ants in my kitchen. Lots of them. I called Terminix and they sent someone who looked like he knew what he was doing and why. He knew ants and went about his job with out fuss or blather. After a month they came back for a follow-up and voila! No more ants. Kind of pricey but worth it. Better than trying to do it yourself.

Had an issue with them promising to treat inside & outside the home as well as identifying and sealing any entry points. The tech spayed an unknown chemical outside the perimeter of the home, and place 2 glue traps inside the home. Glue traps dont work with cat in the house, so those had to be removed. Tried calling 3x for follow up service, disconnected 3x. Finally got customer service and requested to cancel contract on August 5th. I find almost 3 weeks later that a Andrew Steinburg, manager of a Plainview branch decided to deny my refund request and didnt have the common decency to contact me and advise. This company is not reliable or truthful with their customers. I would not recommend them to anyone. Horrible, frustrating, and all fluff...

Terminix is the leading pest control company on Long Island. If you have some pest issues, Terminix will come in and check everything and give you a report. But unfortunately, they try to scare the customers detailing all kinds of issues on the report. And even if you have coverage, they end up charging you a ton of money for services which are probably not needed. And also comparatively, they are much more expensive than other pest control companies on Long Island.

They sent a smooth talking pretty boy around to wake folks up on Memorial Day. Trying to sell services for insects that I Know I havent seen around my property. Than try to slyling imply I dont know what Im doing and should really jump at the privilege of paying up right now for their scam.

Beware of these thieves. Never never use them. The worst pesticide/termite control company on the island ever faced. After having a contract with them for 15 years and paying all dues/renewal on time, they terminated our contract today and asked me to go some where else after knowing that there may be some insect/pest activity at the property. They asked me to pay another $1400 to treat the property and restart the contract again from scratch with high annual price. I paid them $300 every year for almost 15 years and they only visited the property once a year during the contract term and never treated it but will charge you full amount every year. Once you complain about any activity or request for another service, they will create some kind of story and ask you to pay extra money and then again restart the contract with higher charges. The local Long Island office is very very rude, non professionals and only sitting here to eat your money. Each and every one in local Long Island branch, including their manager, inspector is very very rude. If you call their headquarter, no one is there to resolve your issue, rather listen to their local branch office and will dictate their terms. I am taking them to court for all what they did with us. I am surprised that after being a national level company and part of ServiceMaster group, there is no proper management and professionalism with Terminix and they dont care about their customer. ServiceMaster should be alerted and take some actions before they go out of business.Very Very disappointed and never expected this from a group of ServiceMaster company. Myself being in business for many years, I would never mistreat a 15 years old customer and let them go unhappy even if I have to go little bit out of way to do some thing for them.

Let me tell stay clear of terminix. They steal your money, their customer service is horrible at least at this branch, when you ask for things they give you issues yet you are paying them to do work, they dont work around your schedule they do what they want when they want, they hike up the price at their convenience. I will never recommend terminix to anyone, they are a complete rip off and the products barely work. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!!

Let me just start by saying this has been the worst experience in my entire life... why do I even have to give them one star??DO NOT order this service, they are a scam. Every few months they will charge you money non stop even for a one time service. Do yourself a favor and stay clear from these terrible human beings. Im going to go to the BBB in them. Saw swarming termites on 4/2014. Called TERMINIX. Bought their Sentricon system for over $2000.00. They installed the system and I never saw them again (Terminix) until a year later when their man came and could only find 13 of the 16 stations installed. I watched him pull out baits that were completely eaten away. His report? No Termite activity observed. The VERY NEXT DAY, I had ANOTHER SWARM in my house. Some SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. STEER CLEAR OF THESE FRAUDS.

Very very bad service. They sign you up into a contract for a year and dont mind coming multiple times but its just a service with no results. Their technicians lack knowledge of the problem but just come to fulfill an appointment. Never getting them again

They are full of BS. Problem persisted after treatment so its a worthless service. Also, Their rep completely misrepresented themselves upon contract signing. Also started telling me how many neighbors signed up while none of them did. Total BS from the rep. HUGE hassle to cancel contract. You have to call the main line and wait for 30 min just to get a rep to cancel. What does that tell you - everybody is cancelling all over the place since you have to wait this long just to cancel.Also,

Horrible. Do not use. My contract expired in April 2015. forgot to renew at the time. I sent a renewal check in October 2015. They cashed the check and reinstated the service in December 2015. 4 months later they said I owed them for another year after 4 MONTHS OF SERVICE. I spoke to the regional manager whos response was Yeah, they wont change the term of the contract, you have 3 months left. So they accepted payment for ONE YEAR and only agreed to provide 7 MONTHS of SERVICE. DO NOT USE THEM.

A young man knocked on my door on 7-17-14 He explaine to me what they service they provided and that many of my fellow neighbors were using Terminix. So I and my wife decided to buy this service.. We told the salesmen that our only day off was sat 7-19-14 to have the service as this was our 1st time and we wanted to be home to see what was going to be done.. He called his manager and said he locked us in for between 9am and 11am.. Great! so we thought.. Well on that sat 9am goes by 10am then 11am then 12pm and 1pm, So know we wasted our only day off and called the saleman and he never calls us back we call the main number and the manager calls us back ( and to this day have never herd from anyone) So my wife call the main number to cancel and they could give two F----ks!!! but of course they charged my credit card and now i have to disbute the charge.. You its funny how these companies want your credit card number befor they perform the service and how these big companies dont care about us small people..

No results after months of service , dont waist your money . Its all a scam to buy more product . They will always blame the client and their recommendations are usually upgrading the service .

Mosquito extermination does not work. After two years we are still unable to sit outside in evening. Also, while assured otherwise, spraying affected my garden. Will not be renewing for next year.All other services are fine.Technicians are always efficient and courteous.
