Horrible service for the elderly. Never on time, left my mother stranded without a ride home.

So terrible social workers! Service Coordinator of my family Allison Reefer could not help us with ANYTHING! She pretended working, but in fact she only gave information from Internet, lists of charity organizations that we had to call myself, she didnt help to apply. Also I DO NOT RECOMMEND to contact with NAMS if you are worried about privacy of yourself and your family! Allison spread gossip about her customers from NAMS and about their cases!!! It is very unprofessional and disgusting.

I have very disappointing experience with the Northern Area Multi-Service Center of Allegheny County (NAMS). For three months I have communication with two employees of NAMS: Allison Reefer, Service Coordinator, and Rebecca Johnson, Program Supervisor. Thanks to their work, I could not get any services that I need! I was bad luck, my service coordinator is Allison, a young indifferent woman with incorrect behavior. She does not try really to help people, does her job very formally, she even told that works in NAMS temporarily until found best place. First two months all Allisons job was that she told me obvious things, called to someone, left messages, waited for weeks and met with me to let me know about. Her working time was moving, she received her good salary and did not receive any result for me. But Allison do not care, in her opinion, she works well! I was forced to write about zero result to her supervisor Rebecca, and after it Allison was very offended! Immediately after my message to Rebecca, Allie in her messages stopped: 1) to write me hello, 2) to address me by name, 3) communication with my son (earlier she studied Russian language with my son and met him once a week). Later Allison began deliberately to play for time, detain my cases, misled. Program Supervisor Rebecca was defending Allison and even wrote me that can arrange for my case to be transferred to another partner agency. Allison and Rebecca forced me to refuse the services at NAMS!
