I, along with our firm have been working and partnering with East End Cooperative Ministries for many years. The mission of the organization is amazing. The work they do for the community is very necessary and well done. I will continue to support this organization ongoing.

I have worked as a grant writer at several nonprofits providing human services (food & shelter) to those in need. The administration and leadership at EECM is exceptional. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have excelled in treating our clientele with respect and compassion. I feel fortunate to be associated with such an organization that goes above and beyond. Not bad for a shelter. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the housing specialist Jim. They replaced a caring and knowledgeable housing specialist with one that disguises his rudeness as keeping it real. Many have complained about how unhelpful he really is yet he is still there. I did everything myself. I didnt have time to jump through his hoops and play his games. Hes not there to help you. He doesnt care about you. He is just there for a check.

Unprecedented professionalism needs new management.whenever u put cooperative before ministry theres a problem. Although they serve great lunches every day and participate in food drives.

Do you have to be a resident in order to stay here? Like in the county and is it for men only? And how would I go about be able to stay there? Would I just walk in or would I have to call ahead of time?

Very helpful for people in need of food but some produce is expired and some bakery products go bad quickly, but it is a good place for people in need.

Throws clients with mental health issues out on the streets in the ghetto at 11:30 at night with no where to go over a missed fire drill. These supposed Christian facilities are nothing but tax collecting abusers with questionable ethics and morals in the name of Jesus! No stars for you.. my client ended up back in the hospital after a couple of days.

The food pantry here is open Mon-Fri, making it very convenient. The people are very friendly and you get ample food. They only provide nonperishables (no produce :-( ) but they get you in and out with your food much quicker than other food banks.

Very great services that they provide for recovering addicts transitioning back into the community very clean full of a lot of programs for the community I love what theyve done with the building and all that they have to offer

Great food. Community lunch on Monday through Friday from 12:15pm - 1:15pm and community food bank on Monday through Friday, as of September 13, 2018. Closed holidays.

This place is wonderful. And they have free lunch for anyone n everyone from 12:15-1:30. N their food bank is open 2x daily Mon thru Fri.

Very clean and they have very nice workers. They offer little help but will point you in the right direct as long as YOUR trying they will not put you back on the streets.

Ive never been a client here but I lead a group on Wed. nights & from what Ive seen myself & heard from clients staying there, it really is a good place to go if youre struggling with an addiction, or you just need a safe place to stay while you get on your feet.
