Paid $100 to get TV fixed waited over four weeks to tell me I needed another part which would cost $250 more. I said keep it. then my dad dropped his TV off and experienced the same exact scenario but agreed to the $250 only to wait another 4 weeks to be told that he needed a back light which would amount to more than the extra $250. Sounds like BS to me. Don’t waist your money or time, just buy another TV.

I cant say enough about Tom and his crew at Laketon TV. My sister who lives in Monroeville called me last week to tell me her TV wasnt working (she lives alone) I live in Virginia. I went online and found Laketon TV and gave them a call, Tom (the owner) was fantastic! He filled me in on what brands they carried and said they would be more than happy to deliver her a new TV in a day or so. They showed up right on time and did a great job. This place treated my elderly mother horribly. She’s retired and on a fixed income and not only did they make her pay an install fee that they said was going to be free, but also refused to honor their ad for $200 gift card. She’s in the process of reporting them to the BBB for fraudulent business practices.

Here is the story of a consumer who trusted the business she bought from. NEGATIVE. After 14 months the dishwasher broke. Was told someone would come to my house between 5:00-8:00 today, October 26th. Guess what......no one called or showed up. STAY away from LAKEON TELEVISION AND APPLIANCE. YOU WILL GET BURNED.

Very professional! Gary took time to answer my questions when I called. TV was delivered the next day. John and Keith were excellent. Arrived on time and completed the installation in a timely manner. I will recommend to others.

We recently purchased all of our major kitchen appliances at Laketon Appliances on Frankstown Road in Penn Hills, PA. Tom was our sales rep. He was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We opted to make use of their option to pay no interest for 12 months same as cash. Tom set up everything promptly. Everything was installed and ready to go within 4 days! Awesome! The installers were wonderful and installed and had all appliances operating in a flash! We are so thrilled we went to Laketon Appliances!

I recently purchased a Whirlpool gas range to replace my 22 year old one. The price was very good and the delivery men were very friendly and efficient. I have purchased there in the past (over the range microwave and dishwasher) and will do so in the future.

Its better to buy another TV instead of getting ripped off here. Very sloppy. 100 $ for a technician charge which is ridiculous and another 100 for the part which sums to 200$ and the repair takes several weeks. Walmart sells brand new 4k TVs with deals as low as 220 bucks where you get a longer warranty.

Laketon continously keeps in touch, just to see how everything is. Usually you cannot reach an agent or anyone. I will continuously use my word of mouth to anyone that wants to buy or rent to own a tv or anything else. I have gotten a washer & dryer, going up today to get a New TV,. The customer service is AWESOME!!!!!

My name is Anthony and I took my TV here after taking it apart to see the extent of damage because they wanted 100 dollars to drop it off and look at it so after seeing it was just the screen nothing else. I took it in and paid them to fix it. They didnt call me I had to call them and they told me how it was beyond repair because theres more damage than just a screen. Meanwhile I personally seen the damage and would have done the repair myself but they wouldnt sell me the screen. Theres nothing broke besides the screen. They told me if I like I can buy a TV from them. As if Im stupid. Stay away from this place its a scam shop.

The guys gave me the best price on a Speed Queen washer. I searched and called every single dealer in 50 miles and they had the best price by $50. Their delivery was at a great price too.

Do not buy here!!!! My grandparents purchased a dryer from Laketon. They were asked to measure the opening, and unfortunately measured at the wrong place. When they came to deliver it they told my grandparents that they bought it, so they own it. The only solution offered was to give them a smaller dryer that was 125.00 less in cost, but they would have to pay another 50.00 for an additional delivery fee. After doing some research we also found the dryer that Laketon much cheaper everywhere else. I would never recommend or go back!

I called Laketon TV to see if they carried DLP bulbs for my 93 DLP TV. I was shocked they had it in the store. I didnt have to wait for them to order it. It was a little pricey vs the previous one that I bought on line but the one that I bought on line only lasted 4 months. It was a cheaper quality bulb. The service at Laketon TV was friendly, informative and fast. I am about to go there for my other DLP bulb thats in my in my family room. The products in your showroom are top notch too. Straight fraud they charged me 100 dollars and didnt even fix my tv! Then asked me do i want to buy one of theres? Trying to scam me twice.Dont go there! U wont get your money back are tv fixed.

Purchased a suite of appliances (refrigerator, stove, over the range microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal) in September 2017 and requested that the appliances be delivered on October 11 to coincide with a kitchen remodel. I was told that would not be a problem, that they are flexible and would accommodate my schedule (music to my ears). NONE of the five appliances were delivered/installed on time. Refrigerator and stove arrived 2 1/2 weeks PAST my scheduled delivery date and the dishwasher arrived/was installed damaged and Im being told it will be 6-8 weeks for it to be rectified. Then a week later, I get a call stating that someone from the appliance vendor will be in sooner to address the issue. With any luck Ill have it corrected by Christmas. Throughout the entire ordeal, the owner seemed indifferent with my frustration and concerns. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Total scam. Absolutely nothing they told me was the truth. I got hit with an installation fee and a more expensive cable package. They claimed I was eligible for a rebate from them to cover the difference in price, but I never received anything from them. Now I want to cancel my 1 year contract only to find they signed me up for a two year contract.I have been telling everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague.

I had a TV looked at by this place. When I got it back they had intentionally damaged the TV becasue I did not want to pay there high price to have it fixed. I ended up fixing it myself. I should have sued these basters. Im surprised they are still in business.

They were able to fix my flat screen t.v., when called Geek Squad they told me that my t.v. was junk even though only had one year and bought from best buy know was ask me about a warranty and children were being disrespectful, Laketon TV,Appliance fix it n didnt take long!

Just want everyone to know that a lot of the negative post to Laketon TV are from other dealers who can not compete. The problem is nobody checks to see if the post are true.

Was told one price got some thing higher, told I could have second service at summer home. When I called dish to install they said I have close home service to get other service. Was missled by laketon tv. price quote for internet was for dailup not fios so price was double. Should of stayed with comcast did not save any money. Dish equipment does not work all the time, freezes up.

If you want headaches and aggravation and to hear nothing but lies...Laketon TV is for you...good luck youre going to need it!!!
