I am coming up on my fourth week at this fantastic establishment and I can confidently say this is the BEST fitness experience I have ever had! The coaches are very informative, super helpful, and motivating too. Crossfit is a beast of a sport and you will get very, verrry sweaty BUT they make it so easy to do the modified movements and exercises which is a necessity for me personally. They even have challenges which is so much fun (just started one)! Its just very thorough all around the board and I am stoked to be a part of it πŸ’ͺ

I really can’t recommend Arsenal enough. Great community atmosphere, encouraging, and welcoming with newcomers. Everything you need to jump start a healthy lifestyle or renew your passion for fitness by trying something new. Be prepared to work really hard, but also have a ton of fun.

I have a background in weightlifting fairly seriously and going to private gyms my whole life. I just recently started going here and I have to say it is an awesome experience. The scheduling system + tracking system is really nice since it helps you keep track of your goals and makes the process a lot more than just showing up and doing a workout. Overall super happy 10/10 would recommend!

I’m coming up on my second year at Arsenal Strength as well as my second year of ever lifting weights as a workout, at 30+. The coaches have the patience to get you moving in the right direction and then can hit an entirely different gear to push you in ways you didn’t think were possible.Clean gym! Great owners! Great people!

I recently became a member of Arsenal Strength. All I can say is...WOW! Its been a great six weeks. Everyone has been so welcoming, friendly, and positive. The Nutrition Challenge has helped me focus on self-care, mindfulness, and consistency with my eating habits. The workouts are dynamic, challenging, and I am already seeing physical changes. I feel stronger and happier than I have in a while. Arsenal truly is an amazing group of individuals committed to inclusion, community, and better living through positive choices.

I’ve been a member at Arsenal for nearly 3 years and I absolutely love the challenge of the workouts, the close-knit community, and genuine welcoming nature of all coaches and members. In the last six months I’ve completed specialty programs in gymnastics and nutrition which both greatly improved my physical ability as well as overall wellness. Three years ago I was nervous that I was in over my head with CrossFit but from the first class the coaches and members reassured me that there is a level for anyone and everyone for every workout. I’m so glad I jumped in and never looked back!

I have been a member at Arsenal Strength for going on two years now. Many of these reviews will tell you how great the community, the coaching, and the extra programming is, so I wont. What I will say is if you have repeatedly failed at getting your fitness on track like I did, that your goals sound like Be fit/be healthy/lose weight but beyond that have no idea how to get there, then you need to come here.My idea of fitness was based entirely on the athleticism of my youth, a decade plus behind me when I started, and all I knew how to do in a gym was some cardio and do what it says on the machine. But when I came here, not only did I find a great community, the accountability and motivation to come regularly, and a whole different understanding of what being fit meant, it showed me what was possible. This is what power lifting is, this is what weightlifting is, here are skills that can only be acquired through an evolving set of steps until you achieve that goal. I didnt have to worry about setting goals in the beginning because you just show up and do the workout they give you, but over time I learned what goals I WANTED to set, and they gave me the space and support I needed to pursue them safely. At the end of the day, if you already had specific goals and a concrete plan to achieve them, you wouldnt be reading this review. You are like I was, with a vague idea of what you want and no idea how to get there. And there is no place like Arsenal to show you the way.

Arsenal Strength is one of those places that literally becomes like a second home. Not just because of the workouts but mainly the people that make it so great. I have never felt more welcomed and supported. I have tried every type of gym membership and although I received a good workout it never made me want to come back. Arsenal and the people that make it so special make me never want to take a day off. On top of the great workouts, competition, and camaraderie it also offers nutrition coaching. I just completed a six-week nutrition challenge at Arsenal and saw results I thought I could not achieve. The best part of the challenge was learning how to have a healthy relationship with food that I can sustain. I recommend everyone try this place out and you will not be disappointed!

I’ve been a member of Arsenal Strength for almost 3 years and I continue to learn and grow each day. The coaching is top notch, the extra classes and support are unparalleled and the community is like family. I recently completed a nutrition challenge and have totally reset my relationship with food in just six weeks. I’ve been given the tools to not just succeed while actively participating in the program but turning subtle changes into a lifestyle. I’ve never felt positive in my eating habits and I finally feel like I have control. Just another reason to love this place!

I can’t believe I found a gym where I actually enjoy working out. The workouts are challenging but have helped me push myself far beyond what I ever thought I was capable of. The coaching staff is very knowledgeable and encouraging toward everyone. They spend a lot of time breaking down the movements in each workout to ensure that everyone can safely do their best and avoid injury all the while having fun.Unlike any other gym I have tried, Arsenal offers a nutrition program. Rather than promoting β€œlose weight fast” or special shakes, the Arsenal nutrition program helps you change your habits toward food in ways that are sustainable for the rest of your life. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

I just recently became involved with Arsenal Fitness while participating in their Fit for Fall Challenge and it’s really been a great experience. I’m always intimidated to try new things, especially involving fitness, but this is a great community. The coaches are welcoming and encouraging, especially Liz, who was a great leader for the program I participated it. I’m taking away many positive results and changes to my diet and lifestyle. Looking forward to much long term success with the foundation that was formed during this challenge.

I’ve been attending CrossFit classes for two years at Arsenal. I have found the coaches to be great athletes and teachers. The facility has all the equipment needed for a great workout. The staff are encouraging and positive. I just completed their Fit for Fall nutrition challenge where the focus was on making habits and choices that support healthy eating rather than simply providing you with a diet. I learned a lot and am glad I took the challenge.

Ive been a member at Arsenal for 3 1/2 years, my second longest relationship ever. I started at Arsenal shortly after completing a half marathon in 2016 and proclaiming Id never run again. When I moved, I actually based where I wanted to live on how quickly I could get to the gym, and I am by no means a gym rat. It was just the first place I felt like a part of something bigger, something meaningful, I was definitely right. I cant say enough good things about the arsenal community, it continues to grow and evolve and is constantly improving. If you are looking for something that youre going to stick with, look no further. Youll have all the support and guidance you could ask for.

I just started here. If you want to move on to the CrossFit (which they call Metcon) classes, you first have to have four sessions one-on-one with a trainer. I really enjoyed the personal training. My trainer helped me with techniques and showed me the proper ways to do things so I don’t get hurt. But she also introduced me to an alphabet soup of whoop a$$ each session, and it was awesome to push myself like that. I’m really looking forward to some more hard workouts in metcon and boot camp. (You don’t have to do the one on one if you just want to enroll in boot camp). Above all, I totally recommend this gym. Great people, easy parking, nice atmosphere, and the communication is amazing. Another shower would be nice though. But the one they have is nice and always clean.

I am just finishing up a Fit Challenge at Arsenal Strength. While this isn’t my β€œhome” CF gym I thought it would be a great experience to learn a few things from someone else in regards to nutrition. Wow was I and am I impressed!!!! The level of engagement I received through these 6 weeks is indescribable! While I have always β€œdieted” and eat pretty healthy, working with the Arsenal team really made me more aware and kick a few of my β€œbad” habits to the curb.I would highly recommend checking out Arsenal if you are looking for nutrition coaching - coaching that is personalized and realistic! You won’t be disappointed!!!

A great gym and very supportive environment. I have been a member for a year and a half and have been consistently going 4 to 5 days a week. Before this I have not stuck with any other form of exercise for more than 6 months. All the coaches really want to set you up for success. Contrary to popular belief you don’t need to be in shape to start just the desire to improve your fitness level wherever it may be.

Brooks and his team at Arsenal went out of their way to make me feel like I was a part of the family. I was always very intimidated by CrossFit previously and never thought I could β€œdo it.” I signed up for the β€œNew You” 6-week challenge in the summer of 2016 and was very nervous but excited. Much to my surprise, I had nothing to be nervous about. There is a great emphasis on proper training techniques while at the same time motivating you to work harder. While I am not a regular member, I would have no hesitation recommending Arsenal Strength to any of my friends who are looking to get into CrossFit in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Arsenal Strength is my home away from home. I’ve been a member for nearly 3 years and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join. The close-knit community does such a great job of welcoming anyone who walks through the door, no matter the skill level or experience. It honestly feels like a family to me. The coaches are motivational and informative, really emphasizing technique and also constantly reminding everyone to enjoy every moment. They have really helped me make great strides in my physical fitness, as well as my own self-doubts when I feel like giving up on a workout. I would recommend Arsenal Strength to anyone and everyone.

Ive been doing Crossfit for a few months and it has definitely helped me to get on the path to being in shape. Ive always struggled with being consistent with working out but the environment here actually makes me want to go back each week. I have been a member at Arsenal Strength for 4 years, and before joining I never would have imagined that my gym would become a home to me. I was terrified of the idea of joining Crossfit, but knew that if I couldn’t commit to joining the closest gym to me that I would never make serious changes.I just finished the Fit for Fall Nutrition Challenge and after participating in almost every challenge over the years (Whole Foods, Paleo, Carb Cycling, Macro Counting) I can say that this has been the best one yet!I have been a yo-yo dieter my entire life, and while I have no problem walking into the gym for class 4-5 times a week, I still struggle with properly fueling myself outside of the gym. I have historically had the all-or-nothing mindset when it comes to nutrition, but this challenge was a great start to break down that mentality of falling off of a fictitious β€˜wagon’.The InBody Scanner makes all the difference in my eyes! The scanner does a full body composition analysis which shows progress beyond what the scale says. I can’t wait to continue to track my progress and make memories with the amazing group that I now call my family.Cheers to another 4 years!

I attended a free class after a recommendation from a friend last month and really loved the atmosphere, the people, and the workout. I signed up for their summer shred program and showed up the first day to find that the classes were cancelled and no one sent a cancellation email. I was told that there were only two spots left by the owner for the class so I would have never expected it to be cancelled. As it turns out, I was the only one who signed up according to another person at the gym. I couldnt move the class to the other time slots/days so I had to ask for a refund and was offered no other solutions except to pay another $125 on top of the $299 I already paid to do an onramp and regular membership or wait until September to start. I didnt appreciate the lack of respect for myself, or my time, and intend on signing up at a different location. They got two stars because the first experience was so great.
