Nate (owner of Above and Beyond Computers) truly goes above and beyond! He has helped me on several occasions both over the phone and in person (he actually drove to where I was) if anything goes wrong with my computer. He always says anyone can sell you a computer, but I will be there if things go south/if you need help with the machine. 100% would recommend!

This team is the best in Pittsburgh. Theyre very professional but also personal in that they care about you. I dropped my laptop in the summer of 2019 after becoming a new mom, and this damaged the batteries turning my laptop into a ticking time bomb.Now I use my laptop for both full-time work and personal use, and they were so accommodating in my schedule and were able to apply temporary fixes so I could still work while waiting for parts to arrive.Just this past summer, the screen started to pop off. In last years repair, the screen had to be removed to access the batteries, and it turned out that the adhesive just wasnt working well enough. Nate reapplied adhesive to fix my screen FOR FREE, saying it was attributed to his repair work from over a year earlier. It was an unexpected surprise. I was already planning to be a lifelong loyal supporter of this local business but this kind act really cemented my choice for why I wanted to be.

Dropped my computer off to have it checked for viruses and get help with my bios. The one employee Kory didnt even look at my computer and gave me the excuse that when he tried to turn it on it smelled like it was burning. He then said he would need to rewire it. Keep in mind that this is a brand new computer and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it mechanically. They also suggested that I get rid of my liquid cooling setup and install air cooling instead, which if you know what youre talking about is absolutely ridiculous. I never got help with my bios and my computer was never looked at for viruses as far as I know.

Nate and the Above and Beyond Team are supper helpful and friendly. They helped me build my first gaming, and streaming PC and walked me through every step. I had a million questions and they answered them all. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I am not an especially techie person and yet their explanations were made very clear without being the least bit condescending. I have even called and asked for advice when I got what I suspected was a scam email and was given wise advice and couldnt have been treated with more kindness. Above and Beyond was not able to fix my problem actually, due to a part that is no longer available. They refunded my money in full, despite the fact that they had spent considerable time and effort on it. I greatly appreciated that. I have found their staff to be both helpful and knowledgeable. A & B performed my annual maintenance with their normal professionalism. I then wanted to send the tower out of town. The owner spent quite a bit time to answer my questions and explain different computer equipment to me even though the parts I needed to get my laptop repaired was not available because my laptop was too new. He was really patient with me. I feel like I can trust this store to have my computers repaired here in the future. I will likely come here for service next time. I had two PCs repaired at the store on Library Rd before they moved to this new address. They fixed my two PCs, replaced my failed hard drive in one of them. I am happy with the work they did. I was recently helping my friend build his first PC. However, he forgot to order a CPU cooler so I went to Best Buy and they were out of stock. In a rush, I stopped by this computer shop. The man at the counter greeted me and after hearing my situation, he grabbed a CPU cooler and gave it to me for free. Great experience and will definitely stop in again

I initially went to A&BC to have a laptop unlocked. A friend had sold me his ASUS laptop. It had been sitting in the original box long enough hed forgotten the password. Within 5 minutes one of Nates techs had it unlocked and running ... at no charge.A month later I was back when my PC wouldnt boot. Id built it myself and had managed to completely smash down the pins on the motherboard when I installed the CPU. Nate diligently tried to bend the pins back into place and reinstall the CPU but was unsuccessful - again ... no charge. He then had me order a new mobo and have it sent directly to the store where he had it & a custom light strip installed in a matter of days at a very reasonable price.Bypass the big box stores and their squads and support a great local business that genuinely cares about its customers. You wont be disappointed. I know I never have been.

Above & Beyond Computers was recommended by Bethel Park Facebook page. I am so happy they did! They were able to fix my problem very quickly, and were so nice to deal with. I highly recommend this business for all computer needs. They also helped me with the recycle of my old unit, which as you know, it is sometimes very hard to find someplace to take it. VERY easy to find in Lebanon Shoppes - right beside the dry cleaners. There is even marked parking places specific for their business right outside the door, so you dont have to drive around and around to find a place close enough that carrying equipment is not a problem.

There was an issue with service with the second laptop, but the owner made sure to rectify the issue and promptly responded to ensure that it would never happen again. Approximately 9 months ago i was in need of a new laptop with camera capabilities in order to engage in church work via Zoom. I bought one computer from them and had them rebuild the operating system on another. All went very well. I signed up for one of their Defender plans and needed to use it only once but that one time was well worth it: I destroyed part of my computers file system and called Nate. He logged in remotely to my computer and while I was on the phone with him resolved the problem quickly and easily. Moreover, as part of that service Alexis called me once and told me that my C drive was too full and recommended that I offload things like old videos, which I did.

Ive been using Thinkpads for 20 years, and tend to hang onto them for a long time. Its rare that they need service, but I had a T420 that just completely locked up one morning - power, but no other response. I got in touch with Above & Beyond, dropped it off and they had it fixed within two days, and for way less than what I thought it would be. Great attitude, and very knowledgeable as well. Ill definitely go back if I have any more laptop issues.

One always worries about computer repair but these guys were great. They fixed out sold state years ago and the computer is still running like when we got it back from them. When they were done, it actually ran better than new. Honest and affordable. Great work.

I am an old geezer and never learned to type let alone take a computer class. My last computer was almost 10 years old (Thats 107 in people years.) Without talking down to me, Above & Beyond set me up with a new computer, transferred my old stuff, and had me up and running in a couple of days. And, at a price i consider very reasonable. I recommend buying one of their Defender packages even if you are somewhat knowledgeable about computers because they are totally knowledgeable. I have used their Defender help in the past, and today Alexius quickly resolved a problem by logging in remotely to my computer and clicking on one setting.

Due to a power surge last February, my computer “died” at the beginning of the Covid shutdown. I tried numerous sources to get help to no avail. A couple of years ago I bought a desktop from them at their old location. A month ago my computer started running slow so I took it out to them to do a little housekeeping on it. When I picked it up just a day later, I was talking to Nate about getting a laptop for when I travel. He showed me several different models and I went home to think about it. Picked a laptop up last week from them and got a great deal on it! I tell my friends about them too if they are looking for a computer or need some repair on theirs. They are so much better than trying to deal with Geek Squad or worse. Plus when you go to the shop, you can pet Olio, the big baby!

I had a horrible experience with HP. With dogged determination, Nate tried mightily to secure parts, as did I, from HP, but to no avail. Nate suggested that for only a bit more money, I could purchase a Lenovo ThinkPad. I did so, and Alexius cloned my hard drive, and loaded up the Lenovo. I did not lose one bit of functionality. I recommended them without hesitation.

They were extremely professional and expained everything they are planning on doing with my desktop to find the problem I was having. They contacted me within 1 day with what I needed to do with my desktop. I have them to OK to proceed and within a business day I had my Desktop fixed. They only charged me for the parts I needed to replace. I reccommend them for all your computer needs.

I was happy to find that the former TRU computers and now restructured business as Above & Beyond Computers has relocated to the Lebanon Shops on Mt. Lebanon Blvd. I purchased my Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop from TRU and got a good recommendation and the laptop has been trouble free. In the event that I do ever have problems, I am glad that Above & Beyond is available locally to help.
