I took my car to Distinctive Detailing for the Gold package, and was thoroughly impressed. I had previously taken it to get detailed at 2 different places, and both times they ended up returning it to me unfinished because of the absurd amount of dog hair. Distinctive Detailing was totally upfront and clear about the excessive dog hair and the fees that come with it, but was up to the challenge. When it was returned to me it was beautiful, smelled fresh and clean, and they didnt make me feel ashamed of having a very hairy dog!! Success!!! 10/10 would recommend. Excellent service. Worth every penny.

Got my wife’s car detailed as a mother day gift. She had pet hair and paw prints all over the car from our 2 Australian Shepard’s. Distinctive detailing was able to clean the interior and make it look like new again. Ran into a time issue but the staff was very friendly and accommodating and we were able to figure out a solution. Will be doing business there again.

Preparing to drive our son’s car out to Boulder, CO and decided to treat his heavily-used 2001 Toyota Highlander to some TLC. Our (formerly) usual detailer had no availability, so we turned to Yelp and found Distinctive Detailing. From an easy-to-use online reservation platform to their personable team to the courtesy call letting me know the car would be ready in 30 minutes, the process was excellent. Most importantly, they did a great job on a difficult “canvas” restoring much of the car to its former glory and paying attention to all the important details. We’ll definitely return with our vehicles.

Mike at Distinctive Detailing was amazing! Him and his crew made our Mazda CX-5 look sooo good. They were on time and great at communication. The car looks incredible and I couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend the Silver Package if you need that great once over! Maybe a higher one if your car is really scratched or really dirty.

I couldn’t be happier with the job the guys at Distinctive Detailing did. When I dropped off my car I took one last look inside and it was not good. I have 4 year old twins and if you think you know how messy a car can get with children, picture that, then double the mess. I was embarrassed at how dirty is was and thought I might vacuum it before I dropped it off. I didn’t. When I got the text that they were finished, it was only 3 hours after I dropped it off. I got to the garage and it was literally like they went and bought me a brand new car! I couldn’t believe it. They were so thorough that as they were backing it out, the driver noticed a spot that had been missed on the back seat and rushed to get to it before I got in. I’m beyond happy with the work they did. Also the price that was charged, I chose the silver package, was an incredible value. I can’t imagine what you get with the gold service? This place is such a great find!! Not only did they give me a great deal for an aged food and grease spill in my trunk but they repriced my estimate once they say it wasnt that bad. Because they were so honest I ended up getting the inside detailed along with my trunk and Ive been driving my car for a week and its genuinely like a new car. As always, the Distinctive Detailing crew was friendly, thorough, and efficient. Its super easy to book online so you can even schedule a service the night before, after hours, like I did. Being located in Lawrenceville gives you a nice area to walk around and do some shopping or relax at a coffee shop while your car is being cleaned. I got a text letting me know that they would be finished in about 15 minutes, so I was able to wrap up what I was doing and make my way back to the garage. They walked me through what they did to clean and showed me all of the interior so if I had any concerns they could deal with them. Awesome job. My car looks brand new!

This was my first time having my car detailed and I could not be more satisfied! I took my vehicle in after a weekend of camping (aka dirty and full of mud, wood chips, etc.) and got it back within the scheduled timeframe looking amazing both inside and out. I had a two hour appointment scheduled for my cars interior to be completed. I was told that I would receive a phone call when the car was done. I came back after the 2 hour appointment time had concluded, and they told me the car had just been started and it would be another hour. There was another car ahead of me and the employees had just come back from their lunch break. I asked for my car back because I needed to go to work. One of the gentlemen told me I didnt say anything about needing to go to work. Why should I have to tell you where I am going later today when I scheduled an appointment? 2 hours is sufficient for interior detailing. This appointment should have been honored. They complained to me that the company frequently schedules appointments during their lunch break. How would I know that?? Some of the men apologized, others were complaining about me as if I wasnt in ear shot. One man was saying my appointment time wasnt until later (which was incorrect), so I made sure to show my email confirmation to all the employees working on my car. One gentlemen mansplained to me that car detailing can take longer than two hours, to which I responded that the company should make the appointment times longer and none of this should be blamed on the customer. I left with the seats soaking wet from the beginning of them being cleaned.

They did a great job! My car needed an interior detailing bad... Distinctive detailing got rid of the stains and did an awesome job vacuuming- they have great attention to detail and are also very friendly. Highly recommend!

I thought it was hopeless, but Distinctive Detailing saved me: they managed to get my car looking like new again (and even buffed out a few old scratches as a bonus). When I didnt hear back from him (my emails apparently had been going into his spam box), I decided to message him through Yelp and was able to book an appointment for this past Saturday morning. Took the car in and had it serviced while I went and ran other errands. By the time I got back to pay, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of detailing he had done with my cars interior (Gold Interior). Not only was it thoroughly clean and smelled very fresh, but if one were to look on the inside, one would think it was like a new car that came off the lot at an auto dealership. In general, this is a high quality auto detail place. Owner was friendly, patient, professional, and prompt in answering my correspondences with him. Use Yelp Message to avoid having your emails go into his spam inbox. Cannot recommend him enough for a well-done high quality auto detail.

I sent my JGC here for a Gold detail, Im very satisfied with their work, the paint feels very smooth and shinny after the polishing, small scratches were removed, they took care of the interior really carefully, even the little rocks stuck in the seat vent were removed, totally worth the money.

I was able to make an appointment quickly - I called on the weekend and got an appointment for Tuesday. I dropped the car off Monday evening and picked it up Tuesday evening after work (I work until 5) which was really helpful for me. Ive never had my car detailed before so I cant really compare the results but I was happy with the way my car looked! I noticed some reviews mentioned that you need cash or check but I dont think that is the case anymore as I paid with a card.

My wife and I had both of our cars detailed with the interior/exterior gold package. When I picked them up, my Subaru Crosstrek looked brand new. I actually cringed getting into the car because I didnt want to mess it up. Great service on the detailing side and the customer service end too. I have no experience with other detailing companies, and now I probably wont since Ill continue to use them.

My husband recently had our newly-obtained 2002 car detailed by Pete and Nick at Distinctive Detailing. He ordered the gold level, which cost $250. The car, pre-detailing, was simply filthy, not having been cleaned inside since it was bought in 02. He found Pete to be notably friendly, polite, and eager-to-please. Although I cant evaluate the cleaning of the motor, etc., I can say that the cleaning of the exterior and the passenger compartment were superb. The carpets, which had been dark gray with filth, were restored to their original tan. Grimy leather was made close to dealers-lot new. Stains and gook in cupholders, side compartments, and so on disappeared. The car smelled fresh. The finish shone. At first I didnt recognize it as our own. I recommend this business highly. Be advised that it is at present housed in a small garage and not easy to find -- pay attention to Petes careful directions.

They realized that I was unsatisfied and offered to make it right by going over the cars interior again, along with also detailing the outside of the vehicle FREE of charge. We scheduled an appointment and they had my vehicle for approximately six hours to complete the job. I can now say that it looks wonderful! I knew my car needed a good wash, however, it came out looking pretty spotless. The stains that I was concerned about in my previous post were GONE. They even took the liberty of putting my seat covers back onto my front seats for me and placing the floor mats back in. I am absolutely satisfied with their work ethic and their commitment to keeping the customer satisfied. I highly recommend going to Distinctive Detailing. Just be sure to speak up about what you want done and what youre expecting. They are only human. Ill be sure to be going back next time I decide to get my car detailed! Thank you so much!!ORIGINAL POST:I got the gold interior which is priced at starting at $125-- mine came to $171 with tax. The description of this service reads as *price dependent on size of vehicle. Cloth seats swept and sanitized. Leather seats cleaned and conditioned. Completely vacuumed, including hard to reach areas. Carpets spot cleaned and shampooed to remove dirt and salt. All surfaces cleansed and conditioned Windows cleaned inside and out. Fresh scent applied.The description is incorrect in that they do not clean your windows on the outside. Also forewarning they do not have any seating or waiting areas so you should make plans to have somewhere to go or a ride until it your vehicle is ready. They recommended a cute coffee shop that was reasonably priced and cool atmosphere down the street. I do have a dog so I am aware that there was added cost due to getting rid of the dog hair and some minor stains on the seats, however, I was surprised to hear how much the cost increased as a result of these factors.I was expecting my entire seats to be completely brand new looking, however, there were still large stains remaining on the side of the backseat and around the seat belts in the back. There was some cleaning residue on the front passenger door as well that I needed to wipe down myself after leaving. They wiped down my old floor mats and seat covers which was very nice of them, but this time would have been better spent on cleaning the stains on the seats, in my opinion.Overall the car looked very clean. I was expecting the black interior on the dash to be shiny and spotless however it had a lot of dusty looking residue left. I feel as though Distinctive Detailing is better aimed at customers who regularly detail their vehicles and not someone who neglects the detailing for months. Overall I am satisfied, however I do not like the ambiguity associated with the price increase. I would like a written statement that explains the increase in price and shows a cost analysis of what they charge and why.I left feeling a bit uneasy. It got the job done, but definitely not to the satisfaction of someone with OCD tendencies. The detailer claimed he got approximately 95% of the stains out but I would have to argue that these were pretty superficial stains in comparison to the stains that caused me to reach out to a detailer in the first place which were left looking untouched.I probably will not return to Distintive Detailing and will instead search for other options in the area that have fixed prices.*End of Original Post*

I am super picky about my car (BMW 428xi) and I have had a few less than stellar experiences at the dealer with detailing. After my dog jumped on my car I needed an exterior detail and to try to buff the scratches out. Searching online, I found Pete online and read all of his great reviews. I contacted him via phone the next day and he got me in the shop in 2 days. My car was done in a few hours, he even offered to order me an Uber ride back home. Picking up the car was so exciting, it looked beautiful. Pete is one of the nicest guys and has a huge passion for what he does. I will recommend him to all my friends and will be returning in the spring for another detail.

Pete is Awesomel! I text messaged him initially and he responded very quickly. I had asked him to do a custom job for me after a DIY EPIC Failure ( LOL) that had nothing to do with what he actually does and his business but with his talent and his love of cars he showed absolutely no hesitation in taking on the project.
