I am incredibly pleased with the service I received from American Tub Reglazing. Blaise was on time, prepared, and did a beautiful job. My tub edge was horribly chipped from sliding glasss doors and he said in the beginning that he may not be able to repair all of them. He did! He sprays the finish instead of rolling and my 50 year old tub looked brand new when he was finished. He was neat and left everything spotless.I cannot recommend highly enough.

Blaise was hired to reglaze our tub. He did show up when he was supposed to and did the work that he agreed to do. However, the quality and follow up was very poor. After he left I inspected the tub and there were runs in the reglazing and specs of dirt and dust. I probably could have done better myself with a DIY kit. I called him and he said that he could fix it. He did come back one time and did seem to resolve some of the specs of dirt but after he left the 2nd time nothing had been done with the runs. There were runs all over the inside of the tub -- it still looked like a very poorly done paint job. So I called him again. He said he would come back and fix the runs. However, never showed up even after a few phone calls.I really hated to post this review because I have a lot of respect for small businesses and people working hard for themselves but the quality of work and lack of follow up was just too poor for me not to let others know. After about $500 the tub does not look very good. The picture below is after he had been there the 2nd time.

VERY unsatisfied with this business!! First off, I called, and set a date, and the gentleman said on the day he would be out he would call at 9 am to let me know he would be coming. Didn’t call until 10:15. Needed directions to my house, which is fine. Didn’t show up for over 2 hours (around 12:30). Came up and looked at my tub and said he couldn’t work on it today due to the fact it was painted and would call me back to set a date to reschedule in two days to work on my bath tub. He never followed up! VERY unprofessional!!

Blaise refinished my tub in Nov 2019, he did an excellent job. The work is quality and is definitely worth the money to spend vs. replacing a tub.

Agree with previous posts, lousy business skills. Made a high priority to put us on his busy schedule. We had to call him the day of to remind him we were on the schedule, then the day of said he couldn’t do the work cause of injury, showed up 2.5 hours later to look at the job, wanted to know how he was getting paid, and said it was a two day job he would call back with another two days. This was after speaking to him twice a month in advance. Left two more messages no return call. Would not recommend to any real estate or contracting professionals.

It was by chance that I reunited with a neighbor from years back. I had contacted him for reglazing a tub,and he responded within a given time frame. He worked throughout the day, completing a remarkableoutcome.. I was pleasantly surprised.. Blaise delivered what he claimed. The tub color changed from green to white , with his expertise. I will say Blaise is very professional, and even added a little extra at no charge.I am completely satisfied with the quality results and fair price. Blaise was flexible with his scheduling, very personable and did and amazing Job on my old worn tub at a fraction of what would have cost to replace it. He masked off the entire bathroom to avoid any over-spray. It’s refreshing to deal with a hometown small business owner who can deliver incredible results. Does a decent job -- if you can get him to answer your phone calls or call you back. Good technical skills, lousy business skills. Im a contractor and Ive used this guy before with good results, but its just not worth the effort of getting his attention. Ive moved on to other suppliers.

Blaise was very polite the entire time he worked on my bathroom. He went above and beyond and took great pride in his work. It is quite refreshing to see someone work hard and put quality above all else. I actually paid him more than he billed because he definately did more than what was invoiced.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.I set up an appointment over a month ago to have Blaise/American Tub Reglazing strip and reglaze my bathtub. I took off work and he never showed. No call. No text. No apology. Most unprofessional business owner Ive ever dealt with. I would leave no stars if google allowed that.

Blaise was very professional and took the extra time necessary to get it right. Our tub was looking pretty bad and Blaise made it look like new. I would recommend American Tub Reglazing without hesitation.

We had our tub reglazed in May 2014. Blaise did a great job - looked brand new when finished.( Only one very tiny rough spot on side of tub and you cant find it unless looking for it. No other imperfections.) No odors from chemicals after the first day. He covered everything in the bathroom before starting the job and cleaned up beautifully. So far , so good. He did show up one hour late but called to let me know when he was coming. Basically, very happy with the job!

Offers a workmanship guarantee, does not stand behind it. Reglazed a tub for me several years ago. We followed all the care instructions and it still delaminated. After over a year of cancelled appointments, he showed up and admitted that the problem was the installation. Set up another time (again, months of phone calls) to reinstall. At that appointment, he removed the previous glaze and said that he would be in touch to set up a time to redo the work. He has never called or responded. Avoid.

He finally called me back after a week and I could not get a word in edgewise. Thanked me for talking to him and hung up.

The work was beautifully completed.

Over priced worst job 1000$ for the tub and 3/4 wall tiles after the job they will give you 2 pages what not to do you cannot even tape to touch up the wall painted that they messed I did that and the paint pile off basically it only for look don’t use
