Waitress was great and the days special was steak and lobster tail and both was cooked to perfection. Best medium steak ever.

Neil and Laura are very hardworking and kind people. They are quick to fix any problems you experience during your lease. They have many beautiful properties to choose from. Neil is very reasonable and is willing to work with you in your situation. I would rent again with no hesitation.

The worst management I have ever dealt with. Slow to respond. Did not disclose they were doing short term rentals in one of the apartments, so there were strangers in and out all the time. A pipe broke in the top apartment (short term rental) and flooded the rest of house, 4ft diameter hole in the kitchen ceiling, putting us out of the apartment for nine days while random construction workers were in and out of the apartment and Neal claimed the house was completely livable and there was no reason to expect comped rent. The final straw was one morning when I woke up to keys in the lock and construction men walking into my apartment, without any warning from Neal or Lora that construction was even happening on the house or in my apartment. The apology Neal sent blamed the workers. It was horrifying. I’ve never felt so unsafe in my own home.

I really enjoy working with these guys! Theyre so nice and work their butt off to make sure youre happy and needs are immediately taken care of. Theyre quick to fix anything and courteous. National Builders is a great management company and their renovations are modern & pretty. Couldnt be happier! Also, I know they inherited a lot of properties all at once, so I bet the uptick was what caused the negative reviews. In a few short months all of those concerns were put to rest. Just some awesome hardworking people :)

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. When I signed my lease I was welcomed to the family. The few times I contacted them regarding maintenance issues, they were handled quickly. Unlike many businesses where you feel like nothing more than their paycheck, National Builders treated me like a person. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good landlord.

Currently going through a period of adjustment and renovations, and several changes I didnt like, but fair enough since rent was not raised. Fair folks, very good with pets, and responsive to most issues. It is my belief they will continue to improve properties, etc in the months to come. I would recommend.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CROOKS. They are completely unprofessional. They do not respect contracts at all. They are verbally abusive and they discriminate against women and ethnic minorities. They will screw you over. They will not return your deposit. They will show up on a Sunday morning and launch insults at you. They have no idea how to run a business-- they only use paper correspondences which they then fail utterly to respect. They also take trouble care of the property, snoop, visit when they havent gotten permission, and perhaps even put an illegal kind of rat poison (anti coagulant) into a house with pets without telling us (a kind that is scented in a way that attracts pets)-- yes, they did this . In short, they have no respect whatsoever for renters rights, other people, or your pets. My guess is they will not be in business much longer. Stay far far far away.

Currently living in an NBAC apartment. So far, since new management has taken over theyve been prompt with repairs (Ive had a leaky toilet, some dishwasher issues, and I thought my furnace wasnt working... it was, oops). They are also making some renovations to make it easier for me to find a new roommate and putting in new windows. Theyve been good with my pets (I have a quirky cat who loves attention). Ill be here for at least another year (potentially longer), so I cant speak to the process for moving out yet but so far so good.

Neal and Lora couldnt have been kinder to my family. Anytime something went wrong with the rental which wasnt often the work was finished fast and right. Nothing but good things to say about them. Would rent again in the future without hesitation.

Best landlord in ALL of Pittsburgh, going on year 2 and as everything goes the rebuilding process was done Burgh style but Neal and Lora really do care for their tenants. I am a grateful & happy tenant.

Racist, rude, unhelpful, will never answer your phone calls or emails unless if you have a white name and they dont even have a voicemail. if youre an ethnic minority planning to sign a lease with them be careful because they may attempt to end your signed lease over the phone. If youre an ethnic minority still planning to rent from them, you better find a white person without an ethnic name to contact them for you, otherwise theyll take your deposit and you wont hear from them again

Horrible experience with this National Builders corporation. Not at all recommended to any student.The apartment is full of rodents and roaches, even after complaining so many times, the corporation did not respond well. We literally have to stay with rodents jumping in the house. We being girls feel terrible to stay in such an apartment, no action taken even after repeated requests to the Landlord. Moreover, they were rude and racist , do not even think of renting apt with this corporation.

If i could give a zero, I would. the worst management ever! never listens to your complains and extremely rude!They are extremely racist-- told us that the smell of our food attracts pests . no kidding! they actually said that .. stuck on the lease with them. cant help but stay. DO your self a favor- do not rent from them !

I had very difficult living situation and they were amazing from my move in to my move out in terms of flexibility and helping me with all things that come up when relocating... Should I rent in the future National Builders will be my first call!
