Justin and his associates did a fantastic job replacing two 22 year old furnaces and air conditioners in our home. They were very professional and coordinated with my construction of a raised platform for the condensing units seamlessly. The upstairs unit is shoe horned in to a bedroom closet, and they handled that difficulty without complaints.I have used Schultheis Brothers for maintenance over the years and had them perform some duct modifications required by my recent kitchen renovation. After seeking out (literally) dozens of quotes for a roof and gutter replacement I ended up going with Schultheis Bros. Their price was reasonable and the work was done quickly. On the day they came to do the roof, full crew and everyone was at my house early in the morning and a light rain started. They didn’t feel comfortable doing any work (even though the drizzle was light) during that time and promised to come back the next day (which was supposed to be much nicer). I really appreciated that, some roofers may have tried to work in the rain which would have lead to problems. They showed up promptly the next morning and worked tirelessly from the early morning until the sun set.They came back the following day to finish up the roof and install my gutters. Both ended up exactly how I wanted-quick and great work with VERY minimal debris in my yard (I have 2 dogs and was worried about finding nails-I believe I only found 2-3 nails in a year).I wanted to get some dormers replaced the following year and I didn’t even hesitate to just call them and get a quote without going through all the places I called originally.Overall a great experience.

Our in-line hot water heater has had two recent (but separate) issues (after 11 years without an issue, we were due!), and both times I called Schultheis, Marcus responded and was at my house within 2 hours to repair the problem. Not only was he prompt, he was polite and knowledgeable about our water heater. As my kids are in the middle of 3/day practices for high school, we all appreciate having hot water to take showers!

Clark and his team spent about 3 days on our roof replacement and box gutters. It was a big project which included steep pitches, relining difficult box gutters all in a very tight and confined space. The crew was extremely clean and punctual. While there were a few dings to some landscape lighting (to be expected with 23 square of roofing being removed and replaced by hand and ladder) Clark repaired all. Thanks again for a great job. What a great choice we made when deciding to hire Schultheis! They actually did two roof installations for us. The team was on time, very professional, and completed the job without a glitch. The support and response from management was superior. Multiple managers, including the owners, stopped by to check on the progress and offer support to their team. I called Schultheis Bros to reinstall a downspout that blew off during a recent windstorm and clean out the front gutter. While it took them a bit to respond, my service was finally scheduled and completed on April 11, 2021. My service was provided by Bob, along with a colleague. Not only did they arrive early (I was scheduled between 12-3pm; they arrive at 11am!), the job was done quickly and expertly. Marcus and Jeff did a fantastic job diagnosing the furnace problem, and replacing the old expansion tank with a new expansion tank that has an internal bladder. Schultheis Bros. installed a new furnace for me back in 2016 and its still working really well. I called on 1/29/2021 to ask a question regarding the flue liner, which they had installed in 2016. Schultheis Brothers installed a Mitsubishi Mini Split System for me earlier this year. Appointment was scheduled for a rainy day. They showed up ,on time , and explained that the weather was an issue, but would return on the next dry day. Sure enough, 48 hours later they were there as promised and completed the work in a day. Additionally, they offered and installed tan colored gutters which matched my house trim beautifully and saved us a major painting project. Wood was replaced as needed expertly, and clean up was completed. Very satisfied with the price and the job.

The next day a technician came out and found no cracked heat exchanger and proved no evidence of CO. I had a clean and check done on my Trane furnace as well as the filter changed on 2/3/2021. The price was great as was the purchase price of the Trane furnace in 3/23/2018; the estimate was the best. The service since the purchase has been exceptional.

We had a gutter problem--water pouring down from leaks during rain. We called and Schultheis came and fixed the problem--plain and simple. They had a local number listed, so we didnt realize there was some distance involved: Plum Boro to Greensburg. But that didnt seem to be a problem. Friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone. The cost was less than we expected.

Explained what he was doing since it was taking him a bit longer than expected. He found a few leaks and sufficiently repaired them and told me how to keep this preventing again. Thankfully for him I won’t have to worry about any leaks! Mike and the company were easy and great to work with. Highly recommended!

Schultheis Bros. did an excellent job on our roof! They were prompt at getting us an estimate, had us on the schedule within 2 weeks. The workers showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done. They did accidentally drop a ladder on my railing - during a horrible downpour at the end of the job - and did some damage - thus the 4 instead of 5 star review - HOWEVER, they told me to get an estimate and were very professional about it and covered the cost of the repairs without any questions. I would definitely recommend them for roof installation.

I’ve not had a worse experience with a company. I had someone come and assess damage from a power surge. The communication with the front desk to the people she was “giving the message” to was horrific. I did my best as a homeowner to be on top of the situation to get the hvac system installed as seamlessly as possible. The day they finally came to install it, the couldn’t finish bc the initial assessments (we had already had two people from the company to the house at this point) failed to note that the wiring of a 2020 install would require different things than my previous 2015 unit (also installed by this company). I had to be home from work AGAIN (now the 4th time) for the install to be completed. The tech came that day, was with the unit for 10 minutes and then notified me that “his boss had sent him with the women wiring options”... so now I had to schedule ANOTHER day home from work the following week so it could finally be finished. It then took them >4 weeks to mail me an invoice (dated day of completion) saying I would owe an extra 1.5% if paid after 30 days of invoice. Not only that, the invoice came with the name of the PREVIOUS owners on it and addressed to my boyfriend who does not own the house and merely helped with communication as they were terrible about phone calls and I work in healthcare where I cannot be on the phone with hvac all day. So now I will have to get this fixed for my insurance company to honor the claim, as NEITHER of the names on the invoice are mine - the homeowner and claim owner. Honestly the most horrific experience I’ve had since being a homeowner.. I would not recommend to anyone trying to prevent multiple headaches.

Our breaker broke and I was nervous going into upper 80s without the A/C. Katie went into the office over the weekend and had a vendor open up to get the part, then Jeff came over on Memorial Day to install the piece. Really appreciate the high level of service. Thanks guys!

I would gladly recommend Schultheis Bros. to anyone who would listen! I had such a great experience from start to finish. I have a house with radiators so central AC is not an option for me. I have been relying on window units since I moved into my house almost 5 years ago. When my downstairs window unit went last year I knew I would have to replace it. Because it is a casement window it is a special size and its almost impossible to find a unit with enough BTUs to cool the entire downstairs. Thats when someone mentioned the ductless mini split system to me. I researched the units and was looking for a reputable company to install one. My best friend could not speak more highly of Schultheis Bros. I called them and they went above and beyond to schedule a consultation around my work schedule. Tony came out and did the consult. He was wonderful! He answered all of my questions, did not try to upsell me, listened to my concerns and needs, and did not confuse me with HVAC jargon. I felt like a valued customer. And he gave me a very competitive price. And he gave me an estimate of 2 to 4 weeks for install, which was exactly correct. The two men who came to install were also great! They explained everything to me, showed me how to use the unit, and one of the guys even helped me dig up a plant that needed moved which would block the outside unit. And the other tech offered to remove my window unit and dispose of it! Such great service. And now my house is wonderfully cool, especially now that its over 90 degrees outside. The unit cools my whole downstairs and circulates air so well. I couldnt be happier with my whole experience!

We just had 2 new heat pumps and air handlers installed in our home. Rocco came out to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He measured everything and answered all of our questions. He made a couple of phone calls after the work was done to insure everything was still running well and we were satisfied.We had two installers come out. Andy and Justin. They were fantastic. They did a great job and were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Schultheis, and this team to anyone needing HVAC work done. And I would not hesitate to call them again if I need any other work done. We were extremely pleased with them. I believe we made a very good choice when we decided to go with them.

I had a Mitsubishi Mini Split installed several years ago and have not been happy since the day it was installed. The 2 installers had never installed one of these and were clueless. They installed the outside unit 90 degrees to the house sticking out in the yard. They wanted to install the inside unit against the vaulted ceiling. When I questioned this the installer called someone and moved it down some but I still thought it was too high. The unit neither heats or cools the area properly. When I first complained they sent a tech who walked in the room and the first thing he said was Boy is that high. He checked temp at unit and said it was at 72 degrees which is where the thermostat was set but the room was 62 degrees at ground level. The room temp in the summer is usually always around 10 degrees hotter than the thermostat setting.After numerous complaints to Schultheis and Mitsubishi they said we needed a remote thermostat which they did install at no cost to us but it didnt do anything to solve the problem. Schultheis quoted me a price of around $750 to lower the unit that they installed wrong in the first place. Schultheis will no longer even respond to our calls. BUYER BEWARE!!! Since my review of Schulties Brothers and their response I had 2 well known HVAC contractors look at my system. I told both that I felt the system didnt perform to my expectations. Both contractors came too the same conclusion, the indoor unit was too high too perform properly, which I complained about from the day they installed it, but lowering the unit would not solve my issues because the 12,000 unit was woefully undersized for the size and heating/cooling needs of the room. One contractor recommended a 24,000 btu outdoor unit and 2 12,000 btu indoor units. The other contractor a Mitsubshi Elite Diamond Dealer recommended a 30,000 btu outdoor unit and 2 15,000 indoor units. I went with the larger Mitsubshi unit which was professionally installed and after spending many thousands of dollars more I now have a room that can be enjoyed year round.

I would recommend this company anytime. They were quick getting to us in an emergency and were reliable on the follow ups. They were so easy to talk to and were very helpful. Rocco even offered to drop off extra space heaters until the installation date for us to stay warm. Their pricing was reasonable and I felt secure in what they explained to me. It was an enjoyable experience working with them. My dogs loved them all too!

We’ve used them for years. They’ve installed and routinely serviced our furnace and AC. Very very friendly service technicians. Especially Fernando and Mike. They are a pleasure to have in our home. They stood by their work too. When something went wrong with the Freon they put into the AC, Mike came back out twice and fixed it. No additional charge. Also, when there was a hiccup with an order (long story), one of the Schultheis family reached out to apologize and offered a free service call. It hadn’t even been that big of a deal and I had not complained, but someone internally had made the Schultheis person aware of the error. Accordingly, she took the initiative, even without me even complaining-to reach out. That is outstanding customer service. Again, kudos to Mike and Fernando for being great technicians in our home and treating our home and family and even our pets with respect. Would definitely recommend.

He was very courteous, prompt, and professional and was able to diagnose and fix the issue with our furnace within an hour. As we were facing sub-zero temps that night and the next day, I was very impressed that he had the part on his truck and had us up and running that night. The sales and purchasing process of our new A/C unit was a breeze and the install happened very quickly which came as a great relief to the family. When a few issues with the new unit did arise, a Shulthesis Bros. technician was sent out that same day. I was having problems with my HVAC not cooling the whole house. Tony came right out for a consultation to figure out what my options were. I didnt know anything about HVAC systems before, but he walked me through the different parts of the system so that I could understand what the problem was. He was extremely knowledgeable and actually came up with an immediate remedy. He gave me quotes for different options and timelines for how long each would take (new coil vs. new unit vs. mini-split/ductless) but in the end, the simplest solution worked! It turns out that if you dont have a lot of returns to help circulate the air, that you can leave the fan running and itll make a drastic difference! I was so happy with the service that I scheduled a consultation for my mom to meet with Tony since shes having a lot of trouble with another company. I would definitely recommend Schulteis Bros. and will be using them for my future HVAC maintenance and when I get around to working on the roof!

Our latest experience with Schultheis Bros was a service call to change the water panel on our whole-house humidifier. Jeff was able to come the day we called, and arrived on time with the part needed. Derrell, the technician who took care of our furnace was very professional, courteous and friendly. He took his time checking both our furnaces. He was respectful of our home “no shoes on carpet policy”, and did not leave any mess behind. His good manners, friendliness and professionalism gave a great face to this company. This positive experience convinced me to sign up for the yearly maintenance contract. Thank you for your good service.

Furnace stopped working on a weekend. Within 30 minutes of my 1st call to Schultheis Bros, Fernando arrived onsite. Quickly diagnosed the problem, found replacement part from van and installed it in no time. Top-notch craftsmanship and never overly heavy-handed. Since I am on their gold plan, I was charged regular rate instead of overtime fee.That said, their part pricing seems off. The price of the part varies greatly on the Internet but the vast majority of them were less than $100. None above $200. I got charged $234.All things considered I am satisfied with this service call. Timeliness and efficiency matter more than anything else when it comes to furnace repair, and Fernando nailed both.

We had an air conditioner added to an existing system and I could not be happier with the work that Schultheis Brothers did. They were knowledgeable, informative, honest and fair. Their work is quality and backed up with a guarantee. Even when there were some unforeseen complications with the installation they came to me with some good ideas and got the job done, on time, and right the first time.

Schultheis Brothers gave us the lowest estimate out of 5 local companies for a replacement A/C system. The technicians that installed were professional and knowledgeable. They worked quietly and without a hitch. The system is running perfectly.They even took time to teach us how to program the new thermostat and explain some details of their work. We would both recommend them and use them again.

I have found Schultheis Brothers to be an honest and reliable company. They have always provided excellent maintenance service to keep things running and comfortable in my house. May 2nd I purchased a new furnace and come late fall early winter the furnace was not working properly, I call tech came out but could not find the problem. Out of discuss I call and requested an appointment to purchase new furnace. Tech came out was quite negative about everything BUT promised me a quote by Dec. 28. Quote never came, no one called so Jan. 15th a called a competitor who found the trouble. Because I wanted nothing more to do with Schultheis Bros I bought a new furnace from another dealer. I did request they return my maintenance agreement deposit. I want nothing more to do with Schultheis. They do no follow up. Take you money and run. The competitor out did them in every aspect from beginning to end and plus follow up to the owner

Derrell was courteous, on-time, cleaned up the area and turned out all the lights. He did an tuneup on our furnace today. I asked him questions about our settings just to verify that we are doing things properly. He patiently answered my questions in laymans terms so I could understand,

Discovered a leak in the second floor of my house. Found this company to come out to see what was going on. They determined the flashing around my chimney was letting water into my home and the flashing needed to be replaced. They quickly scheduled this service to be done since I was concerned about damage to my ceiling. It has been about two weeks and I have noticed anymore water coming into my home.
