I only work there for a day. It was a mess in there. They put me to look for windows. I don’t know the sizes. When the windows come out from the production the windows automatically goes on the floor. There are these racks when the area gets to full. They will put it on there but they are mix numbers different color windows. They move the rack towards the back of the building and forget about it. I wouldn’t recommend working there.
My contractor placed an order with Cascade on June 24th and was assured the windows would be delivered in 6 weeks. In early AUGUST Cascade reported that it would be another couple of weeks. 4 of the 12 windows and sliders showed up shortly after that, but the other 8 are needed before drywall and paint can happen. In addition, NO ONE AT THE COMPANY WILL RETURN CALLS or TELL ME WHEN WE WILL GET THEM! In the meantime, all the subs are waiting and my house is a month behind schedule. Its the LACK OF HONEST INFORMATION..... Never will use them again!!!
I’ve been working here for a few weeks now. There is no management in the morning. No wonder Customers can’t get their windows. I’m thinking of quitting. Not a good place to work at I was at a better place before. I have two jobs easy money in the morning.
I ordered windows in April, 2021. To be delivered June 15th. I’m still waiting. I am the GC. I was forced to change my RO’s so I could buy windows from Lowe’s. So, now, I’m paying double for windows, I have damages, and higher labor expense! So totally disappointing. They won’t communicate to my supplier. Terrible frightening experience to not dry-in and be held hostage to Cascade!!!!!!Mark, the phone number is invalid! Cascade is so frustrating difficult to work with. How about a real phone number?
I was on second shift as a loader. They would never have anything ready for us to load. We had to work 15 hours to complete 1st shift work and ours. When something didn’t get loaded by us 1st shift complaint that they have to load it. Supervisors and managers would agree with them and take their side. Not a good place to work at for 2nd shift or overall.
I had a 5x6 window replaced under warranty and I must say the workers that showed up did an incredible job, they couldn’t have been more professional. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you Cascade
I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of the windows from this company. All of the windows in my brand new house look like they are old. The seals are dried out and crusty and are separated from the panes and in many instances appear to be bowed and or warped. Both Shea Homes and Cascade Windows are aware of the issues and Cascade refuses to take responsibility to fix them and its been over three months. #HomeBuyerRegrets :-/
I worked there and never got paid. When I called, I could never get ahold of HR. When I finally did reach HR after over a month I was told that a check had been issued. When I told them that was impossible because I’d never given them any bank info, they said a pay card was issued and activated. They are full of it and are crooks. I would never recommend them for products or as a company to work for. They don’t care about anything except the bottom line. They suck and I will be taking legal action. Companies like these are a big part of the reason unemployment rates are sky high.
I worked there for about 3 months. They treat their installers and service crew like trash. Especially service crew. I wouldn’t recommend working here as a installer or service crew or even buying their products. They expect workers to get everything done when they arrived at the job site. It’s possible a job can’t be done due to limit time or no material. Yet they still ask why you couldn’t get it done.
Easy on and out, crew is fast to unload, I had a positive experience at this place
Wonderful place, excellent service
We bought a brand new home . The only way in and out of the casita is the Cascade sliding glass door with a key lock. It is nearly impossible to work. The locking mechanism is not smooth. There is not enough room to put the key in and turn it. The frame around the door is getting nicks and scratches after 1 month of use. When I contacted Cascade for help the answer was unfortunately is the way the door is designed. That is ridiculous. You install a door that only cant be operated by the average person? You have to have super strength and tiny fingers! I would never recommend Cascade!
I’ve work there for 2 years and as installment and Service. I’ve never heard so much negativity. I never seen so many employees leave because or poor management. Unsupportive Service Management.
Felix was professional, kind, courteous and went above and beyond in repairing our windows.
Needed a window replaced ( seal failure) under warranty.I was quite impressed with the friendly, efficient ,professional service and employees at Cascade.Rachel in warranty was very knowledgeable ,thorough explaining the process with a friendly demeanor.George the window technician was polite, very professional, and explained the process of window removal and replacement .This was very welcomed. Thanks Cascade!!!
Thank you Richard ! for doing a great job for replacing our broken window with a new one. Very professional and accommodating .Thank you once again.
We purchased a new home from a builder that used this company for windows and bathroom vanity mirrors. The adhesive is bleeding through and very visible in the glass. The response from the Customer Service rep. is that we dont do retail work. This company DOES NOT provide any customer service what so ever!
No response from this vendor.
Sam Service Manager was Unprofessional. Yells at his employees while they are working. I work for another company out in the field as a painter. I’ve witnessed it myself. I’ve talked to one of his employees and said He is unable to drive and have another employee drive him around. What company would hire a guy who’s job is to help his employees out on the field and is unable to drive.
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SOME USED / SCRATCHED MIRRORS CALL THESE GUYS.WE HAVE HAD THEM IN OUR HOME 4 TIMES ALREADY TRYING TO REPLACE ONE MIRROR IN OUR MASTER BATH.WE ARE PRAYING THE 5th TIME IS A CHARM !!ASK FOR VERONICA. NO GUARANTEES AS PROMISED !!!!
Cant say enough about the great service. We had 2 leaky windows. I highly recommend Cascade for all your window needs.
Meike at Cascade was helpful and courteous. She explained the process and scheduled the appointment quickly.Andreas came out today to replace a piece of trim that had deformed. He was quick, efficient and friendly. We have had Cascade out three times and each time the work was performed excellently.
Super pleased, highly recommended! We had a warranty need for two windows (out of many) from our house built a number of years ago. Was a little nervous to see how that would work out - but to their credit, Cascade completely stood behind their windows. The process was smooth, quick, and highly efficient to get the new windows done and in. Id use them again without hesitation.
They should change their name to Cascade Window Frames. They do not warranty the glass. Many scratches on the multiple window glass when our home was built. They would not replace. The outside pane of our sliding glass door broke, when the AC kicked on and it was 116 degrees out. They said the glass must have had a scratch or some other defect but they would not warranty it. $1000 out of our pocket, and because know one makes glass with that lowE color anymore, it had to be custom made. Quality and integrity is long gone from this and most companies.
If zero stars was possible thats what they would get. We had a new house built and the contractor used Cascade windows. One of the windows is acrylic block. Its not my favorite but I was not going to change order to make it something different. It had a piece of molding come loose. Still under warranty they scheduled a time to come fix it. The time frame they gave me was 5 or 6 hours. So I sat home all day and waited for them to show up. They never did. They called back 2 days later... Apologized and rescheduled. Then they didnt show up after I donated another day to waiting on them. They Called back apologized and rescheduled. Did it again! The forth time they called back to reschedule I told them to pound sand. I wouldnt use Cascade windows if they offered to install my windows for free. Right now with so much construction its probably easy to find work and warranty doesnt matter to them. However one of these days the reputation they have built will sink them.
HORRIBLE METALLIC SCRAPING SOUNDS FROM MY VINYL-FRAMED SLIDING GLASS DOOR when the wind blows. I dont know if anyone else with a Cascade slider has experienced what sounds like metal-scraping when the wind blows, but I just received a response from corporate in Spokane stating that upon review of my video it has been determined that the horrible sounds are most probably being caused by dust trapped between the bead and the glass !!! If dust causes it, then everyone would be complaining. Needless to say, I will continue my case with corporate.(UPDATE) Two weeks after I filed this review, Cascade corporate has agreed to completely remedy my situation. I am very pleased with this outcome. Thank you Kristen, Sonya & Katrina -- great teamwork girls !!
Good very helpful love all their shades
Excellent job and craftsman work😊
Had a window gasket go bad and the window started fogging. Contacted Cascade and they agreed to replace the window under warranty. Everything was fine until the window was replaced. Supposedly, the specs are the same, but the window doesnt have any tint, like the original and the rest of the windows. Since I live in a sunny climate, the tint helps immensely with the sun, sort of like sun glasses. Well it seems they no longer carry Guardian windows and they dont seem to carry any other equivalent that has a tint. After going back and forth for a month, Im giving up. Never going to purchase from Cascade. I recommend you look elsewhere.
One of their trucks blew threw a yield sign and nearly ran me off the road then sped through a school zone. Probably why customers are getting scratched windows if their installers are driving like maniacs.
Can I give less than 1 star? In fact, they should owe me stars. We submitted a warranty claim after we realized that one of their windows they installed was too small for the opening. We are approaching a year now. They have sent out at least 3 separate individuals...and yet it is STILL not fixed. Look elsewhere!
We had cascade replace 9 windows in our house a few years ago, some as large as 10 x 12 feet. They were not the highest quality windows available, but we liked the sales pitch claiming lifetime warranty - including glass breakage - and the coloring of the glass and coating, which they sold as Cool Ray. The glass performed well, and for almost the first time since living in this house for 3 years, we needed to use the heat in the winter as the glass did a great job of blocking the heat from the sun. Our summer AC bills were pleasantly lower. The installation was far from flawless, requiring multiple trips to get the install to an acceptable (barely) level, but we were happy with the performance of the glass. Fast forward to our current addition project, in which we are adding about 60 pieces of glass between our windows and sliding doors. We suggested Cascade to our builder so that the windows would match, and the Cool Ray has very distinct features in terms of color, reflectivity, and light transmittance. We arrived home on the day the glass was being installed (in December 2018) and immediately noticed the glass being installed looked nothing like the glass that they had originally installed. When we raised this issue, we were informed that they no longer use that glass. Wait - you no longer use the glass that we want which is the reason we came to you to begin with? Our builder told us Cascade said the glass would match....So we start digging into the issue to see what the alternatives are. It turns out, the glass they were trying to install is nothing like the glass they did install. (If you want to find out for yourselves the glass performance specifications, Cool Ray is Guardian 55/27 on S2/3. They were installing.) The color is not the same, the performance is not the same, the reflectivity is not the same, the light transmittance is not the same. We spend the next 7 months (June 2019) attempting to reach a resolution that satisfied all parties, which we finally do. Cascade then took until December to make the new windows. A few days before the install, they demand the windows be paid in full, plus an up-charge for the different glass or they wont install the windows. Mind you, our project has now been delayed A YEAR over this issue. To keep the project moving, we acquiesce to their demands. Finally, on December 20, 2019 the windows and doors are going in!!! Oh, wait! They didnt bring the hardware they need to install 8 of the pieces, and broke another 8 on the way... That is OK, Im sure they will make this right and make the 15 min drive back to their factory to pick up the proper hardware to get the glass installed to make the house weather-tite, which it has not been for the last year. No? We need to get back on their schedule which is currently running weeks out? Like how many? 3?... So 4 weeks later we deny the charge on our credit card for the windows - since clearly paying up-front didnt work. To date, Feb 1, the windows are not installed. Oh, I forgot to mention, the lifetime warranty - naw, that is not the same either.Hopefully if this tale of woe does not dissuade you from using Cascade, your experience will not be a horrid as ours.
A great company with helpful staff. They provide services to accommodate all your window and glass needs. A reputable company that Prides itself on customer satisfaction and paying attention to details of the clientele needs.
Replaced a window broken during a microburst that threw a neighbors roof tile into a bedroom window. Office staff was very pleasant and professional. Thank you, Jessica in customer service. Rubin and his associate completed the replacement in a very competent and professional manner. Good job of cleaning up the work site. The window cost was a bit pricey but the service was excellent.
Our newly purchased older home had its original windows that were in need of replacement. We saw Paramounts ad in the paper and their professional presentation and discount offer prompted a quote and subsequent hiring of them for the job. The employees were very professional and worked hard the entire time. One of the glass panes cracked during installment, but they immediately ordered a replacement that was installed next day. Their process in removing old windows without destroying the surrounding structure is impressive to say the least. We would definitely recommend Paramount Windows to other consumers looking to replace existing or install new windows.
Ill start by saying I have had no actual experience with this companys skills with windows, so hopefully you, as a consumer, dont mind this review, but today while driving, an accident closed all lanes except the turn lane. I pulled out of a parking lot, being forced to merge into the turn lane (the other option would have been to illegally and dangerously turn the WRONG way against oncoming traffic, followed by trying to turn around to get to the end of the line). Obviously, merging was my only legal and safe option. But, even with the cars ahead of Cascade Windows truck moving forward, allowing room for me to merge, they intentionally cut me off and refused to let me in. I know there are rude drivers everywhere, but if youre in a company vehicle, maybe you should fake a little courtesy. If theyre this rude in something simple like allowing someone to merge, then I can only imagine what they are like to hire to complete a job, and based on the other Google reviews already on here, I cant be too far off in my judgment!
Cascade windows was very busy I work there and I work way to many hours
I’ve had no feedback in regards to my issue. Horrible customer service from the service manager Sam. He had a very bad attitude towards everything that was asked from him and had something like a bracelet monitor on his leg and was extremely rude which made the issue even worse, it was very hard to communicate with him. After my experience with him I would not recommend this to any one else.
Alex the HR woman is unprofessional gives out personal cell and leads people on for weeks on feedback. Just goes ghost. Dont waste your time here theres better glass companies in Phoenix. The managers call their employees mere bodies that complain about the drive from Tempe Az. Since it was cascade’s previous address. I don’t understand how they dont want to hire qualifying employees with YEARS of experience who would need no training.
Great windows at a reasonable price point. Very happy with our purchase.
Interesting info... and now my experience. I saw these being installed in new construction last year and so I called and emailed the sales individual a complete detailed schedule for a house Im building - 31 windows and 3 LARGE sliders. One month later - No callback - no response.Hmmm... what to do?
They installed the windows on our newly built house. 2 of the windows were the wrong windows (missing window grids) and four others had big deep scratches. One had a strange distortion between the panes of glass like something was spilled between them. There is no way this glass should have left the factory, much less been installed. After a couple months, there are still two windows waiting to be fixed. They have come out and looked at and measured them twice. Now they have been no shows on two different appointments to replace them. I wasted entire days waiting for them to show up when I could have been doing other things. This company is terrible and Im not sure how they are still in business. Probably only because new home builders use them. Stay far, far away from these people.
I agree with all of the people on here that wish they could give them zero stars. I ordered windows through Lowes and had them installed. I only had 6 windows replaced. 4 large bedroom widows, a small kitchen window and a really small bathroom window. First, the bathroom window was missing the screen and the trim around the glass is is cut completely wrong. Then, after the install was complete, 4 of the window frames had cracks in them. I figured that it was the installers but it was determined that the windows were defective. Lowes tells me that they were told the windows would be ready for re-install by 2/14. I call them on 2/19 to ask what is going on and then they tell me that Cascade is now telling then they need 2 more weeks. I am just hoping that the new ones are built properly. This company is seriously lacking quality control.
I bought windows 10 years ago and paid a premium to go with Paramont. After less than 4 years, the inner gasket in my dual paned windows began to slip. The gasket shows in between the panes. When I complained, I was told they would replace but I would have to pay 50% of the window cost along with installation costs. Read the fine print. They offer a limited warranty. But this is a latent defect with their windows and should have been immediately replaced at no cost. To date, I have been unable to get them to replace their defective windows. And I certainly wouldnt pay them again for windows, hoping the replacement wouldnt fail. Avoid these guys at all costs.
Fantastic customer service. Needed some help with our windows and it was a very seamless process
Love this place. Its like family.
Great place to work for a time, presently moved location and not one effort was made to accommodate its workers.
SUITE 140 is WAY IN THE BACK! enter off of S 75th NOT DURANGO!!!! This company needs to give EVERYONE better directions on how to get there! Contractors TOO ! The place is chaos, very dirty. Make a trip to see this facility before you purchase anything .
I ordered my windows through Paramount. The sales person explained that I would have to pay a $250.00 fee for scaffolding because the installers would need to erect scaffolding to get to one of my windows on the second floor. During install scaffolding was not used so I called Paramount to delete the charge and to pay the remaining bill. I was transfered from one person to another and I was finally sent to a manager and was told that the charge would still apply. I was given some excuse that the charge is for having a two story house and that it costs more for insurance on a two story house for install. I dont agree with the charge, and feel I was wrongly charged for an item they did not use. If the charge was for insurance it should have stated that on my bid. Also, I lost a lot of window space with the windows. I feel that the salesman did not do a good job of explaining that the windows were retrofit and they just slide them over the old frame. On one of my windows I lost almost 8 inches of window spaceI will not be recommending this company to any family and friends.
Some poor reviews on here for Cascade. Not our experience at all. We replaced all 150 windows in the building and they stuck to the schedule, did a flawless job and were really pleasant to have around the building for a month.
One of the cascade window employees almost totalled out my car this morning when he decided to make a lane change without looking or using his blinker. Thankfully, I reacted quick enough and there was no one in the lane beside me to swerve in to. If theyre that careless on the road, Id worry about their product install.
Its a builder grade product both Cascade and Paramount.....Builders love it because its so cheap and they can market it up to make the builders profit......But after the window is installed and service is needed is where you find the true cheap of it!
We have contacted Paramount windows 3 times and left messages with customer service to get support for a Paramount patio door. They dont return calls. We even have a Lifetime Warranty. Would not recommend this company.
Horrible customer service, rude people and they dont call you back. Take your money somewhere else
I love cascade windows there great
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!I had all new windows and doors installed by a contractor in our house in May of this year using Cascade Windows. One sliding glass door was installed with 2 internal cracks, so Cascade attempted to deliver / re install this blemished door 3 times. Each time bringing the wrong door size. Last week they were going to attempt the 4th time to bring the new door and cancelled 15 minutes before the 5 hours delivery time - with no explanation. I have called several times and get voicemails and redirected from one department to the next and no one knows what is going on or how to remedy it. This has been going on since May, it is September. Someone called me this morning to reschedule and then said they would have to call me back to reschedule for some reason. At this point, I have wasted 20 hours off paid work to wait for delivery of the wrong door 3 times and a cancellation last minute and still no resolution. I keep asking for a manager, but no one seems to be able to take ownership and get this resolved. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and dont know how they get anything done. I am beyond frustrated, irritated and down right annoyed at the amount of time they have wasted and money they have cost me from having to take time off work multiple times for them to fix a blemished door that was installed that way. How does it take 5 months to replace 1 door? Mind boggling how they are still in business.I would like to have someone who has the authority to get this scheduled, delivered, installed within the next week. 5 months is long enough to get this remedied. I also feel that I should get some sort of compensation for the 20 hours I have had to take off work to wait for the deliveries of the WRONG door sizes 3 times and again for the last minute cancellation and now when they come to complete this it will be 25 hours off of paid work for me to let them into my home to fix this issue that they caused in the first place.
Well I work here in the mirror and shower door department
Multiple windows in my house have broke and when I reach out to the company for assistance, they refuse to respond. I have called their warranty department twice, submitted a warranty request through their website and emailed their warranty department over the course of a month... Ive received no response to any on these inquiries.
I have experience in this job and I would like to be part of the company, I can install a window and put it together
Looks like Im not the only one having issues with their drivers. I got cut off by one of them on the way home too! They partially represent this company and with drivers like that on the road, I can guarantee I wont be buying their products.
I just read a post where the owner of Cascade reaches out to the customer when theres comments on here. We built a house in Jun 2016 through Meritage. Three windows had to be replaced because of condensation inside the window within the first six months. Now theres a stress fracture in another window and were told by Kim in your warranty department that windows are only covered for 90 days. I would like clarification on what causes the stress fracture and why your company doesnt stand behind its product. Its unfortunate that it takes a public forum for the owner of Cascade Windows to reach out to the consumer. We are eagerly awaiting your response.
Expensive but worth it. Best pizza ever!
Fantastic Windows, Great Quality, Great Service for a very affordable price!
Just Bad people. Their drivers cut people off thinking they on the damn road knowing that their lane is ending and decide to shove a car into the wall, police have been notified and are looking for you. I hope you get arrested and you lose your license.
Their drivers are jerks who consistently cut people off on the road. And then have the nerve to make threatening gestures when people dont accept their bull.
Good price on windows and patio doors. A little slow when you go to pick up.
Business was better under paramount, cascades isnt as consistent.
Great place
After installation they realized they lost half my order and now I have to wait another 5 weeks for them to make the new windows. Update: I am 2 years into this the windows ar e still wrong and are not complete. I just found out there turned it in on my credit as a nonpayment.I was paid in full and disputed the final payment, after I filed a complaint with the AZ register of contractors. The list of items to fix got mostly addressed. So now I have to deal with Dunn and Brad, I pay cash for all our companies materials. So my 30 year old company has this on negative hit.I will never refer them or use them again. They got to big and quality and customer service does not exist anymore. When I was dealing with the problems 3 people put in charge of my account quite.UPDATE:2 years later still not done, 5 of the 20 windows leak really bad. Not the stucco, the windows leak. I also went to get a loan to buy a new building and guess what, Cascade turned me in for not paying the balance.I actually paid them off beforr they installed them, this is there rule, and had to cancel the last payment aftet the first 6 months of problems. Absolutely the worse experience qhen it comes to buying windows.
The drivers is a Jerk, he just cut us off the road and Gave us the finger, nice way to show how Professional the company is....I just saw we are not the only ones that had the problem based on previous reviews from other people, maybe company should look into it!
Cascade was enlisted by my home builder (Hancock Builders LLC) to replace a window that was broken during construction. Three times over four weeks they came to the house with the wrong glass. Still not fixed as of the penning of this review. If you have a choice in the matter, stay away.
They installed our old houses sliding glass door wrong, causing rain to ruin the new carpet in our living room. And now we just bought a new house and they just happened to do the windows in as well. 2 leak so far and some sub standard installations on the rest. stay far far away from this company.
Best company to work for.
No adequate response
Loved it
Not a good company
Need a lot of work
Customer service was not good
Slave drivers
I love my job
