Wow just wow! I have no words for what Ive just read. I wont get into my experiences

Ive been involved with Beacon since 2014, and am still with them. Everyone there is SUPER-SWEET, (but not sugarry, just nice).They truly care about what they do, and who they do it for.

They dont help you in anyway, even when you apply for there listed jobs. They constantly threaten to unassign you and dont care at all about disabled individuals.

Person-centered, accommodating, and professionally staffed. 6 years and going!

Ive been a consumer for them for 6 years now, and 9 times out of 10 they wont help you find work theyll support you in finding work but they dont encourage people to find work, and its all about the QUOTAS so they wont get billed by the State, and theyre for Profit not non profit, and they wont guarantee job coaching when ever you get stuck in a rut on a job, because they have such a turnover of employment specialist, and job coaches, that a client is on their own finding work, and supporting work, and thats how business is. They dont have job hiring connections in high places unless a consumer works there, which all makes sense, and theyll surgar coat the situation by saying they will help you find work only for what the client wants to hear, but once again 9 times out of 10 you look for work on your own. Less job coaching due to the high casework they have, and its like Casemanagers in clinics, most majority of people wont find permanent work you as consumers have to be the squeaky wheeler in finding work. Dont depend on Beacon Group, Marc Community Resource, Wedco, look for work on your own through workshop seminars, and other resources in the community.

Job and education services for people with disabilities. You can really tell how important their mission is to them.
