Lee Tennyson came out to my home, I found him to be honest in review of the cracks in our slab foundation. In fact he was so honest he told us we didnt need any work at all --- they were contraction joints built into the foundation of our 50+ year old home. He told us, when we put new floors as we intended to do, that we simply needed to get a good floor installer to even our the floor. It cost us nothing for him to evaluate the issue. This is not the case with all foundation companies. Keep in mind their business is busy, but regardless. I am happy to wait to get honesty and true advice without being scared into spending money to get answers as I found with other foundation companies.

Very honest contractor that gave great advice and saved me $. In preparation for wood flooring, I recently pulled up the carpet in a rental home to discover a large crack running through the cement pad from one end of the room to the other. The worker from Home Depot said I would need to have someone fill and grind down the crack before the flooring could be installed. I braced myself for a hefty additional cost. However, when I called, Mr. Tennyson himself answered the phone (I had been placed on hold or sent straight to voicemail at a couple other co.s). He diagnosed my crack over the phone as an expansion seam that the original builder installed on purpose and let me know that a good flooring installer should be able to deal with. It would have been very easy for him to charge me a service fee to come for a consult or even charge me a high cost for my small job. I appreciate his honesty and integrity and hell be the first person I call if I ever do need cement work.

Our family moved to our current house back in 2016, had been noticing internal and external drywall cracks ever since. Lee Tennyson likes to think his foundation business is the best in the valley, when in reality it’s probably one of the worst choices you could go with. Lee’s foundation team consists of two full time workers, one being his son who you can clearly tell doesn’t work and the second being Kyle who is getting ready to quit. After working for Lee first hand, I was able to see the way he treats his customers, and I can guarantee you that he has no interest in helping you unless it’s an easy job that will make him quick cash. How can you expect him to be the best in the valley when he can only fix one house a month? Do some better research before going with Tennyson foundation, there’s a reason he has the wrong location for his business on Google and no signs promoting the business on his current building..

When I contacted Tennyson I was first referred to Leak Detective to rule out leaks (hefty expense). Then when I contacted Tennyson for next steps i couldn’t get a response. I reached out by text and email, and waited several months in case they were delayed due to Covid. Still never heard back. I’m surprised by this as I researched prior to contacting them and saw many 4-5 star reviews. I feel like i was victim of a bait-switch.

I am geotechnical engineer and worked with Lee for a long time. Lee understands the repair recommendations I provide and he always asks for clarification from the engineer if in doubt. He always keeps the engineer aware of the status of the progress. I have done a lot of projects with Lee and had no problem in any of them.

I didnt have the work done right away and said I would call him back when I was ready, he replied, no problem, call me when youre ready to go2 months later I called him up and he scheduled me for 2 days later. On time, honest, they will not try to upsell you to make an extra buck. I found a few cracks in the concrete on a house we just purchased and was concerned about the large foundation repair bill waiting for me. Mr. Tennyson gave me information about them informed me that they were not structural or detrimental, and told me how to repair and prevent them. He didnt even charge for the consultation to come out and look at the house. Definitely reccomend to anyone with foundation concerns!

I contacted Tennyson Foundation Repair because I thought the foundation in the house cracked. Lee showed up on a holiday and did the inspection. He said the foundation was good and the problem I was having was a plumbing problem. Lee was correct, it was a plumbing problem, and the company he recommended was out shortly after Lee left and fixed the pipe that cracked in the wall. Lee was very honest and knowledgable. We had a well known foundation repair company recommend extensive, extremely expensive repairs while using high pressure sales tactics. We were very skeptical so we decided to get additional opinions from other companies. Lee came out on Superbowl Sunday morning and spent over an hour with us, inspecting the inside and outside of our home. He concluded there were no structural issues with the foundation and we were being pitched unnecessary repairs by the other company. He made several suugestions as to how we could address the minor issues we did have but did not pressure us to hire his company. There was no charge for the inspection.

Fantastic customer service! My husband and I thought the worst about some cracks in our floor and walls, we were convinced they were from our foundation sinking. We were so happy when Lee came over and told us they were from a water drainage issue in our yard. Call Mr. Tennyson BEFORE you call someone else!!! I called every foundation company in the valley when I noticed cracks in my mortar joints of my home, which were cauked over by the previous owner and not disclosed to me. Thank God Mr. Tennyson was the first available company to come out - the owner comes himself, not a sales guy who works on commision! He walked through my home and around the entire exterior. He told us our home is safe, not sinking or crumbling the foundation. He told us the cracks in the mortar were due to normal expansion, not a problem w the foundation. He said we could have other companies come out who would claim tens of thousands of work needed to be done but my house is fine. If that had happened, I would have had to disclose defects I was told about but did not necessarily have when I try to sell my home in the future so even though Mr. Tennyson charged me nothing for his time, and gave me piece of mind, he saved me about sixty grand by being the first person here! If I am ever worried again in this home or a future one, it will be Mr. Tennyson that I call again!

We found him last minute and paid for Lee to come and inspect the foundation of a house we were minutes away from purchasing and he identified a $25,000 problem and helped us dodge a bullet. Now that was money well spent. What a nice, professional honest guy!

Our soils engineer referred Lee Tennyson to us. I can not tell you all of the things Lee did for us that were above and beyond what was expected of him and what he was paid for . Lee even showed up in our backyard during a thunder storm on a Saturday night just to make sure all of the drainage work he had done for us was working well and functioning properly. He has called us periodically just to make sure things were still going ok. He showed up on time every time and did a masterful job for us.Lee could have charged us more if he had used the more involved plan for our home drainage issue some had suggested. Instead Lee developed a plan with the help of our soils engineer that completely corrected our problems. If any issues of this type arise for us in the future I will not hesitate to call Lee!

I was cut off by an F-250 with these decals on it. They were criminal speeding going 65 in a 45 down stapley road. When I tried to called in to lodge a complaint nobody answered and voicemail was full. I would not recommend using such an unprofessional company.
