I flew into PHX to pick-up a Toyota Id bought from out-of-state. I was told it had a missing (stolen) catalytic converter and I chose this Midas for the repair based on other great reviews. Turns out the car didnt need a Cat. And then Joe and his crew went through all the usual items to make sure it was road-ready for the 1,800 mile trip home. Tires, brakes, oil/filter, air filter, etc.. Now I know a bit about cars, and these guys did exactly what needed to be done (at a fair price) and they did quality work. Theyre not out to sell you something you dont need. Highly recommend. When there say hello to Corey, Manny and the lube tech (forgot name Im sorry)!

I love Midas they are great they fix my AC and they fix my rotors and brakes there was give me a printout of everything that my truck needs and when will changes are due there are nice and they are they give me a good price and I would recommend them to everybody they give you your vehicle back within a few hours not like other mechanic that just hold your vehicle there until it accumulates dirt and you dont know if they fixed it correctly but this place is awesome I go to the one on Central and Southern great crew

They oder parts from the local auto parts store, so check the price on the part that is being repaired cuz they rediculously over charge for the parts they put on! If a part cost $20 they will tell you it cost $80. BE AWARE!

Great mechanic shop, accepts walk-in... preferably appointments. Stopped by to get the undercarriage cover removed. It was fast and easy. (No charge unless they will setup the part for you)!

PRETTY FAST SERVICE. I schedule TWO DIFFERENT cars on back to back days and the service was done and very informational! They told me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed they quoted me some reasonable prices and i can appreciate that. Friday and Saturday were the days and the service was fast. The people were great, the inside was nice, i think they even have coffee for customers and had some nice outlets with USB inputs to charge your phone as long as you have your cable also had a good movie on the TV which I had to go home and look up cause I couldn’t finish it (LOL). I’m definitely going back to continue to get my service done there! Recommend it too anybody else as well!

Oil change took exactly as long as the staff said it would take (1 hour). Staff was friendly, helpful, and there was a promotion going on which made this necessary chore not only easy but pretty cost effective. Glad I scheduled an appointment.

Prices too high for brake service over 200.00. Since the Pandemic I notice places are charging double or triple in prices gouging!

Ive been back into the shop now that the bum the had working behind the counter gone now I woman who takes care of business the place is clean, the house is packed. This is the Midas ive come to know for the better part of 15 years. The chicken shack that last man was running was a complete joke, unsafe customer conditions he would never get my money. Na see this is what’s making me upset I took my car down here more then to many times everytime I went my car got worst they got my car to the point it won’t even stay started while driving and it’s sad bc my car wasn’t this bad now look at it I truly tell u don’t take yoo car here it won’t come back the same

So they quoted me a little over 600 dollars to replace an alternator on my 2013 Chrysler 200. I did it myself and got a new battery and only cost me around 250, just under 250. I bought a brand new alternator and battery. Took me about two hours. Long story short they are overpriced and I will mention they are polite and offer payment plans but they are definitely overpriced.

Go in on a Friday and they seem to be swamped. So I drop it off to get an alignment they do an inspection and say that they cant do the alignment because a lot of parts are worn? How when I just replace a lot of the components that they said were worn? Guy at the counter was in a hurry at drop off in receiving of my vehicle told him to get under there and look for himself didnt. Nor take the next best thing and just leave it on the rack to show me what is worn. Overall I call BS. Specially since I replaced the parts myself. Dont know who the new manager is but the people I used to deal with before there were great. People there now are half fast and non professional. Waste of money! Dont trust them!

Shannon is gone. Before I had stated that this was the only place I would take me car because they did good work, and I trusted them.New day. I took my car there for scheduled wheel alignment after call them to verify that they indeed had the parts. Apparently they didnt have the parts, and instead of getting my wheel alignment, that cost about 350.00 for my Audi. I just left paying a fee for 23.00 .and a long list of things they need from the Audi dealer. Hey didnt have my parts or they would have done what they were supposed to have done on that day. Shannon is gone, and so am I. Read my first recommendation , and compare it to this. They will never see my car again.

Remember when making appointment its better to drop your v vehicle off and get a ride home because there is people ahead of you and get ride home let them call you. Great place for ez work remember there not mechanics tires oil change tune ups just basic things

Brought in a steering knuckle (already removed from vehicle) and a new wheel bearing so they could press the old wheel bearing out and press in the new one. I have no complaints with the quality of work, and it was done in a couple hours. The issue was getting charged $150 for this job which couldnt have taken more than an hour of competent labor. Ive had this done a few times and have never been charged more than $60. Now, generally I would chalk it up as my fault for not asking for a quote ahead of time and leave a 4 star review. What really struck me as shady BS was that the itemized receipt only showed $140 - labor... An honest shop will ALWAYS show the actual number of labor man-hours and the corresponding cost per hour. These guys clearly charge whatever they think someone will pay. TLDR; get a quote before they start the work or theyll take advantage of you.

Why mechanics get a bad reputation.The initial visit was good went in about a month ago without an appointment and everything was fine. Find out the lights are facing the wrong direction. I go in and say the lights arent horizontal like theyre supposed to be the manager, Im assuming, goes with his mechanic to take a look for ten seconds says to me thats just how led lights are. Hes clearly lying, but I have to much integrity to deal with a liar, so Id rather do my business elsewhere rather than deal with a con artist.

Hands down, the BEST experience Ive ever had. We were travelling through on a 2,500 Mile trip and started having vehicle troubles. Their marquee had a whitty advertisement reference Tiger King and i knew they were the right team for my mechanical issues. Shannon made me feel so comfortable that I ended up purchasing 4 new tires knowing I wouldnt get ripped off!! Highly recommend!

Great place to do business with. They were honest with me about not needing new front brakes. Only recommend brake rotors machined. Dont always find honest merchants. Work done quickly & professionally.

Didnt like service and pricing!

Ive been taking my car to MIDAS since I moved here in 1/2020. The lady name Shannon was great and she insured that your repairs were done accurately with a fair price. I took my 07 Monte Carlo into midas on 09/2020 to have a valve cover gasket replace and 2-tie rod ends at a cost of $1000.00. I drove my car about a week later and on the freeway at highway speed of 67 miles per hour my steering wheel shook violently. I was able to get off the freeway and made it into Firestone where the mechanic showed that I only had 2 lug nuts on my right front tire and the other three broke off. I called Midas and they assumed no responsibility and no suggestions as to why that occurred. I notified Midas that I couldve lost my life if that tire wouldve broke off and it was a Well idunno. Ill never use Midas again. Im very disappointed in MIDAS and this is notification for all to beware of this place.

Shannon was super helpful. I choose to wait while the work was performed. I witnessed her interacting and guiding the rest of the staff while there. She was preparing each of them to give the best customer experience possible. In addition I saw her working for the best deal for every customer that called or walked through the door.

When making an appointment I would recommend calling in the day before. They scheduled me for a wrong time.

Shannon and her technician were highly professional and extremely helpful. Local Honda dealer provided a report that my brake pads needed immediate replacement. I chose to replace brake pads at Midas as the dealer was outrageously expensive. At Midas, after a comprehensive evaluation of the entire brake system, they not only told me that brake pads were good but also explained me why I can wait. They took me to the vehicle educated me about brake hardware as well as the measurements of the pads and rotors. While it was a busy Friday afternoon, Shannon was very polite and respectful to everyone including her staff. Definitely, this is the place I will go again for my next service.

Had some work done by Midas two weeks replacing a serpentine belt. I am impressed with the knowledge of the mechanics. They seem to enjoy their job and enjoy satisfying the customer. Manager Shannon is incredible and super attentive to the client and their needs. Everything is explained in a way that gains the confidence of the customer. Great place to have service repair completed on your car.

Wonderful customer service all around, such a great experience with all of them. Very knowledgeable and light-hearted manager(Shannon). They had a coupon on oil changes which they offered me WITHOUT my mentioning it! I appreciated that so much I went home to pick up my other car just to have it serviced by them

After installed new break pads, the new breaks Squeaking for weeks.

Wow. I needed a quick safety inspection of my car and they failed me for a leak in my rack and pinion. That was the only thing wrong. I will be reporting them accordingly. This is a sketchy shop with shady business practices and I should’ve known better. I asked them how much to fix it and they said 1000 dollars even. Hmm strange, racks and pinions are easily forced to leak if you turn the wheels while the car is off, and they wouldn’t tell me if it was a minor repair or full replacement, and they were trying to get me to come back for a brake job(which i can do myself) that wouldve doubled to tripled the cost. I just had it inspected by the state and there wasn’t a single issue. If the replacement was necessary it would be leaking so much fluid i would be regularly adding power steering fluid which i dont have to do because levels are consistent and normal. Treat your customers like humans please, not marks for a quick hustle. I know my cars and I will not be treated like that without any consequences. Definitely reporting you.Update: went to another mechanic and within minutes he was able to let me know that Midas was trying to scam me, said there was 0 signs of any damage or leaks to my rack and pinion. Midas well never go back to this company again, fricken scam artists.

I had a 5000 high mileage oil change 1/2020. Well with Covid & working at home have just put 5000 miles on car. Well when I went in January drove out of shop & not 2 miles down the road service light came on. Called them back & they checked it out & hadnt refastened something in the vehicle. So manager gave me a voucher for the next oil change for free so when i made my appt for today told them over the phone & they said theyd have to look at it. Well of course that manager no longer works there, the store # ,she put on voucher wasnt even that shops store #. So the new manager wouldnt honor my free oil change. Last time I do business with this Midas.

Shannon,the manager is always nice and accommodating. For me personally they have been honest and thorough. The only reason they miss the 5 star is because of all the times Ive gone, they have never once told me if my car needs anything additional, although I do hear them do it to mostly all other customers. All in all, do bring your car here. You wont regret it.

The mechanic was very rued and i called him on the phone and he told me he would be able to look at my car then when i got there he told me it would take 3 hours and was very rude about it

Came to get an oil change with a coupon i had. The service was the best.. I found out i needed a new tire. I truly had no more money but $80.00 and $ 10 of that was a roll of quarters. they did everything they could to lower the price when they saw me counting my pennies to have enough. The nicest, friendliest and more knowledgeable people here at this location. Shannon the manager is soooo helpful. She reminds me of a front desk manager at a 5 star resort. I hope upper management reads this and realizes her potential is stifled at a south Phoenix location. Her real asset and skill seems more appropriate for a corporate management position because this woman knows how to treat customers and sell the Midas brand with total ease and sincerity. Hayat is so nice and personable and I really appreciate how honest he is. He always has a great attitude and is so kind when I come in to get my oil changed. He takes the time to really explain the current and possible issues that my car so that I understand what needs to be done and what can actually wait to be done.

A very fair price for a tune-up they charged half of what a previous mechanic was quoted to do, I was very very satisfied with their work and especially their price and the work was done quickly and correctly. And since it was a used car that we had purchased for someone else they did a free vehicle inspection and let us know what needed to be done right away and what work could be put off for another time.

This is the best place to have your repairs or service done. The manager Chris Miranda was very helpful in checking out my car letting me know what was needed. The prices seem very fair too. Thanks Chris for the help!

Asked for a used car inspection before purchasing it from a private party and it went mostly well, until the manager showed up. The tech and I were talking about how it went just fine, but then I was asking about a specific noise it was making and the manager kept butting in and not letting the tech speak on that topic. Plus, the managers explanation didnt bmake any sense. It just sounded like he was trying to send me a service I didnt need. Definitely wont be going to this specific location again.

Absolutely awesome service. Payed around $30 with Groupon and got a full oil change an inspection, and they noticed my sway bar links were dangerously loose so they took it upon themselves to get the tightened up for me. Didnt push any services or parts on me, and made me feel right at home. All the techs seemed friendly, the manager especially. 10/10 definitely my shop of choice from now on.

BEWARE!! I came in for a simple oil change and after i got my car back it started having unexpected problems. My car was leaking oil. They dont care for the customers property. Beware you might end up with worse problems after being serviced by midas. There mechanics are unprofessional when it come to their work.

Extremely unprofessional and there was no one in the front office to tell me how much more longer.1st and last time I will come here.

Worst customer service ever i has requested an apoinment at 5:30 but they said they couldnt help me becuse they close at 6pm. Why give the person the option to come in at 5:30 if they are not gonna help!
