So I brought my Mazda protege here because it didn’t start at the gas pump. The towing service was cheap but I guess that so they could gouge me for the price of looking at my car for maybe thirty minuets. I was quoted nine hundred and seven dollars to change my fuel pump. Which takes less than hour to replace and can be done with nothing but a screw driver. I know because I’ve done it myself. Not only did they try to charge me seven hundred dollars in labor they stripped all eight of the screws holding my fuel pump assembly in place upon my request to get my car towed from their shop. The reviews here reflect that this is an honest shop. I beg to differ. Maybe it’s because I have out of state tags but none the less I would have continued to use this business if they were honest in any way. Unfortunately they aren’t.

Ive used Bell Road Auto for several years now and have always had a good experience with them. They do an excellent job for a medium price. Ive never had another problem with anything theyve worked on. I will continue to use them for both my car and my truck. Ive never had anyone pay such great attention to detail. They know what theyre doing and as long as they keep it up theyve got a customer in me.

From beginning to end it was a joy to be here this time it was just an oil change but I will Soli go to this shop for all my car needs.Look I’m gonna give it to you straight these people are real deal they’re from the East Coast there’s no baloney with them so they’re not going to hide anything to try to make an extra buck off for you in fact they are so welcoming and inviting. I loved being able to talk with the owners wife and seeing them work together as a team you don’t see a lot of that in today’s culture anymore and I really really enjoyed seeing husband and wife working together. It’s a cool shop because he has his car business and she has her own side beauty business in the same building and her clients will come in and you can tell that she’s established a relationship with them just by seeing their face and knowing what their order is and where it is in the shop for them. You could go to a big well-known place like Pep Boys or Valvoline they’re not gonna give you the customer service and they’re not gonna shoot straight this is a family owned business that they both work hard and they work hard together. They are both knowledgeable there kind and they’re honest. So don’t waste your time going to these other baloney shops Bell Automotive should be the only place you go also they like dogs so next time I’m gonna bring my dog Junebug with and hang out while they fix my car but don’t take it from me go find out for yourself why they’re the best.

The automotive side is great... The wash wash side is where my issue was... Leaky equipment was my only complaint...Let it be known also that I was just passing through Im not from there so my opinion is just that... Please lookout and take care of the routine customers... You have a great set up with great equipment it just needs a little love...

We trusted this company to work on our car after having a bad experience with another auto shop. After spending $8K with them and given a 3yr warranty on the work we continued to have the same problem. We took it back within the same week thinking that they would fix it under warranty only to be told that they will cover the labor but that we would need to pay an additional $700-$1000 for additional parts! So, at this point we decided to research the amount they were quoting us before paying more. We were able to find these parts between $350-400 so we asked them if we could purchase the parts and have them install and they said no. So then when I agreed to meet their prices (I had on other choice) they came back and said that they would only except cash! They clearly had no problem taking a credit card payment on the original $8K. When I asked why they would no longer accept a credit card payment they told me because of the fees. So, I even went as far to tell them that I would pay the credit card fees to get this work done and they still told me CASH ONLY. How in the world does this company think that they can go back and forth with their payment options? It seems to me that they are using this as an excuse to fix what should have been taken care of in the first place. I am not sure what my legal actions would be for this unfortunate situation but believe me I will be looking into it!

This place was fast, and efficient. Rainette dropped me off at home while I waited for the repairs, and picked me up. Very nice person to talk to, and Im very appreciative of the service all together. The only negative, was that I was told I would get a call detailing what the issue was, and I never got that call, but overall, I would take my vehicle back to them. Thank you Andy, and Rainette.

Ive been going to this shop for a year or more now because theyre nearby and seem trustworthy. They just completed replacing the fuel filter, engine air filter, catalytic converter and injector unit, exhaust temperature sensor, and rotating the tires on a 2014 Dodge Ram Ecodiesel and charged a total of $2,372.65. $1,754.93 of that was for parts, which only cost $1100. After asking them if they knew of anything I could do to save money on the repair and giving me a 10% discount, they charged me a 65% mark-up on the parts for an extra $650 in profit. I shouldve just went to the nearby Pep Boys, which is what Ill be doing from now on.

Great family-owned repair shop! Brought my truck in Monday afternoon because the AC was blowing ambient temperature air. They had the problem diagnosed and the fix made by 3 PM the next day. Great turnaround! They also discovered that I had a bad hub assembly on my right front wheel. Ive been doing most of my own mechanical work since high school, and I was really happy with the fact that they A) diagnosed the problem and told me about it, and B) didnt put any pressure on me or try to give me a hard sell when I told them I would prefer to handle it myself. It isnt often that I have to take my truck in to a mechanic, but if I do, Ill be taking it here.

I was aware of 1 major potential problem and although I brought the car in for another reason, because Bell Road Automotive had found the potential problem, I decided to have it resolved. Additionally, there was a problem with the exhaust system and this was also resolved. I now feel comfortable driving 18 year old car cross country should it be required. I highly recommend.

Prompt friendly service!

This place did a good job with minor changes to my car and was fairly expedient, albeit a little expensive. They sent me a coupon in the mail for 10% off friend/family so I gave it to my dad, and they just never gave him the discount even though he brought the flyer when dropping off his car and told them about it over the phone when making the appointment. Although he didnt remind them a third time, its a little unprofessional to need to be reminded a 3rd time.

My experience at Bell Road Automotive was great. I called and was able to get an appointment quickly. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I had issues with my Napa Credit Card. They jumped on the phone took care of it and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. Great all around service!!!

When we first got into town, we came in for oil changes and to get a general check because I didnt trust our last mechanic, and there was unfortunately a lot wrong with my car. They offered to do the work needed to make it safe, but Andre said that it would only be temporary and advised I just get a different car. He could have made a lot of money on those repairs but chose to be honest with my best interest in mind. I did get a new car, and they were able to give me a general run down on what the car needed so that I could make an informed decision. Since then, theyve been quick and flexible whenever something goes wrong, and theyre also great about making sure you understand whats wrong and what options you have. The most honest mechanic shop I’ve been to. Car wouldn’t start today after getting gas in Buckeye. I had it towed 46 miles to Bell Road Automotive because I knew if I didn’t take it to them I may not get an honest opinion elsewhere. After all that it ended up being loose connections to my computer. They cleaned everything and tighten them up and I was only charged for one hour of labor. This is the second time I thought I was about to spend a lot of money and then randy calls and says “well I got good news.” I was at their mercy and they are always super honest and I trust this shop so much. They are all super nice as well!

We brought our Ford diesel in for a radiator overflow leak. To our pleasant surprise, the team went over the entire truck, and called us with recommendations and a quote.The work was performed in a timely fashion, the quote was fair, and the Customer Service outstanding.We definitely recommend Andre and his team. Midway Chevrolet told me the engine was shot or internal mechanical failure. That Id need a new one and that it would be around $5000. It was throwing a P0171 code (running lean), hesitating, no power, running rough. Took it to my trusty mechanic Andre over at Bell Road Automotive. Turns out she had a bad catalytic converter, ignition coil and fouled spark plugs. NOT internal mechanical failure!! Had her back within 24 hours running good as new. THANK YOU ANDRE! YOURE THE BEST!!

Ive had a a couple different cars brought here and they have been very helpful. Ive always been a single car person and when something goes wrong I usually need it fixed in a hurry. They always finish on time and with very little issue. The only time I had a small problem, they helped me figure everything out, took ownership of their mistake, and worked with me to get the problem sorted out (in a mechanics shop things are bound to happen, we are all human and we all miss things here and there). I failed the emissions test so I applied for a program VVRP. The way it works to get the check engine light problem taken care of the emissions facility gives you a list of approved mechanics.Without doing my homework I choose Bell Roads Automotive ,on bell and 19, from the list; thinking that if this program is going to pay 550 (and I the remainder ) these must be reasonable mechanics:(I dropped my car off on 7/8/19 and The owner say “I want you to understand that once we start the repair you cannot back out if you do you are out of the program”.Should have walked out right then!We we moved forward.When the repairs were finished I was out 2048 and some change plus 550 from the VVRP program.They had replaced converter, 2 OS sensors and a knocker sensor.Then they tell me for a small price of 700 and some change they could replace my busted radiator,Really,wasn’t broke when I brought it in.No Thanks was my reply.I then requested my used sensors and converter. Mr.Andy said that it was consider a core and the person he bought the part from wanted 250 to return my part. WHAT! When is a Cadillac Converter (2001 Nissan Frontier) have a core?With a little encouragement from me to Mr. Andy my convertor was returned.The take away from this is ;Too pricey and I don’t really trust all that they say. If you have deeeeep pockets this is the place for you but not for me.From what I have researched I put out approximately 600 over the high end of cost comparisons.

I have taken my truck here a couple of times and have been extremely satisfied. The first time was for a check engine light that I was sure I knew what was wrong with it. My old mechanic tried 3 times to fix it and it kept coming back on even though I told them about a TSB about the manifold gasket and bolts. Bell Road Auto found and fixed the issues fast. I wanted to wait a few months before leaving a review just in case it came back on.This past time, I had all my brakes/rotors done on the truck. I was surprised on how fast they did it and the price was right around where I thought it would be.I am planning on returning for oil changes and anything (I hope nothing brakes) else that comes up.

Went in to get the check engine light problem taken care of. The guy tested my car with a OBDII diagnostic computer and then went back in to sit down and write an estimate. He told me the control runner sensor was part of the intake manifold and he had to replace them both even after I told him I had replaced it myself and they are not together as one unit. That was the first red flag for me. Then 30 minutes later he hits me with a $1700 bill which included a $535 intake manifold which i could have gotten one for $235 brand new on ebay and $40 dollars used at Upullit. I could go on but I can tell you that he got way out of hand on his estimate. Too pricey and dishonest. If I were you I would look elsewhere for an honest auto repair shop. These people are crooks. By the way, I ended up doing the work myself and my car runs tops right now and it cost me $128 dollars to fix it. Stay away from that shop.

Or one stop shopping for you fellas 😉Here is my story:Larry Miller is where I have bought my and my husbands cars for almost 20 years (here in AZ AND when he used to have dealerships in Oregon). It is also where I take my car for service 95% of the time. I took it in for an oil change and within a week I heard this noise. It sounded like I had rocks in my rotors or bushing going out, so I call my guy at Larry Miller and tell him whats going on and my suspicions. I asked if it were something like a bushing, would they have seen/heard that during inspection & he says maybe. Proceeds to tell me I can bring it in to have it checked for $100 and if there is something wrong, the $100 will go towards those repairs. I said, what if it is something simple that didnt require $100, he said well, thats the cost to get it checked out but it wouldnt cost me any more than that. Didnt sit right. So I declined.I searched best mechanic near me. I found Bell Auto with great reviews and so I gave them a call. He said I could bring it right down. I asked for what it would cost to check and he said $50 or something close to and that cost would go towards repair if I needed something bigger done, if it was something minor it would only cost me whatever that was. I took it down and they were fast and courteous. Small shop and the cutest part was that there is an avon shop inside! Reinette was a sweetheart. She had a vast variety of items in there. I was smelling all the candles and she says I have more scents, oh my goodness I was already trying to decide between the 6 I had picked out! I had planned on purchasing at least one or two depending what her partner hit me with in way of mechanic bill. The tech comes back in and says whomever did oil change last didnt fasten my cover properly and that they fixed it. My bill from them was under $30! Needless to say, I walked out a happy girl - fixed car, and about $90 worth of Avon candles and a can of SSS bug repellant. If you dont know about that repellant, you should...way more effective and incredibly less (maybe even non) toxic that other major brands. Im not just saying that either. I quit buying avon a long time ago because of their over use of certain ingredients, but this repellant is where it is at folks. She doesnt do advertising, mostly just word of mouth. Go see her! And if your lady doesnt seem to want to go to the mechanic...tell her you have a surprise for her if she does! Get her a little something. I highly recommend the candles and she has amazing selection!

Ive used this place twice before and never had a bad complaint about them, i even referred a friend of mine to them to GET THEIR A/C RECHARGED!! since i thought they gave a fair price..This people charged him almost 900 dollars for a ac recharge on a 2016 honda and their answer is because is a new car..I called the honda dealership on scottsdale and for a a/c recharge they charge 139.95 for that year and model of car...We are looking for other options since this people wont refund him the excess charge! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND DO NOT REFER ANYONE!!!

First Id like to provide some context. I have a 2003 Nissan Altima. After moving back to Arizona 10 years ago, I had my car serviced by multiple shops with very mixed well mostly poor results. Fellow Altima owners of this year share my pain with respect to the recalls and other mechanical issues that plagued this model.After doing some troubleshooting on my own, I came across a few issues that just couldnt be done solo. I began looking around for reviews and read several about the Tag Team at Bell Rod Auto. I say Tag Team because Andy and Reinette are a team that should wear championship belts. They know what it takes to get the job done and get you back on the road. Simply put, this shop is your.Golden Bell!October 2014...The first time I got work done, I simply asked for a quote for labor to replace an intake manifold gasket. The cost of labor was spot on when compared to a few other shops but I was really impressed with the quick availability and attention that was provided. I could not get the car to pass emission and provided Andy will all of the work troubleshooting that was done beforehand. Gasket was replaced and car passed emissions. Felt really good to have the car back even knowing more work would likely need to be done.December 2014...When the gasket was replaced, all of the engine related codes went away and the car no longer shook like massage chair. What happened next led me to return to Andy to have the catalytic converter replaced and to have my fuel line checked. If you ever smell fuel, dont mess around. Take your ride in to get checked. Andy determined the fuel pump needed to be replaced. This was not surprising as the faulty gasket that was replaced on my first visit was indeed masking a fuel issue. The car was running hot as well and a self diagnosed catalytic converter issue was found. Once again, Andy came through and got me back on the road. This repair was not cheap but if I had taken it to dealer or another shop, I would have paid 3 times more. Fuel pumps and catalytic converters are not cheap anywhere. What really blew me away during this return trip to Andys shop was a email sent to me at 9pm. Seriously?? 9pm, good luck having a dealer touch base with you outside of an automated email or voicemail system. This guy really goes out of his way to keep in touch with his customers. This is one of the many reasons why I would come back again.Come June 2015, record heat in Phoenix and I knew the air conditioner needed to be fixed. I had no reservations about having Andy look at the vehicle and provide an honest workup. Brought the car in on Saturday morning and had the car back Monday afternoon. This may have been a bit problematic if it was my only transportation but it was not. The reason for the delay was simply the availability of the part needed. Low and behold, Andy found that Nissan doesnt service the AC relay switch (basically, there is no Nissan Part # for it). This wasnt a surprise to me as a 03 Altima owner. Andy saved me at least 700 dollars in that he was able to find the relay switch by searching for manufacturer # of the part. If I had taken the vehicle to a dealer, the entire intelligent power distribution module (IPDM) would have needed to be replaced. For non technical folks, this is the fuse panel under the hood. If my wallet could hug Andy, it would. These are my experiences with Bell Road Auto. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They charged me $700 for a repair that broke the next day. And believe it or not the dealership only charged $220 to the same repair but better of course! Buyer beware
