Staff is very nice and helpful from the moment of making my first appointment up to receiving my dental treatments. Dr. Spilkia “listened” to my concerns and formulated a good treatment plan for me with the support of his team who was caring, down to earth, and professional during my visits. I had been a patient of Dr. Spilkia for many years before I had to leave because of a different insurance. Now after a few years of going to fancy big practices, I am happy to be back with Dr. Spilkia. He is an excellent dentist, listening to my concerns and then explaining clearly what options there are. There is no “big sell” just the facts of what should be done. He makes you feel relaxed while working on your teeth and making sure you don’t feel any discomfort. Finally, he is supported by an excellent staff. The office staff is welcoming and will work their hardest to accommodate you. It’s really nice to be back with this great practice.

First time my husband has seen a dentist in over 10 years so to say he was not very willing is an understatement! He’s very happy he did! He just kept going on and on about how great the doctor was and Kristina that took care of him! They bent over backwards to take care of him. He showed up today looking pretty scary face was swollen his eye swollen shut and it a lot of pain. I myself haven’t seen a dentist in years but now after today I will also be going there! This place and the people make going to the dentist not bad so that in itself is amazing!

I love this dentist office. Im a new patient and the staff if freaking awesome. I found out on Thursday that i needed to get a root canal. I was so nervous because I an terrified of needles, baby when i tell you the staff was so understanding. A couple of them told me about their experience with getting the procedure. I went today and i didnt not feel a thing during that whole procedure. My nerves were still high but the doctor numbed me so good. He was patient and kept checking to make sure I was okay. Im so happen I made the switch, I know im going to be in good hands moving forward.

I felt like they actually cared. They eager to help and explain in detail what my issues were and how to fix them. The lady who went over my treatment plan took the time to map everything out for me. Great experience at the dentist office. I never said that before.

A very gentle dentist, with an amazingly family staff.I am very dental phobic. I have occasionally gone years without seeing a dentist. I am the type of patient who constantly jumps when something touches the inside of my mouth. So I am very grateful for Dr. Spilkias very gentle manner and understanding of my jumpiness. He also does an amazing job with the teeth of me and my family.What I also really like about Dr. Spilkias office is how friendly is his staff. Everyone has a smile, and greets you like an old friend. Although Im sure that all the hygienists are terrific, I especially like Vicki. When she comes in to work on my teeth, she asks me about what has been happening in my life, and picks up from our previous conversation. Then when she works on me she entertains me with her stories about her family. Suddenly the appointment is over; and instead of feeling like I was stuck in a dental chair, I feel like I have been chatting with a friend during that time. It almost makes me look forward to going to the dentist.

I need to schedule my next appointment as Ive been a bit lax the past 2 years. However, Dr. Spilkia is by far the best dentist I ever had. I have had some terrible dentists in the past. He is extremely friendly, personable, and assembled a great Team at his practice. Ive had implants, crowns, and general cleanings done and the experience (despite the fact its dental work!) was always very positive. I have recommended him to several friends and they all say he is great.

Dr Spilikia is fantastic and equaled by his wonderful , friendly, talented staff. No matter what aspect you need to see a dentist for, you know you are always being treated with courtesy and in truly professional hands. Steph does such a fantastic job with my teeth cleaning with virtually no sensitivity or burning. Jamie has preformed works of art during my Invisalign experience! This is not a dental team that will leave you dreading the dentist in any way!

I have had more than my share of bad experiences with dentists in the past that have caused me to have a lot of anxiety and fearful of dentists. Because of this I havent been to a dentist in years until I came to Dr. Spilkia. He is the BEST dentist...no anxiety, no fear and always a pain free visit. Lydia, my dental hygienist, is extremely understanding of my fear/anxiety and has always calmed me by explaining everything she is doing which makes me look forward to my visits. ALL of the ladies at Dr. Spilkias office are so friendly, polite and welcoming and there is never a wait time! If your appt. is at 5pm, you will be seen at 5pm. I wish I would have found Dr. Spilkia years ago but now that I have I will never go to anyone else!!! I wish I could give them all 10 stars for treating me like family.

Forget The Rest and Visit The Best Dr.Spilkia!! I had taken my daughter for a second opinion, because her previous dentist said she need roit canal on her front tooth that required root canal and caped. Dr.Spilkia agreed. My daughter did need root canal on the tooth but said the could dothis from the back if her toith and filled it! NO CAP he is now our family dentist!!

I went for a check up which I have not been to one in years. My first visit was great. I need scalings and a few filings. My appointment was scheduled for today. I called the office and ask for a different time and they did switch my appointment time. The receptionist also told me she was goibg to do the fillings as well i asked her if my copay chages and she said no. Well, I arrived for my appointment and there they told me my insurance would not pay for the fillings that if I wanted the silver fillings it would be $52 a tooth and if I want the white fillings it would be $75 a tooth. At that point I was frustrated and was asking them why they did not tell me before I got there. Of course they did not have an answer and everyone there is frustrated. At this point I dont want people who are in an frustrated mood to do any work in my mouth. I asked the lady if there was a fee for canceling my appointment she said no. I wanted to shop around for a cheaper price. I leave and 5 minutes later the dentist office called me. The lady said that there is a $60 fee because I left. I told them I wasnt paying anything cuz I didnt receive any services from them I didnt want the services giving that when I ask how much my co-pay would be they told me one price and when I got there it was much much more higher than the price they gave me over the phone. I called my insurance company they told me that my feelings would be covered 80% for the silver and that I would have to pay the upgrade fee for the white and told her for just my feelings I probably would have only paid like 30 bucks not as much as they were trying to charge me. Ill never go back there ever again!!!

Lydia Di Sipio is my dental hygenist at Spikias office. Very professional and caring. Im not a fan of dentists but she goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. She does a great job cleaning my teeth. I dont have any hesitations now knowing that she will be there providing service to me.

I had a horrific experience with this dentist!! I went to him previously because his ad indicated that he was a Gentle Dentist!!! Just not so!!! Upon receiving word my crown for a tooth was ready, I came in to have the crown fitted. Upon Dr. Spilkia inserted the crown, he left me for a moment, came back in the room, and w/o a word literally YANKED the tooth at of my mouth!!!! I hollered, OWWWW! I said why did you do that! He said you didnt pay for the crown yet!!! Seriously, I should have followed a lawsuit on him for abuse!!! I had no idea that it wasnt paid for yet! I have insurance. He is a horrific dentist!!! This experience is imbedded in my mind FOREVER!!!! Bad, bad dentist!!! Hes sooo bad that he has to advertise in the Northeast Times weekly!!! Any dentist that has to advertise in a newspaper BEWARE!!! They have a history of bad manners!!!!

I finally found a great cosmetic dentist here in Philadelphia, PA. I really appreciate how friendly and attentive the office staff is. More dentists should learn from the way patients are treated here in David Spilkia, DMD.

Got dentures in 2 months a tooth fell out. In 7 months top dentures split compleatly in half eating gummy bears. My wife got them too and cant chew her food and the dentist wont send then to the lab. They were not sized properly.ANYONE THAT GOES THERE FOR DENTURES IS A FOOL
