I have used this site for 2 major repairs (brakes and transmission fan) and I picked my car up a couple days ago and its running very good. Kim is very nice and the work that is done is professional and within a decent amount of time. For a complete brake system fix took like 2 days. Very great service. I recommend!

They were so friendly and efficient! The woman running the front was such a pleasure to deal with! She made sure that my car was inspected that very same day while I was at work. They found a few things wrong but the prices to fix them were very reasonable.I love this mechanic and will be back again and again!!This was my third visit and each time it gets better and better!!

Dropped my Jeep off on Thursday morning for a state emissions inspection and an oil change, anticipating a max $100 cost and the ability to pick up the car on Friday morning. Site didn’t even start the service until after noon on Saturday (49 hours later!), then determined that I needed an entirely new brake package because of uneven wear on the brake pads: total charge over $500. I’m not claiming that they sold me an unnecessary repair, but the long delay and unexpected cost left me furious. Doubtful I will ever use this site’s service again.

The staff is friendly and the mechanics do good work but they absolutely overcharge for convenience. Jobs generally cost $100 more here than they would at a small privately owned mechanic. Ive sunk so much money into my car with them (around $2,500 over the span of 6 months) because they were a quick 4 minute walk away from my house, but now that Im fully vaccinated Im going to put in the effort to search elsewhere and not keep getting overcharged.

They were very polite and a great price. They spilled oil all over my engine and didnt clean it or let me know. Now my new car is smoking like crazy when I drive. Its scary and smells. Ill never go back to them. Itll cost me more than the money I saved just to clean up their mess.

I had a very good experience at this Meineke. Dave the manager was respectful and straightforward which I appreciated. I called other garages in the neighborhood and was dismissed and rushed off of the phone when I told them my car issues. I got a quote from another garage which would have been over 1k for the the work I needed done. This location was quick and fair and I love that they have a warranty on the parts and labor! I even got the parts they removed back upon request. My car runs great and I’m very happy and relieved. Thanks!

They took care of me same day. Drained and cleaned my AC and helpmed to identify a bigger issue in the ac system and gave me pricing options. So nice and friendly!

Got an oil change here. Very busy spot but they said the car should be ready within the day and it was. Very nice people too.

I came outside ready to go to an overnight shift at my hospital and found I had a flat tire. I called my insurance and scheduled them to tow to the west philly location in the morning. I had been up all night at work, so I asked if they could just give me a call once the car got to them and to go over any prices over the phone. They were great at communicating and they also changed my oil when I asked. Overall, service didn’t take that long and when I paid in person the front desk personnel was very sweet. Will go back again for services.

The crew at Meineke were extremely helpful diagnosing problems and replacement part needs for my older used vehicle. The ability to get the car to them and back within a 24 hour period was unprecedented given the amount of work required. Car is driving better than it has in many years and most importantly is safe on the road again. The professionalism from the office to the shop was top notch.

They made time to help me plug my tire, I appreciated getting squeezed in time to go to work and the price was great.

My experience was good went in for oil change but they check other things and made me aware of things that needed my attention. They were able to fix them also.

Ive been to this spot maybe... 5 times? Theyve always fixed my car correctly (never needed to bring it back), Ive never felt taken advantage of, everyones been courteous, and they promptly called me when my car was ready for pickup.

I once gave this Meineke 5 stars because Dave at the front desk is so nice. But I took my car in for a routine oil change and the mechanics broke my hood release cable and didnt tell me. So four days later, when I called about my car, I was told that it was not done yet and wouldnt be done anytime soon, but that I could pick it up if I liked. I needed to use it so I went and picked it up to find the hood release latch hanging open. I contacted Meinekes general customer service and they offered no recourse. I now still need an oil change and cannot get my hood open. I have to take it elsewhere to fix what Meineke broke and waste more time and money to get what should have been a simple oil change. I am very disappointed.

Although they weren’t able to get to my car the first day I took it in, they got to it first thing the next business day. Quality work, friendly service at the desk. The hardest part about using this garage is finding street parking, since you can’t leave your car on their lot when you drop it off.

Everytime I go to this Meineke it is a hassle. Why does it always take more than one day to get my oil changed??  Or any other service for that matter.  I work all week and dont make it home before they close. So I show up at 7:30am Saturday, as posted online and they turn me away.  At 8am when they actually open, they already have 10 cars ahead of me and they cant get a simple oil change done in a day? Their hours are listed incorrectly and there is never anywhere to park. Because of this I actually got a ticket while waiting for service!  I had asked them to replace front and rear windshield wipers and they only replaced the front. I asked them to replace the head light and they replaced the hi beam light. Now I have to go somewhere else that can actually follow directions. On previous visits I have been scolded for not getting my air filter changed at oil changes when they are the only ones that had ever changed my oil.  Now I drop it off for an oil change, and surprise they didnt change the air filter either.  Last time I needed a tire replaced I had to go to a different location to get one done the same day. They replaced the tire that same afternoon, were friendly, respectful and offered me a warranty.  A week later I got another flat an when I take it to this Spruce St. location, they tell me Meineke doesnt offer warranties. What are they talking about?? I have a receipt from the warranty they sold me at the Meineke a week prior! Dont waste your time or money at this place.  They always take all day, theyre rude, and inconsistent.

Great service even during a snowstorm! I gather that there is high demand for car service at this location, and their lot is busy— Even so, manager was consistently patient and professional on the phone and in person, and as long as you have time to drop off your vehicle they’ll take you on! I just needed an inspection, but will be back to this neighborhood meineke for inspections and oil changes.

Took my new-to-me Subaru to Dave for a used car inspection, found out there were some minor things to replace, and one major repair was needed. So thankful that Dave was willing to work with the limited warranty vendor of the dealer so that I only had to pay a small deductible. It was quick and Dave was very communicative!

My car wouldn’t start. Took it to the dealership where I purchased my car and they gave me a quote of almost $700. Took it to Dave and something needed to be tightened on the battery. The were reasonable. They didn’t hike the prices up like some do when they see a woman come in alone. They had integrity! I’ll be using them in the future!

Fast, quality service. Dave was super helpful and knowledgeable. I had to install a theft prevention shield on my 2009 Prius. I have been hearing about catalytic converter theft in West Philly. I bought the shield and called Meineke, and Dave told me to just bring it in and they would install it. I came in at 8 am on a Saturday and they were done by 10 am (and it was busy in there). Horrible now I have drive 1 away to get a oil change I called to see if I needed a appointment for a oil change the guy said no drop off only who drops they car off and leave it for a 30 minutes oil change with babies I said can I stand on the side wall I live close can’t walk babies back to the house juts for a oil change he said no drop off only smh so I’m ten minutes from them driving now I have to drive a hour to get a 30 minutes oil change lol juts like them to pull this will take my busy elsewhere and talk about them like I’m doing in here wherever I go I’m sure we’ll get a laugh and wow how horrible was you getting your engine done....... 😂🤣

I live around the corner from this place, every time I go I say never again, and then I forget how bad it is after a few years and submit to the convenience. They always over charge me, they always try to do stuff my car doesnt need. This time I took my car to another place by my work to look at my tire sensors, and they said they were functioning properly but they were sensing that I had different tires. A few weeks later I got a flat and decided to replace all of my tires. I got them replaced at Mavis which I also regret. The light didnt go off so I brought it into meineke for a.) An alignment, and b.) See whats up with the sensor.They did the alignment and told me that my tires had no sensors. So either Mavis or meineke stole my tire sensors, and moreover one of my brand new tires blew out on the turnpike a few weeks later.  But yeah only go to meineke in an absolute emergency and know theyre gonna screw you over.

Went to this Meineke instead of a few other places in my area because of the reviews. Quick, reliable, and good customer service. The lot fills quickly because its small (and current nearby construction) so the earlier you go in, the better. Will be coming back next time I need an oil change!

After a routine inspection turned into a very expensive brake pad, rotor, air filter, and oil replacement, my car was returned to me greasy, incessantly squeaky and with a big oil stain on my mat. Over the next week my undercarriage protector piece came loose, and I knew I needed to take it back to be fixed. When I did, they were very quick and understanding. They worked fast and all of the above issues were fixed. The man at the desk was incredibly helpful every time I was there, and I appreciate the help in getting my car back to ship shape.

Brought it in Saturday morning for an oil change and an AC recharge. They gave me the price (including labor) upfront and had it done by the afternoon. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly.Be warned the lot is small so they do fill up by the PM - I initially came Friday afternoon and was told they were already full and to come back the next day. But otherwise it was a great experience!

I had to get my car towed because of a flat tire and worn suspension. The tow was courtesy of my Insurance co. They also recommended a few places my vehicle could be towed and I spotted a local Meineke in my area with good reviews. So I had it towed there right before Thanksgiving. The manager called me about my car and I explained that the tire was shredded and noises were coming from the wheel wells. They checked it out and said it needed a rack and pinion and 2 outer tierods. Right now after the work was done Im completely disappointed/ dissatisfied the car drives worst than before. I cant wait till Monday to take it back to them to rectify whatever issues my car has now, then I can update this review.

Super friendly and great value. I thought my engine light was on and assumed I’d get a call about all sorts of things that need repairs. Ended up being tire pressure, which they fixed and didn’t charge anything for. They are very busy, so it took a full day for an oil change, but I will deff be returning.

This place is great. Dave answered the phone immediately when I called. I had to leave my car over night for my tire to get fixed because they were so busy from the holiday but they called me first thing the next day. They were very professional, kind, and reasonably priced.

Offer appointments online, however appointments are not honored in store. This location only offers drop off services, car wouldnt be ready until the following day and thats for the simplest of services like an oil change. Unfortunately I did not have services here, I scheduled an appointment with Pep Boys instead.

I was referred to Meineke by the previous owner of the car I purchased in March 2020. One of the things I noticed about the car that made me purchase it was the great condition and quality of it for a 2006 high mileage car. I took her weed and went back for oil changes and an issue with one of the cars windows. And David is so professional and kind. They work with here and take time no matter if its a 2020 or 2006, All the cars are important to them and they work with care and precision.I appreciate them and will continue to use them through out the life of my vehicle and any other vehicle I purchase. I am regular customer if this Meineke and I was told the would not be able to do my oil change last week . The manager gave me an appointment for today 1week later the same exact time assuring me that I could still get my oil change for the sale price. Imagine my surprise but not really when this different manager says the sale is over! I think they pulled a fast one and this was not the fist time I dealt with them regarding a similar situation.

Consistently excellent.We had a situation where after getting the car serviced, on the very next day it seemed like the car was behaving strangely. Drove it back in and it turned out that I had run over a nail in the road on my drive back, and the tire was going flat. Not at all their fault, but they still patched it for free, just because it was so close to when they serviced it.Dave and his team feel really trustworthy.

First, this location is convenient as it is walking distance from where I live (but there are restaurants and and shopping nearby). My first experience with Meineke was a few months ago when my car battery had died and my car was parked across the street from Meineke. Instead of calling a friend for a jump, I thought Id see if Meineke would be able to help. The Meineke worker very kindly grabbed the portable jumper and came and jumped my car for no charge.When my car was due for state inspection it was easy to decide where to go. I dropped my car off the evening before. They called me by 9am the next morning stating what needed to be fixed in order to pass inspection. Even though I waited til almost noon to give them the go ahead on the repairs, they still had my car ready well before closing that day. When I researched the cost of what needed repaired, the cost quoted to me by Meineke was very reasonable. I am pleased with their service, cost and friendly associates.

Brought my car for inspection here, and to have a tire that was leaking air checked. Turn out the tire didn’t have any holes but was leaking from the rim, they resolved the issue and did not charge me for that just the inspection. Super helpful and polite, would recommend

Work was done on my Acura MDX in a timely manner. Cost was competitive to local shops. And I am satisfied with the work completed.

I called them because I needed freon for my Volvo and they werent sure if they could do it but they told me to bring the car in. I did and they were successful in replacing the freon. I am glad they were able to service me especially with the hot hot summer days we have been having.
