His crew was professional and did what they could to accommodate my wishes and did a nice job cleaning up after the job. They did such a sharp and efficient job that my neighbor hired them just by watching them work on my property. To sum up: the quality service I got for the price makes JJs Tree Service one of the best bargains in Bergen County, and is easily one of the best hires Ive made since owning property.

We hired this company twice. The first time we required a huge tree to be cut down. The second time was for the removal of several trees and some dead branches. The owners name is Jim and he and his crew are just fantastic. They arrived on time, took the trees away in a timely and efficient manner and left 0 mess behind. He charged me close to HALF of what some of the other companies wanted and did an AMAZING job. I have recommended him to my friends and family members with out hesitation. They did a fantastic job removing our Honey Locust from our front lawn. They also coordinated with PSEG to have another crew on scene due to the proximity to power lines. When all was done, my lawn was cleaner than before they started.

Jimmy runs a wonderful tree business. He has done work for us twice, and both times the work was excellent. His price is also the best around. While he was doing the work he noticed a few things, like a large branch hanging over our house, and another medium sized tree that was rotten in the middle. He asked us if we wanted those taken out, and then did them for free since he was already there. Recently, on a Sunday, I had an emergency with a tree hanging over my fence about to fall. I called Jimmy, and he was out within the hour, and took care of the problem for me.You will be more than satisfied with J Js tree service 5+ stars.

Had a very bad experience with this contractor. He cut down my tree without my consent. In our initial discussion I asked him to leave the wood because I intended to burn it in my fireplace. He showed up without my knowledge, cut the tree down, and left with the wood. When I asked for my wood, he dropped off some old wood from a diseased tree covered in moss, that appears to have been sitting around for a while. My tree was a healthy Norway maple. Very disappointed.

JJs tree service is the best!! Ive lived in a number of home in bergen county and redeveloped properties for personal use and resale. Any job, big or small, tree take downs or just pruning and elevating, Ive called in JJs. Excellent work, trustworthy, and always fairly priced. I would strongly recommend JJs for any job.

An extremely disappointing experience. Not only did JJ need to be called a few times to set a day to do the tree pruning service, but he left our trees decimated. We asked him to remove branches that were scraping the house and the dead ones, but he removed complete limbs, leaving no shade, no privacy. They look like huge broccoli stalks. TERRIBLE WORK!
