Tried to get a quote for a home addition (800sq ft.) but apparently theyre too busy. Additionally they lost out on an additional 150-200K in renovation and remodeling that will be done..... so sad... they came recommended from a friend with a much smaller project... maybe they;re not equipped to handle large jobs...

In 2016 we had Gary (Home Renovation Center) remodel 2 bathrooms completely. They came out perfectly, so in 2017 we had Gary again renovate our kitchen and living room and family room. This involved designing a new kitchen, taking down a wall , removing the kitchen completely, installing a new ceiling with recessed lighting, relocating the appliances and plumbing. Installing a backsplash, appliances, cabinets, a new plank tile floor throughout and painting. Everything came out perfect again. We could not have asked for more regarding workmanship, communication, and coordination. We were not here during the actual work but my neighbors even liked the workers. I don’t know what else I can say. If you’re going to have work done around your house or condo, this is the company to hire. Enough said.

KAS renovation of my kitchen was a wonderful experience from the original redesign for optimum use of my space to the finished beautiful result. The staff were always professional, neat, prompt and kept me informed of schedule and status of orders. I have recommended them to others. I am delighted with their work.

Gary and his crew are absolutely fantastic. Hes not the cheapest, but hes definitely the best. My family likes hiring the guys that are always the cheapest. Ive tried hiring those kinds of people for work and they just dont compare to Gary in any positive way other than a slightly cheaper price for crappy work. Garys work is fantastic! He does things on time, and he really listens to what Im asking for. Ive gotten quotes from other contractors and the other guys often try to teach me about what I want and I hate it. Gary has all kinds of knowledge. If I ask him about options he knows them all, but he doesnt fight me at all about what Im asking for even if he would choose differently himself. Then he charges me fairly and gets the work done when he says he will. Hes busy, so I sometimes have to wait in line, but hes worth the wait because hes so good. He really is a quality person. Ive used him for very big remodeling jobs and also for small handyman calls and hes always fair, communicative and friendly. I wish I had three of him for all my projects, but every time I hire anyone else it just turns into a reminder of why Gary is the only one Ill call for the next job. I wish there were more competition so I had a backup to call whenever Gary is all booked up. If you want your project done right, if you want clear communication about how and when and how much it will cost, if you want the work done by someone who is really present and competent then Gary is the only one to call!

I appreciated the Design Ideas, professionalism, and communication of Garys team. I lived in the home during an extensive remodel, and they worked around me and kept things clean and orderly. I love the new Kitchen, 2 baths, and flooring. Gary recommended the most appropriate upgrades, while saving money in other areas. I love my new home and am so happy with the work!

If youre looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, honest and hard working contractor and company...youve found it. We hired Gary Clark and KAS Construction, LLC to do a some fairly extensive repair work on our town home. His initial assessment of the work to be done was right on the money. His hard working crew showed up every day, on time (sometimes early!) and seemed genuinely proud of the work that they were doing.If you have construction work that you need done, no matter what size the job...this is the company to call.

Visited their store last Monday, and made a 8:30 am appointment for the upcoming Friday. Gave my contact information. Its 10:30 and I just got a call from Stephanie (after calling the store and getting no answer) saying she didnt take my phone number down. Another Florida contractor that didnt show up...

I hired Gary Clark in Oct. 2012 to renovate my 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in Clearwater, Fl. The kitchen was completely updated as well as the bathroom. He also installed a new laminated floor and repainted the interior of the condo. Lastly, he put in new storm doors and new closet doors.Gary is the most hard-working, talented, creative contractor and his prices were economical and reasonable.I cant praise him enough. I am so happy with my new condo.

A regret that keeps on going. Work is inferior, all 3 bathrooms they did have holes between tile where grout was missed. When drywall work was being completed every thing in the house was covered in drywall texture. Glue was left on top of wood floor they installed them covered over with floor paper and was left for us to find when we cleaned up after the job was complete because the never cleaned up while on job. Things were stolen while the job was in progress. Just a complete nightmare. Pick anyone else but KAS.

From start to finish everything was smooth and professional. Danica and Shannon are absolutely the best, we love our new house, what an amazing transformation.

Couldnt be more happy with our new kitchen. It was a complete gut job and the entire process was worry free with their communication and input thru our project. Workers were courteous and enjoyed working with Shannon, Danica and Gary. We bid out our project and KAS wasnt the cheapest but with their experience and personality we knew they were the right fit for our project. Our project took longer than what we thought but with construction, things like this sometimes happen. I explained to Shannon (project manager) that I really needed a working kitchen for Thanksgiving and he promised me it would happen and it did! He and the crew worked late afternoons to make it happen and instead of saying.. well we will see he said yes and cared. Absolutely recommend them and will use them again for other projects in our home.

Gary and his staff did a great job installing windows at my parents condo in Palm Harbor. Everything went very well and it was great because dealing with some condo associations can be challenging. Others in the complex were so impressed with how they looked, they were asking my parents who did the job. KAS also repaired damage to a bathroom resulting from a water leak in an upstairs unit. Gary was able to quickly identify the problem and take care of it right away before any more problems developed. The bathroom came out beautifully. KAS delivers very high-quality service promptly, and at reasonable prices...as good as it gets!

Kas performed a kitchen remodel in January at my Clearwater Condo. They were very professional clean and efficient. They tore out the old kitchen and replaced it with new high quality Waypoint cabinets and a beautiful granite counter top. The back splash was done with mirror which really brightens up a rather dark kitchen. They started the work on time and stayed with the schedule finishing the job on time. I would highly recommend Kas Construction based on my experience.

KAS Construction and owner Gary Clark worked on some pesky problems in our house in June/July of 2012. Gary came up with very creative, workable ideas for some ceiling problems we had had for a number of years. His crew were very experienced and knowledgeable. My husband and I recently purchased a condo to be used on a seasonal basis. The condo needed a major update, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, lighting, and patio. We interviewed 3 contractors. We selected Gary because of his enthusiasm and because he conveyed to us that he really wanted to do the job. During the renovation, we were not at the condo so many of the decisions had to be made long distance. Gary sent me pictures on a regular basis so I could see the progress and we talked almost everyday. We made decisions as a team and we didnt alway agree but Gary explained his point of view and listened to mine. His communication skills are very good and his desire to make his customer happy is superior. All details of the job were completed to our satisfaction and I became increasing happy with the renovation as we went along. Our condo is specatacular and we could not have been happier with the whole experience. After the job was completed, a major storm hit the Clearwater area and our neighbors called with news that we had water damage. I called Gary and within 5 minutes he was at our condo to assess the damage. He really cared what happened to our condo because he is like an artist who takes pride in his masterpiece. I cant begin to convey the sense of peace that it gave me when Gary told me that he would there to help us repair the damage. In addition, Gary is a good, fair, and moral person. You wont find a better contractor or a better person to work with.
