My pick up appointment was at 5pm and I’m out the door by 7 pm not bad at all.

Worst place ever.1 hour after appt got a door. 2 hours to start unload.paid lumper fee said was good to leave .started to pull out a fork lift was back on trailer taking next drop off .got them to stop they put 1 pallet back on trailer said I was good to go. Except I was short 7 pallets for next stop.8 hours and counting I will never come back here

I spent there 5 hrs sitting at the dock , so did other drivers from different companies. The place is old, and run very poorly......

My partner was working at SpartanNash for some time and complained a lot about being able to take time off regardless of the excessive amount of PTO and vacation he had. A few months back it was our anniversary and he could not make it due to management saying he requested last minute when in fact he informed them of it 3 weeks prior. Last month was my graduation and my partner wanted to attend my commencement. When my partner requested a couple of days off for my graduation, management denied his request and stated he would get points if he did not report to work. My partner risked 2 points and came to my graduation anyway.

Might have to be one of the worst places to deliver or pickup. Lumper service is on another level bad. Dont care about drivers. Stay away from spartanash!!!

Appointment time 12:30am. Got to a dock at 1:30am. Unloaded by 5am, but no paperwork and now Im late to another receiver. Ridiculous how slow they areEnded up getting BOL at 6:30 am

Best thing to do is just avoid this place completely and hope they go out of business this place is absolutely dysfunctional they have no idea what theyre doing

This place is absolutely horrible rude staff. Says right on paperwork if your within 2 hours of your delivery time there’s no late charge got hung up at previous drop still made it within 2 hrs wouldn’t unload me cost me a load and all day time rescheduled appointment for following day been here all night in door not unloaded yet place is an absolute joke as an owner operator you couldn’t pay me enough to come back to this dump.

It is a great places to work even though it is hard to quickly gain experience in order to make the required percentage otherwise they can quickly fire once you didn’t meet the requirement

My driver arrived at 01:00am and was told to go to the truckstop and wait for a call to be unloaded. He received a text at 4:00 a.m. telling him to come back and report to door 40. He went to door 40 at 3:00 and has still been indoor 40 it is now 11:00 p.m. and he has not been touched.if called every phone number listed for this company including the number that they provide for their unloaders they are the rudest people you ever spoke to in your life. They dont answer any of their phone numbers.in 3 hours my driver will have been at this facility for 24 hours and we have not been able to contact anybody or get him unloaded this is a nightmare.I have been in this business for over 20 years and I have never heard of anything like this. Please drivers do yourself a favor and stay away

Sometime is very slow to load and unloading but tje best option is drop the trailer and pickup next day or and the few hours

Must check in with paperwork, then they will send you to a truck stop. Call you after and put you in a door. Unloading won’t take long, but you will wait 4-8+ hours to get your bills. Lumper fees are outrageous. Most likely won’t get detention pay. Probably the slowest and most disorganized grocery distribution warehouse in the country. Docking is crowded and very tight. No restrooms, no vending , no driver services of any kind. Before booking another load here detention pay would need to be negotiated in advance, don’t make another appointment on the same day. You won’t make it. It literally took less time to pick the load up and drive it here from Michigan than it did to get unloaded.

Good lord these night lumpers are slow. Not very happy with the place. Time is money. This place costing me plenty. Hope I never have to unload here again.

One of the Worst places to get unloaded at!!! You have appointment times for a Reason, we the truck drivers keep them, but You the customer cannot?? Guards here are about as intelligent as moss on a rock, whats new? Took 4 hours to unload 5 pallets and charged me $150 to do it. Ran out of hours on their lot, they promptly showed me the exit (at 1am) and mentioned a gravel lot (technically the side of the road opposite of their driveway) where I was ticketed for illegally parking in city limits.

You as well as majority of other auto drivers are nothing more then your own worst enemy and have noone to blame but yourself!! Im sure theres way more to your story! You prly did the shaft move not allowing truck to merge because god forbid a truck get in front of you cuz your in a bigger hurry. He didnt act out just cuz his vehicle is bigger, more like result of you morons! Suck it up n quit crying!!!

All grocery warehouses are terrible deliveries, its just the way things go in our business. This location wasnt the worst. The guard was pretty friendly. He let me check in at 10:30 p.m. for a 2 am appointment. Went to the receiving office to check in with the lumper desk and got put in a dock right away. Ive found that with most of these places if you walk in with a decent, friendly attitude they will at least treat you decent in return. Took them 3 hours to unload and break down one pallet. Lumper fee of $65. There is no on-site parking but there is a street across from the facility where trucks can park for the night. I never looked for or asked about driver facilities on site.

I have a very painful experience with this company: work with unloading trucks at the producе department was not debugged, I arrived at 9 pm at 9.30 pm I was given a gate for unloading at 3.30 am nobody even started unloading, and my rifregetator continued to work to nowhere, was not debugged when I asked you to finish the Christmas time, they just laughed and promised to finish, I will try not to come here again, plus I had another delivery to another state in my trailer, disgusting👎

The company is all over the place they have no direction. They screw you at the end of employment and dont put their people first nor their customers.

7/6/2016 in Omaha Nebraska Trailer #18309 whomever the tractor driver was is insane, on their cell phone, almost ran us off the road drifting and missed the Y in the road and ran on the white painted lines intimidating car drivers to get back on the road. We finally passed him and he aggressively leaned out the window........He is an accident waiting to happen. I hope this is enough info to find out who this driver is and get him off the road.

This place is horrible. Got here at 9:30 pm and it almost 2am and they still haven’t finished unloading me. All I had was 3 pallets. Paid the lumper just to look in the trailer just to still a pallet.
