It says they’re 24 hour but when I went to go get into my storage unit the garages and doors were completely locked and the key pad kept denying and customer service was not helpful. Someone answered and then instantly put me on hold.

Do not rent U-boxes from this location. Website said they needed 24 hours to access your box. We called 48 hours in advance (24 hours extra) as we had movers lined up. Was told they needed 48 hours notice and it would be Friday. We pointed out that today is Tuesday and Thursday would be 48 hours. We were told “Even so we won’t have a trailer until Friday”.

What a fantastic experience I made my appointment for wiring brought it in and less then an hour it was finished .. fast and friendly service I highly recommend these folks for all your U-haul needs

Make sure you take a picture of the gas gauge and milage. These sobs will lie and claim you didnt fuel it then screw you with an outrageous charge. Dont just leave like they tell you to.

Staff was courteous, and extremely helpful. They went the extra mile and helped change a reservation when I realized that I hadnt reserved the exact equipment I needed. These guys stand behind their work and I would recommend this location hands down!

This March we rented a 20-foot truck from the Stony Brook U-Haul location for a non-profit donation event.The employee did the once-over with us in the morning to write down any damages if any that were already there, told us we were good to go and sent us on our way.Apparently on the top side of the truck that you could not see unless you had a ladder, there was damage that had been previously done . The employee did not see it and did not notate it. When we returned the truck later that day to the Lincoln location, they took notice of it and reported it and are now attempting to bill me $700 .The truck was simply used for loading donation items and furniture and then driven to Lincoln. There was nowhere that this damage could have been done during the time that we had it.When we explained this to multiple people at their headquarters, they said it was no problem and the insurance we had purchased would cover it even though I said we did not cause the damage. They also said they would speak with the other location to take care of it for us.They have done no such thing. I heard nothing from anybody for a month and then suddenly received an email today for a bill.they have video surveillance on the lot like they said they do, they should easily be able to pull cameras to see that particular truck and the damage that had already occurred prior to the day we rented it.This is appalling customer service especially considering this was a non-profit donation event.

No one has ever come to a storage location without stress so havinh great honest customer service is a huge relief. These people were incredibly happy and kind. The facility looks like it opened last week. Super safe and clean. Totally worth it and no hidden fees.

I reserved a trailer online, checked in online because they implore you to do it online and save time as well as help with the social distancing requirements. Did it all, had my card charged and then went to pick it up and was told that my card was declined even though I had been charged for the transaction through online reservation! Talked to my bank and I was already charged for the rental, UHaul was trying to charge me AGAIN! Things get mixed up I understand but the way the manager berated me and blamed me and my bank. It was too much to ask that he look into why they were trying to charge me twice. I had made it clear my bank had done everything correctly

Jim did a great job of taking care of us on a truck rental! Gave us a great price, saved the quote while we shopped around for a week and then was super kind and easy to work with as we dispatched and returned the vehicle! Highly recommend this location! Best customer service Ive dealt with in awhile!

Absolute best customer service possible! Caleb is always very helpful, Andrew is awesome, and the manager Jerry is great too. Storage rooms are very clean, carts are helpful for loading and unloading. Would recommend this uhaul location to everyone!

I was there for 25 mins waiting in line while the desk person made small talk with the people in front of me. Goes outside to deliver their van and proceeds to help a guy who pulled up to fill a propane tank. Very bad customer service. He knowingly knew I was waiting line and decided to ignore me. Won’t be back there.

Had a great experience here. Went to the Millard location first will say stay away. Rude and disrespectful there. Stoneybrook has gotten bigger from the last time I was there.

This location scuffed the bumper of my vehicle with the tongue of the trailer. I wasn’t too upset because I understand mistakes happen. However, they tried to charge me an additional $12 for an adapter for their archaic flat connectors that their trailers have. I had to talk on the phone to the owner and he said “I’m not in the business of giving things away for free.” He offered it free only after I told him that his employee scuffed my bumper. Horrendous customer service.

Charged me for a extra 20 miles that I never drove. I only drove 5 miles tops. Don’t trust these people. Make sure you take a picture of the odometer before you get in.
