We rented a cargo van for a drive to Phoenix and back (with a few side trips). The van ran great and the service we got was outstanding. They certainly changed my view of U-Haul and I’d rent from them again. Highly recommended.

This store did a great job! They were both quick and courteous. Shout out to Hunter for being amazing! He was polite, knowledgeable, and did a excellent job. We truly appreciate it! ;)

I wouldnt let me rate it ZERO stars.... First time.... and last time using this location. Chose the no contact option that they offer. When I arrived I couldnt find my truck so I had no option but to go inside. I had to start all over with the check-in process and then they gave me the keys to my truck and told me where to find it. It was behind the building covered in snow! It had not snowed in over a week! I had to go back in to request an ice scraper. Here I thought my truck would be all ready to go but NOPE! I already complained but never heard back from Uhaul but now they are trying to charge my card for another $20 for additional fees. SERIOUSLY!?!

Do not use their services. Screw this place. I Asked them to put a hitch on my van and they broke off 2 bolts and DIDNT TELL ME. I found it a week later. What cowards.

Ordered a trailer hitch and installation for May 27, 2021. When I came to the store and talked to them I was told they dont know when the hitch will be here and they can email me when its ready. It is now June 4 and I cant get ahold via phone and I have no email.

Slow took forever to get my trailer was in there for 30 min and with 8 people in line

We were in need of moving supplies and we came here since it was closer. The female that helped us was super friendly and very helpful.

Nearly 8 years ago when I rented storage space at this U-Haul, it was better. This time around Ive had to endure a leaking roof that got moisture on my stored belongings; roaches, beetles, spiders and numerous other bugs; a security door that I had to report wouldnt automatically close; 3 moves to get my belongings semi-safe and dry; sketchy customers coming and going; and (the final straw) my vehicle window being smashed out in broad daylight while I was at the storage unit for less than 20 minutes (and although neither U-Haul nor the police did anything significant, at least it was on camera from multiple angles -ugh!). RENTER BEWARE!!!

Notice:Random people are living (sleeping) in the storage units during the night hours.... sleeping in couches that are in the blind spots of the camera. Doesn’t exactly make me feel like it’s a safe place to leave my belongings.I’ve been renting a unit here for awhile now. Outside of this incident I have had no problem with this company or location!However.... I don’t understand how people are living in the storage area and no one has noticed!How people are sleeping in the blind spot area. It’s a safety hazard amongst plenty of other violations plus it’s super sketchy! It put everyone belongings. in storage at risk as well!!Please get security to patrol the units in the evening and night time!

Ive used this locations for renting trailers multiple times throughout the year. Had always been pretty reasonable experience. Not over the top but not bad either, just average. Recently went through a move and decided to try U Haul U Boxes... what a nightmare...1. Their website says you can get a trailer that hold 2 boxes at a time. When I set my reservation online, I confirmed they can give me the 2 box trailer to save me a trip and extra trailer fee. I even called later to verify and was told they would do that. I show up, and theyre on individual trailers and told me they wouldnt give me the 2 box trailer even if they had it. They charge you $5.00 per trailer per day, even though the website says Self-Delivery is free. When I picked them up to fill them, they waived the 2nd $5.00 fee, but when I picked them up last to empty them at the new house, they charged be $10... nickel and dime...2. The guy that hooked up the first trailer didnt attach the chains right, so they fell off on the way home. Glad the trailer stayed on. Their hooks arent wide enough to fit the eyes on my trailer hitch. So he just got them on as far as he could, didnt say anything, and they fell off.3. Upon first time bringing them back for storage, they left the trailers, filled with my belongs, in their parking lot for 2-3 days, on trailers... ready for anyone to come snatch up... but its my insurance that covers it so why would they care. Turns out they dont have anyone on the weekends that can drive a fork lift to move them inside. So if you use them on the weekends, like I imagine most would do, plan on your stuff sitting outside for anyone to drive away with.4. When I moved into the new place and wanted to pick them up, I scheduled them to be picked up on a Saturday, and had help lined up and a whole plan which included using the empty boxes to get some larger stuff from a storage unit I had. I set it up online, and then noticed it looked like they set it up as 2 NEW boxes, not picking up my current ones. So I even call the location and talk with them and verify its set up. Guy on the phone sounded like he didnt get what I was saying, but just went along with it... I show up Saturday, and they told me they are scheduled for Monday, and had no way to get them to me this weekend (see #3 where they have no forklift driver on the weekends). Because I had help waiting and still wanted to empty the storage unit, I asked if theyd rent me a trailer for a discount. Guy asked me which one (which made me think he would) and when I specified which one he just told me Theyre already only $30... I cant go any cheaper. So I got stuck with paying full price for a trailer to move stuff because they scheduled my boxes on the wrong day.5. They offered me free insurance on the extra trailer, which I normally wouldnt get but figured Id take since theyre trying to add something... when I returned the trailer they emailed me a receipt, showing they charged me for insurance. They did eventually refund me, but if I hadnt have noticed, thatd be another fee they would have snuck in there.6. I picked them up to empty them, went pretty smooth... I get the one home and back, they say they didnt have me on a contract for the first one so they didnt know it was out... I chuckle, because of course they wouldnt send it out right. I then bring up how their website says self-delivery is free now. End up getting charge $5.00 per trailer again, keep in mind I originally wanted 2 on one trailer... another nickel and dime moment...Have talked with U Haul customer service a few times, had been told multiple times The general manager will reach out to you in 1-2 hours... or ...2-3 business days... and regardless, Ive never been contact by him...I would still rent a trailer or a truck from them... but never u boxes... Ive not even gone into the poor construction of the boxes and how anyone with a Phillips screen driver could break into a locked one... but thats not on this location, thats on U Haul themselves.

Fantastic service!We rented a truck for an all-day Saturday move. I had reserved the truck online a week earlier, so check-in was smooth as they already had the truck ready to go.The truck worked great, was clean, no complaints at all.When we brought the truck back, they said we could could just leave and didnt need to go back inside. It was even quicker and easier than the check-in process.There was a slight issue with the invoice I received in an email later. It said we had rented a dolly when we hadnt. I called up to inquire about it, the manager called me back the following day and returned the fee, no problem. Such great customer service!I definitely recommend these guys for your truck rental needs.

Prices were reasonable, selection of vehicles was great. Good location, easy to get to. It seemed like they were short staffed that day or something. It happens. I would go back of need be.

I rented a pickup truck to pickup some large items. Their pricing is very reasonable. Id rent from them again. Facility looked reasonably secure, and plenty of useful items inside for packing and carrying etc.Staff was friendly, helful, and made everything pretty easy and straightforward.

The L-Street location called me the day before to verify my pickup time the next day. Got there at 9am when I said I would be there and they had the vehicle warmed up and ready to go. The check-in desk was friendly and informative. The vehicle was clean and the correct size that I ordered. The check tire pressure light was on but the employee explained that the tires were inflated and not losing pressure and that the sensor was faulty. He said he checked the pressure right before I came. Overall, a very good experience.

One of the biggest U-haul facilities I know in Omaha. Because it is a bigger facility, I found everything in one stop.I cannot judge on everyone but based on my experience last week - Staff here can improve in professional behavior and customer service.

Used this company to move from Oklahoma. I wasnt aware that I got a free month of storage with my one-way purchase. That was invaluable to us. I would recommend this for anyone moving themselves. They get 4 stars for some of the staff being aloof and unconcerned toward customers.

Rented trailer moving stuff from omaha to a different state. Bought a lock with our rental. I thought my husband got it, he thought I got it. We realized it was left on the counter, so he called and asked them to refund the lock. They said we had to come back for it. They refused to help us so we took the loss. It wouldve been different had we intended on returning the trailer to them, but we were taking it for a 10 hour drive and transferring it. So that location will lose business over a 6 dollar lock. I hope they enjoyed it.

Took my truck in for hitch installation, Once it was finished I picked it up noticed the bumper where they takeoff is cracked they denied anything happening contacted their insurance claims and my claim was denied because it’s their word against our word but they wouldn’t let me see camera that they have in their facility. Overpriced, young inexperienced guys with no remorse or business mindsets

Do not have a trailer hitch/ trailer light wiring installed here. I had a hitch and trailer light wiring installed 2 years ago and they stopped working. I went back to ask them if there was a fuse or something that blew. He told me that their trailer converter boxes often just die after a couple years and I needed to pay $100.00 to have a new one put in. They only warranty their converter box for 30 days! ridiculous. No thank you if it is just going to die again in a couple years. I really wish they would have told me that in the first place and I could have gone somewhere else or to my dealer to have trailer light wiring installed that lasts and have them installed by a place that stand behind their work/products. Wouldnt even offer me a discount on fixing their junk trailer trailer adaptor that they installed. I look under my car and see that the converter box is just hanging there by a tiny plastic zip tie when my cars manufacturer has a place in the back under the spare tire specifically to put the box. Go somewhere else for trailer needs.

I checked in online the day before so when I got to the office to pick up my rental, it was fast and easy. Returning my rental was even faster. Ill rent from them again.

The place is okay, the part I liked most about it is when you go into default they really do try to work with you instead of selling off your property, also, they do not discriminate the way ALL ABOUT STORAGE does. They let you come and go as you please.

Just moved our son to Chicago via UHaul trailer, and ourselves to NY through PODS, but all packing equipment was UHaul, and we used two storage units in the process, so I was in the store many many times, and they also installed a trailer hitch on our car. If renting storage space (which is clean and well lit), be aware that they do not prorate your monthly rental. Our experience here was overall good, but if you do have any problems, be sure to ask for their manager, Jordan. He is friendly, courteous, and smart. He will do his best to make everything right. The down side is that he compensates for a number of employees who seem less invested in the business.

Horrible customer service. Went in to buy the ADVERTISED moving kits and was told that it was an online only option. Even though the website said in stock and available for pickup. Never offered a solution or to help out at all. Guess I’ll just take my money somewhere else.

Good people to help with renting a truck or anything else you might need when moving. We used one of their trucks to move building materials from Menarda out to a cabin.

Horrible location. Truck I rented was in disrepair. Broken turn signal, broken dashboard, torn and cut seats. Rented a 26 truck on-line, but was told that they only had 24 trucks, and they werent responsible for errors on the uhaul website. Also, it is awfully handy to claim that gas is measured on flat ground for a truck where the gas gauge fluctuates by 1/4 tank depending on how it is parked, and then measure it on decidedly NOT flat ground. Dishonest staff, disgusting truck.
