The Salvation Army (and this particular location) insists on sending donation requests to deceased people in spite of repeated requests to stop. This is a waste of money and resources. Your donation dollars are funding this waste, and they dont even have the courtesy to respond to emails asking them to stop their wasteful behavior. I will be giving to other organizations that use their funds more wisely.UPDATE:After 6 months and several more phone calls and emails, I am STILL getting mail for my deceased Father. Imagine if the Salvation Army spent their funds more wisely, they could help more people. So sad, and the fact that they dont even care is very disheartening.

Great place to donate anything. Including $. No, I dont have an interest in this place. Just look at the CEOs wages before you donate anywhere. Salvation army CEO isnt paid.I remember my father told me that in WWII, red Cross would charge gis a nickel for coffee and right around the corner the salvation army was giving gis coffee for free.

I requested bags of T-shirts from the Salvation Army to use for rags in my business. John handled my request carefully and supplied me with exactly what I asked for.

I followed a Salvation Army truck west bound on I 80 this evening, around about 5-5:30, on 4-4-16. It was coming out of IA into Omaha. I witnessed the driver and passenger throw several cans and other trash out of it as it was traveling. I have used and delt with the Salvation Army on a few occasions and was very disappointed to witness this, as their customer service and support have always been great. It had a NE license plate number 1259, in case anyone or management would care to look into this matter. I know I was not the only one to witness this and hope someone else will post also. I tried to contact The Salvation Army by phone but it was about 9 pm before I got a chance to try to, and the phone would just ring and no one would answer, and I am on a business trip and know I wont get another chance for a few days. I hate to give this rating, but just want to draw attention to this matter and see if management will look into this situation further.
