I honestly cant believe they are still open. I not only didnt get over my alcohol addiction but my mental health issues got worse. I am now almost 30 and can still remember every horrible detail about the 7 months I spent there. Its as cody said traumatic and dehumanizing. To put kids in that situation makes me question the Nebraska judicial system. Dont let them send your kids here. If you have any say at all dont allow it.

For profit, private rehab facility with horrible owners. The counselors manipulate the children and break them down to the point of self denial. Force them into horrible punishments, belittle and single them out. I was a patient for 19 months having never done more than smoked a small a amount of pot. Never was in legal trouble. I was forced to eat a bowl full of nothing but hot peppers for my meal by counselors, after a nutrition group where the leader asked what foods people dont like and dont want included in meals, or left on the side as an option. I was forced to say embarrassing and hurtful things about myself to move on. The list goes in and Ill still other patients from there, who are also, still traumatized by what they went through. I have dealt with years of PTSD due to the mental games played by ms. Aryn bowlby and ms. Brandy are criminal. I have considered a lawsuit for years but suffer far too much trauma to revisit that time in my life, still after 13 years. If you care for you children, you will truly try to help them rather than ever let them end up in this facility or any of us affiliates.
