You can see the pictures. This is after three years with them. They make no outward attempt to address these issues. I had to ask them to take care of what are very obviously weedy areas and even then they didnt do anything about them until mid-August.

Requested to have aeration for a specific week when I requested the service. Was given a date, no one showed. When I called to see when it might occur it was two weeks after what was communicated. No offer was made to be flexible even though they couldn’t keep their commitment. Nor did they notify me it would be later.

We used Heartland several years ago with good success. We then moved and decided to do our own fertilizing. We eventually got tired of that so we switched back to Heartland, even though a few friends had said they had gone “down hill” lately. Our lawn looked terrible this summer. They said it was a “rough year” due to weather, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. I called to set up aerating and over seeding. They said to call back right before I was ready and they’d give me a 2-3 day window. I called today and they said they aren’t able to take “new requests” because of lack of workers. I explained that this wasn’t a new request but it didn’t matter. I asked if there was someone else they could recommend and they said “Not at this time.” I canceled my service with them. We will either find someone else or go back to doing it ourselves since it looked better anyway.

On the pricier side but they are the best in town when I comes to their step program. Yard has never looked better and everyone is willing to take time to talk or walk through any questions.

This is my first year using Heartland Lawns. Until today, I have been very pleased with their service. Today however, they aerated my lawn. They used a large riding aerator. There were numerous areas that did not get aerated, apparently due to the size of the machine. They had two walk behind machines on the trailer, but did not get them out to get the smaller areas. I am particularly disappointed because I have had my yard aerated for 20 years by a person I hired that used a hand machine, but Heartland did the worst job of all and charged more than any other person I have used in the past.

Do not use this company. If I could give zero stars I would. Signed up for their 6 step lawn program being told it would help with bare spots in my lawn and come to find out that’s a separate charge. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee that means nothing because even if you’re not satisfied they can’t give you a refund. I don’t know if they took advantage of me because I am a female or if they just scam everyone out of quite a bit of money, but I wasted money for their services because I didn’t get what I needed fixed.

I handled the chemical applications for my yard for years before I called Heartland Lawns. Since then my lawn is greener and more lush, with fewer weeds than it ever was. Easy to work with. Not a lot of sales calls (if any). Tell them what you want, and they do it.I have recommended them to all of my neighbors.. after they asked me what I had changed!

Want a better looking lawn? These are your guys. My lawn looks way better after just two applications. And they came out and sprayed for weeds one extra time at my request. These guys do lawn fertilizer very well.

I could not speak more highly of Heartland Lawns. I use their services for my irrigation system, lawn fertilization and weed control, and landscaping. Justin and Brittany are amazing at creating landscape designs. They are easy to work with, very fun, and work to develop something that fits your needs and your budget. The installation crew was so kind and went above and beyond for me. I am using Heartland Lawns again this year for landscaping to add the next phase and will do so again next year. Great company!

Im absolutely blown away by what this company can do. A few years ago my son used Round-Up on my side yard to kill weeds, not realizing it would kill everything in its path. I also have a huge south facing window that burns the lawn, thus our south lawn has been a hot mess for a few years now. My hubby and I have tried everything to bring it back to life; seeding, weeding, fertilizing, etc. and never got anywhere. We even used the expensive products from the local sod dealer to no avail. We thought about tearing it out and starting over with new sod. This picture may not look impressive yet, this is what ONE Heartland Lawn treatment has done for my side yard. In only three weeks the healthy grass has starting to fill in the bare spots! At my request, Heartland Lawns will aerate and seed in the fall, so this is from fertilizer and weeding treatments alone! The healthy parts of my yard (like my backyard) are incredibly lush and thick, like a golf course, its never looked this lovely. I figured out that I will be spending LESS this season by hiring Heartland Lawns than continuing all of my feeble attempts at self-care. Hiring this company was the best decision Ive made in a long time.Side note, we do not have a sprinkler system. I make sure that the lawn gets 1-1.5 per week either via rainfall, or Ill manually water which is so easy. You CAN have a beautiful lawn, even if an inground sprinkler isnt an option for you.

This company is not to be trusted. They charged me to do a fertilizer application when I did not hire them this year. I called them to find out why they came, and they said that their services auto renew. I told them that I did not hire them, nor did I sign or agree to their services. They said last year it was on their final invoice that this auto renews with or without my permission, and apparently because they state that on an invoice they believe that is the case.In my opinion this is a manipulative policy, and the customer service people were unpleasant . When I called to discuss this, they said I can cancel going forward, but the bill stands, and I have to pay it. Did not matter if I wanted them to do the application or not.They have lost my business. I wanted others to know what to expect when dealing with them.

I was a customer for three years with no problem. Suddenly this year they can’t figure out how to come by and do a simple application. They scheduled it and then canceled it three times. Each time they screwed it up, nobody bothered to call. When I finally called the company to find out what was going on, it took multiple attempts to finally reach someoneI finally connected with the owner Dan who arranged to have the guys come by one more time and once again they Didn’t show up. Instead of making it right, he said he has no control over his crew? Said he appreciates me as a customer this isn’t gonna work out? evidently retaining customers isn’t as important as his staff deciding when and where they are going to work

I don’t know what company turns people down, but they definitely said they aren’t accepting anymore customers?? I guess that’s how business’ become successful right?

I had Justin come out to help me design landscaping for our new home. I gave him a look I was after and he made some recommendations. I ended up loving his design. He was patient and worked with me design changes and plant adjustments. He joined webexs to walk through my designs. He was very flexible and I love the end result. I have a contemporary design for our new contemporary home.

This company is fantastic. I called for a quote on Wednesday, they had the quote done on Thursday and the first treatment was on a Friday. They put down fantastic fertilizer for a very reasonable price and my lawn looks fantastic. I’m very satisfied with the level of service I get with Heartland Lawns.

Heartland Lawns has really helped get my yard looking good again. They do our monthly lawn treatments, weed control and fall aeration and seeding. I had Tru Green for several years. I fired them last year because the quality upkeep for my yard steadily declined so I called Heartland Lawns. They came out 3 times this year. I should’ve stuck with Trugreen!!! Heartlands BEST work was equivalent to Trugreens worst. I called twice to have Heartland service my yard with ZERO improvement. Same weeds were there as before. I didn’t mow just so they could see the bushes growing in my yard. Please DO NOT use this company. Save your money!!!

Customer service is just okay. The rates for standard services (fertilization/aeration/over seeding), are reasonable. But they are crazy expensive for landscaping and maintenance of said landscaping. Some of the plants they installed looked sad from day one. They said they would perk up but never did. They say it is heat stress due to our drought conditions. We expected better results for the investment.

I started using Hearltland Lawns last year after a bad experience with another Lawn care co. that failed to perform even close to what I was expecting, and I am glad I switched! These guys are always on time and do a fantastic job and I am beyond happy and my yard looks fantastic!!

This is the second year of working with Heartland and they have by far exceeded my expectations. My grass is thick and green, with almost zero weeds. I do not have before pictures, but Ive included a couple recent ones.One of the benefits of working with Heartland is that they are in constant contact, giving tips and suggestions on how to get the most out of their service. With every application, they suggest what height to mow the grass, how much and how often it should be watered.Whenever I have had questions, Heartland has been quick to respond and they make sure I am satisfied with my service. UPDATE: Heartland reached out to me and (after much discussion) was able to move our turn-on date. This review is specific to the sprinkler maintenance service Heartland is now offering. We have contracted with Heartland for many years for lawn treatment and they do a good job in that area - but our experience with the sprinkler service is just the opposite. The office scheduled us for for turn-on this coming week. I called to reschedule due to a projected and prolonged hard freeze for that period. The customer service person told me to keep the appointment and wrap the water line in a sleeping bag with plastic tied around it so it wouldnt freeze. I said I would prefer to reschedule - and was told it would be a month before they were in my area again. We REALLY wish we had not prepaid for what is turning out to be VERY poor customer service. Well be looking for a new service next year for both lawn treatment and sprinkler service.

Have used Heartland for over 6 years at two different house. They are amazing and have helped switch our cloves to grass very quickly. The service people who come out are always so nice and if we miss a dog toy outside they pick them up. The office staff is so friendly and easy to talk to you. Very customer service oriented! Will continue to use them!!!

This company failed to do the work they described, no contact, when cancel said I owed $172. I did not owe this amount, turned me into collections and effected my credit score. They also called my family and friends and left intimidating voice mails. I still have these voice mails. This account will be litigated. Horrible company. Run!

They are courteous of my request of a phone call a day before service due to my severe allergies. That alone is helpful and my lawn is coming along nicely. I would give 5 stars when my lawn reaches my ideal lawn expectation. Rome wasnt built in a day nor is a lawn brought back to health. We are well on our way to a completely consistent lawn appearance which is important to me. Every home looks better when it has a nice lawn framing it.

I used a different lawn Care service for the past 10 years and decided to switch this year over to Heartland Lawns, based on the recommendation of a lot of people that live in my neighborhood.The greening up of my lawn this spring has been completely uniform in both the front and the back yard whereas with the previous service I experienced patchy spots where the fertilizer was not placed uniformly. And I am not having to pay for as many treatments as often.

I just switched from another company to Heartland, and Im kicking myself for not hiring them at the get-go! Were only a couple of applications in, but my lawn has already improved immensely. I love the notes they leave behind, telling me what I can do to improve my yard. Getting started with them was very easy. Paying bills is very easy. Customer service is the best! Heartland Lawns has been treating my current lawn for 1 1/2 years and a previous home for 10 years. I am completely satisfied with their service. After an application the tech spot sprays for weeds and then ensures there are no chemicals on the driveway, sidewalk, or patio. I have never had to call to remind them to perform a treatment and their website is easy to use to pay my bill. My lawn looks great! They are also very reasonably priced.

Heartland Lawns of Omaha does a fantastic job at keeping our lawn healthy! When my husband and I first bought our home the previous owner had not taken very good care of their lawn. Within a season our yard is healthy, weed free, and the grass has grown in fuller. They offer a wide variety of services at diffrenet price points no matter what you want to invest. Since we spend so much time outside in the warmer months we’re happy that our lawn is now someplace we want to hang out!

Today Ben came to treat our lawn. I had forgotten to pick up the dog toys and open part of the fence that protects our trees. Ben picked up all of our dog toys and opened (which is a task) the fence to make sure that he was able to treat all parts of our yard. I was extremely grateful for him going above and beyond. Heartland Lawns has always treated us very well. And our lawn looks fantastic considering five dogs have made it their personal mission to destroy it.
