I will NEVER shop here again. What a mess. Most of the counter employees do not know what they have and what they dont have in stock. I came in to place a balloon order for 2 days a head.. The next morning I call in because I need to ask if 7 balloons on one weight is too many, she said any changes I need to make I have to come in the store....after being placed on hold 3 times.. ( I can handle that)... She comes back to let me know 7 balloons is going to be OK on one weight....Today I call them and ask them to switch the order from tomorrow to tonight... Apparently it was a big deal... was placed on hold AGAIN... She comes back to let me know tonight will work, so I verified that I need it for tonight at 5... She repeated it... Everything is peachy... 2 hours later I get a voicemail from the store manager BRENT B and he does not know what to do with the order... asked if I need it cancelled...I call him and ask tell him what is the problem, I verified the order many times this morning, why would they need to be calling me again... not even 2 hours later... He says someone wrote the order on a sticky note... I tell him If I need to come in to the store AND THAT IS WHEN HE HANGS UP ON ME..... The store manager hung up on me... I call back and he starts blaming things on me as if I was the one out of line... I said what do I need to do to get refunded, he says I need to come to the store, I tell him if I have to come in to the store they might as well get my order ready... So unprofessional.

Cashier was extremely nice. We went looking for pirate themed cupcake toppers but didnt find anything down the aisles, unless we missed it. We settled for chocolate gold coins.

Extremely slow cashiers, stood in line behind 2 people at registers for over 15 minutes. Day after we picked up a mylar balloon and two latex balloons for our daughters birthday, one of which was overfilled so it popped in the car. Didnt bother going back due to time constraints versus their service speed. Obviously were forgiving of staff shortages but that wasnt the case here.

A surprisingly wide selection of supplies! I think you would be hard pressed not to find something suitable for any party. Staff was friendly and agreeable

I won’t be shopping at this store again. I placed an online order for some latex balloons for pickup and then had 4 foil balloons shipped to me since they didn’t have them available at the store. When I went to pick up the latex balloons, I brought the foil balloons just to get them blown up. The store told us that they couldn’t blow them up until 5 hrs later. All they had to do was put helium in them… that’s all. After my husband had pleaded with them and went in search of a $50 home helium tank to buy (as a last resort), he over heard the store employees making fun of him and our situation. TERRIBLE customer service and rude on top of it.

If you are looking for a particular color, lots of solid color selections of paper goods (plates, cups, tablecloths, etc.).

They were super quick and helpful! I tried the local Nobbies first but they don’t use logic...

I spent a significant amount of money on a balloon bouquet that I purchased online. When I made the purchase it stated all items were in stock. When my son went to pick up the bouquet it was not attached to the weight I had ordered. Supposedly the color had sold out by the time I confirmed the purchase. So my son was given a large balloon bouquet with nothing to hold it down.Very disappointed.

Still found what we needed even though all the patriotic decor was cleaned out. The gal who checked us out was very chatty, but super nice.

This place was just ok for me. There is a good selection of different birthday party themes as well as items for sports gatherings, weddings, baby showers, graduations, and supplies for family and friend get-togethers. The return policy is only 30 days which is a very short window in my opinion. The prices are high especially for balloons. The customer service is lacking and could definitely be improved.

Called to find out if they would fill Minecraft ballons for me with helium. Their automatic system had an option about ballons which stated they could take care of me quickly same day if I just walked in. Walked in and was told I should have made an appt!? Well the contradicts what you system told me. Told I would have to wait and hour and a half that I did not have. Thankfully Noobbies down the street took great care of me. Party City will never get my business again because of the lack of service I received.

We are planning a beach / tiki themed party and picked a few things at Nobbies, but stopped in at Party City (just in case) to compare. Party City had so much more to choose from.

Terrible service and bad communication among their staff!

Just was there to pick up an order. Bought 10 balloons, 3 of which were not inflated. I called the manager, she responded with, that happens, the whole batch could be bad. Let me tell this child that 😑. Even though I was already on my way to the party, she said You could come back......thank you genius for that suggestion, I never thought of that.....I just figured since I paid for the balloons to be inflated, they might actually be inflated. So yeah....

Not the best selection. The store was messy and somewhat dark.

Bought a balloon two weeks ago for my sons 2nd birthday party and asked if it was okay to inflate the day of the party because it was a large balloon and they said it was okay. Went in the day off the party and they refused to inflate because I had no proof of purchase (it had been a week since I purchased and was not informed i would need receipt when i came back. They refused to inflate unless i bought the balloon again and wouldnt let me leave with the same balloon i walked in with, they assumed i just walked in and stole it i guess? Will not be giving anymore business to party city

Great selection of costumes and party gear. Maybe balloons are just exorbitantly priced everywhere, but this is the only place I really know of to get the cool mylar balloons for birthday parties or whatever, but WOW are they expensive! And they nickel and dime you to death on top of it for the weights, the extra sealant, and even a bag to put over them when its windy. Just excessive on the balloons, but like I said, great for costumes, Halloween decorations, and party gear.

Customer service is always excellent..

I brought in my own two balloons that needed to be blown up and they did not inform me that if THEY popped one of my balloons, they would not replace it because it isn’t one of theirs. Once you become a “problem” in the store, they start to ignore you and be rude to you. They did not really assist me with any solutions to the problem except to charge me for another balloon after THEY POPPED IT. I get that they don’t make the rules, but at least inform customers of this before. If I could give 0 starts I would.

I spent 45min in the store, I couldnt find any employee for help until I got to the cash register to ask my need! Its very big store and go through the aisles back and forth couldnt find what I am there for really frustrated. I wish I didnt wast my time going there.

Party City rocks. They have the biggest balloons for any occasion! And u can customize it with a name on the balloon . U find amazing decorations items for almost any theme party. I feel they got it all from birthday parties, anniversary, graduation.

I so appreciate the curbsite pickup and being able to attempt the birthday my son wants! I requested the balloons I ordered be inflated on the website, as it was a website option, but they were not when I arrived. The woman who initally seemed friendly got rude very quickly and told me there couldnt have been any issue with the website and I didnt select inflate so now I will have to wait. I was fine waiting, it was the attitude. Everyone is stressed and overwhelmed right now. Patience is essential!

Great selection! Its relatively pricey, but the convenience of a one stop shop is nice. They have a huge variety of balloons, too! They are rather busy on weekends and the lines are long but its worth it to be able to grab everything from your theme in one spot and jump in line.

Absolutely love this party store!! They have everything for any type of party, event, season, and even carry costumes year round! Amazing! It is so big, clean, and bright. The giant bubble gum machines are incredible! I have a blast every time I go in there. Totally recommend this place!

Last year at this time I was buying Halloween decor from this store. Iv been there 4-5 times within the last week trying to start my shopping for Halloween. Employees tell me every time I go they will be bringing it out by the end of the week still nothing! Iv spent over 1,000 in Halloween decor last year. If they do not get on stocking there shelf’s I will not be buying my stuff there anymore!

Its kind of sad that there are only 2 locations in Omaha but out of the 2 this is the best location. The staff is pretty good about helping and managing the store. It seems incredibly under staffed though. I came in on a Sunday morning to pick up a balloon order and it was like no one was prepared or knew what was going on. There was not enough staff to help the customers in a timely manner and other people were getting upset and walked out. The store was pretty well organized and had a great selection of Halloween and party supplies. Everything is a little overpriced in my opinion but I guess when its all there is you go for it.

Continually call this store and it only rings one time. Someone picks it up and never says a word. Very unprofessional! Especially when we spend thousands at this store every year. Time to spend our money else where. If I could give it no stars at all I would!

I called to asked for some item that online showed it was at the store. The girl on the phone was not professional, nor did she take the time to look or ask someone. She was quickly to respond no and hung up.

Customer service is nonexistent here. This store sucks all around. Id recommend going to the council bluffs location, way better.

They had the costume we needed for a decent price. The employees were helpfull and nice. The store was easy to move around, clean, well organized and there wasnt a long wait to check out. The dressing rooms do need to have better lighting.

They have a good selection, but customer service is not a priority. I asked if they had more of an item that was empty on the shelf. I was told they had boxes of things in the back that they would be putting out the following morning and to call back the following afternoon to see if they got any more of the item. I asked if he could look for the item, as I live 30 minutes away, and he told me no. He didn’t have time to open 60 boxes to look for it. This was a $25 item, too. Luckily, I found my item at Nobbies, it was $5 cheaper, and I received excellent customer service there.

Great place for party supplies,but the cost of inflation for 24 latex balloon was overpriced.The balloon cost only $4.99,but the cost for inflation was $5.99+tax,and if u want the balloon to float longer,theres extra 50 cents for each balloon.The only free inflation was the helium balloons.We definitely not gonna buy the latex balloon again.Wed rather go to Dollar Tree for balloons.

Love party city the biggest selection of your party/event needs. I was so happy to find The secret life of pets 2 birthday theme stuff we got cups plates bowls ect... also we always find our halloween costume extras, even the weird and crazy glasses hats tails ECT. I wish they had one closer to la vista.

It was good in terms of selection of product availability, but even after selecting my items and waiting in line to pay for my selection, it still took longer to wait for staff members to fill the birthday balloons i bought with helium. An approximate 20 minutes to fill them. Even with four employees on duty. So good products, but just mediocre service.

If you are looking for a specific party theme, candy, or big balloons you can find them here. Plus this is the place to go for Halloween lots of choices for decoration and costumes for adults and kids. You might have to pay more but you will likely find what you want.

Verrrrry expensive! All plastic and throw away stuff. It would be nice to be able to by more permanent items that would last longer than one use!

My best friend got a gender reveal balloon from party city and they messed up big time. She is having a boy and they gave her a balloon with pink confetti. Of course she was excited either way but it was quite the ordeal and a shock to find out party city had messed up so badly. The staff here obviously does not care about customers enough to ensure accidents like this don’t happen. Do not go here if you want an accurate gender reveal balloon!

They had no gift boxes, so had to settle for a paper bag and tissue paper!

Ordered online, costume was the wrong size and the button on the hat of the costume was broken.

I thought it was really odd that they charged for bags to cover the balloons. It happened to be raining today, so of course I wanted a bag to cover them. Place was very hectic but they seemed to be getting people in and out quickly.

Huge variety of different party supplies of varying quality. Only reason it gets 3 stars is the staff they are often hard to find except up front, when you do find one they often seem like theyd prefer not to be there and they would definitely prefer not to answer your questions.

I LOVE party city. Such a fun store and fair priced on most items. The goodie bag toys and candy selection is fabulous. Theres an excellent variety of party decor for kids and festive adult options as well!

I would say only one star because sure, They have great costumes they have great decore but when it comes to their wigs , you need to know which kind there are, the different sizes, different lengths, and as someone who is a cosplayer with a convention coming up, I needed a wig so I thought “hey let’s go to party city because I should know what I’m getting there” I find this 36 inch long black wig and I think “oh this is going to be great” I find out it was a return that they didn’t even bother to fix. If party city is not fixing their wigs, that means I don’t know where this wig has been,I don’t know who’s head it’s been on, I don’t know how it was treated but it clearly wasn’t treated well since it looks like rats nest , if party city is going to sell their wigs I would like them to start washing their wigs maybe use something that isn’t nylon since it is really rough and doesn’t feel the best and take care of the wig because I don’t want to leave another rivew like this ever again, especially to a place that I have known to be great for so many years, only to be let down.

Something was marked incorrectly and they made it right without hesitation. Thats great customer service. Will be going back in the future.

Plenty of party options of course - balloons, ribbons, knick knacks, lights, some costumes They were out of helium the day I went in, but normally that is a staple at this place. Helpful service and friendly.
